@@chaosincarna Yes, Nurgle's love is the toxic, abusive type. Quite in line with the Chaos God of Disease. He loves you because you can grow diseases, and not for who you are. He can and will abuse his followers so that when he "saves" them from the pain OF HIS OWN gifts, they're more grateful.
People often forget that about Nurgle. A father can still love his child as he beats her regularly and abuses her. He just thinks that's the right kind of love, as scumbags tend to.

Interesting lore and presentation of the universe itself, I wonder if they're gonna show some the other demon's. Say like Slaanesh, Khorne, or Tzeentch instead we have princes of hell in biblical proportians like Beelzebub I wonder what's the others are.

I love trench crusade so far but I’m afraid it’ll take too much from Warhammer. Don’t get me wrong this whole thing is cool and has its own touch but does feel quite Nurgle-ish. The combination of plague, zombies, and them being extremely resistant to damage does remind me of the grandfather quite a bit.
Trench crusade has something really good going on and they should try and keep to their own instead of relying too heavily on Warhammer

I can see what you mean, but this and the Paladins being sort of like the Space Marines as well as the overall dark tone are really the only parts that seem overly similar.
Heck, both of those examples could even be justified because both draw on actual Crusade and Church history. The Leper Knights and the original Paladins, the Twelve Peers.
