    The cockpit of the 777 looks like some kind of futuristic spaceship. Beautiful airplane.

    There's something special about the cinematography of this video. I love how the cockpit takes up my entire screen and how quiet and calm the evening departure was. As always, a very well-made piece of art from you!
    BTW What was the warning in the EICAS that kept popping up during the departure? Was it the NO SMOKING alert?

      I see it now. The FMC scratchpad message cleared up once the caution message was extinguished. Thank you so much! :)

    Just an observation I see from this departure, first controller instructs them to climb 15000' , after they are handed to the second controller he says 'climb via the SID' which if you look at the ORCKA2 chart means to FL230 not level off at 15000'. You can hear an aircraft departing behind them is given the same instruction and they question ATC 'does that mean climb top altitude FL230' and the controller replies yes.

      Thanks for your message Brian. You're right about the message. I don't always put all the detail in the video. It could be confusing for novice watching. But i am going to check again the others departure charts to answer you correctly.

    Captain, quick question, how do you maintain centre line so well during take off ? Any tips ? And also are you meant to use rudder when you are landing ? Thanks

    • @HighPressureAviationFilms
      @HighPressureAviationFilms  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      with the rudder. keep focus on the centerline, and try to adjust with soft inputs

    • @ChiDraconis
      @ChiDraconis 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like he says; The «steering» just then you make soft minor adjustments then as air-frame gains velocity you reduce pedal motion as one needs to relax and focus on it is pointed generally in the direction it is supposed to go ◘ Momentarily we will be focused on Rotate & Departure so Look Ahead is the priority
      Then for landing if you can get it screwed onto the deck between the edges then that is a good landing

    What's up with skipping the after takeoff checklist and just pressing the button and saying "checklist complete"?

    • @HighPressureAviationFilms

      electronic Checklist. thank you 777

    • @VidMashUp
      @VidMashUp 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HighPressureAviationFilms But don't they still have to actually do the checklist?

    • @HighPressureAviationFilms
      @HighPressureAviationFilms  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Michael Hannigan they both have to read the checklist. White lines requires an answer from the pilots, green lines are confirmed by the plane. The after takeoff is short, and was already green. So both pilots read and confirmed “after TO checklist complete”

    Tu pourrais faire comme guillaume laffon et connecter ta camera directement sur l'audio jack pour qu'on puisse mieux entendre l'atc???

    • @HighPressureAviationFilms
      @HighPressureAviationFilms  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sur ce film et celui du taxi, l'enregistrement audio était de moins bonne qualité que sur JFK, ou mes autres vidéos en générale, c'est vrai. Dû à un petit soucis technique. Mais, le jack a beau rendre l'atc claire, il coupe des sons environnant (moteurs, cockpit, voix hors micros) qui participent à l'ambiance et à la qualité générale. Donc non, c'est une mauvaise idée.
