- Hello everyone and welcome to a new video!
I know it's been a while since the day this video should have been published, but better late than never, isn't it?
In all seriousness, I had a very busy end of the year, which did not let me keep up to date with the uploads. Fortunately, things are back to normal now, so I'll keep the content coming as scheduled from now on.
This is the last tripreport from my 2022 United States trip, corresponding to my flight back home to Buenos Aires, onboard a United 777-200 from Houston.
Once this video is online, all of the takeoffs, landings and tripreports from this trip will be in the channel. So, what's next? Well, as I usually do at the end of every trip, I will upload a few extra videos in the weeks to come, focusing on some specific aspects. That will be the content for the next 3 to 4 weeks.
And after that, as mentioned towards the end of this video, I have a new trip planned for early March. Probably, there will be a few weeks with no videos, as I also have to study for some exams, but there is a lot of interesting content coming to the channel from this new trip, which will feature a new airline and aircraft type as well.
This being it for today, I hope you enjoy this video and that you find it useful. I'll catch you next week for a new one.

No tuviste que volver a despacharlas en houston como en la ida??

Buenas! Si, las valijas las despaché en Newark y las recibí en Ezeiza. Hay que retirarlas únicamente cuando uno está entrando a los Estados Unidos (para los argentinos sería a la ida), para pasar por aduana. Si la conexión es doméstica, no vas a tener que hacer nada más que ir a tu puerta de embarque. Es decir, si estás volviendo a Argentina desde cualquier punto dentro de los Estados Unidos, en tu conexión no vas a tener ni que buscar el equipaje, ni pasar por seguridad, ni nada.

I recently flew United from EWR to Rome and their dinner options were Indian chicken curry or vegetable curry - such an odd choice based on the origin/destination
And we didn’t even get a proper dessert with the meal - it was an individually wrapped cookie 🍪
On the return flight from Rome they offered chicken or Thai vegetable curry - again odd choice
Nothing wrong with Indian or Thai cuisine but I think they should offer regional dishes based on destination /origin?
And dessert was a small pack of chocolate truffles.
If they served cookies or chocolate truffles with a snack - that’d have been totally appropriate- but not as a dessert option.

Something similar happened on my flight from Houston to Buenos Aires. The dinner service options were… weird.

I’m honestly not sure. I would believe they will just give a snack, but it probably depends on the route.

There’s usually some turbulence around the equator, but nothing to worry about!

I'll be flying the 777-200 later this week on a US domestic EWR-LAX route, but I'm almost certain the IFE & meals will be subpar just like all United domestic flights.
I’m pretty sure UA has some 777-200s configured for domestic flights. Very likely it will be an older cabin than the one in the video.
@@flyingaroundtheworldytb It was, but it still had better seat pitch than the 737 workhorses United commonly operates on domestic routes.
Well, at least it’s an upgrade compared to the domestic narrow-body aircraft!
I like 747,but I prefer 777 which fly longer,my impression but airbus airplanes don’t fly longer than Boeing airplanes
