Right as I started recording Olenveld, I was made aware of a project to completely revoice the mod 🤣 I'll be continuing this playthrough with the original VA for now, but am looking forward to seeing what the new cast is capable of
Hello! Olenveld author and solo developer here 😂 Thank you for covering my attempt at entering game dev industry. I am completely oblivious why the nordic armor shows without the nordwua one! It doesn't happen with me 😭😭 Mic quality might vary but I think the latest bsa is uploaded with some of the fuzz a little messed. Will look into that.... Might have to do with some editing and compressing and decompressing the files 🥲 Although the actors don't know you, the guards use base game dialogue so it depends on player actions 😅🙃 You missed a book that was near the altar arch on the pocket dimension ruins! But that's OK because the book is also available later 😂 if you wish to go back to the guild building search the arch structures
Greetings from Finland, shield-brother! Thank you for your faithful and consistent covering of the Skyrim modding scene. Been watching for a few years now.
17:00 I'm the voce actor for Halgvar, yeah I'm using a headset mic lmao, This was my first time actually voice acting so I definitely could have done better with the audio quality.
I agree with you on the VO on that first guy who died on the road. It was a little rough to hear. It could use a redo to slow the cadence, distance from the mic, and of course... the coughing... need pop filter.
Yeah... I'll admit, I ran it pretty roughshod. I've got lots of room for improvement (I'm learning XD) - but I'm really glad that you were still able to enjoy my take on Eredin. Keep up the great work on the vids~
I had a couple of minor technical issues which were quickly fixed. The nature of the quest demands that you explore quite a bit as there is an order that places must be cleared to a certain extent. The quest itself worked perfectly. The locations are well done and I thought rebuilding the town was a neat feature.
Pretty sure Madanach has been an orb for at least two centuries. Since the Mages Guild Dissolved near the beginning of the 4th era and he called it "His guild". Probably even older if we take "The Exodus" as true history. He's been out of the loop for a while. Wait... this means Madanach is Nate from Fallout 4!
Ahhh! Just the mod I was hoping you would play through. I have been thinking about this one, but honestly wanted to see you play it first. (Plus I am running out of ESP slots in my Skyrim VR.... lol)
There’s now an esl file and flag support mod for Skyrim VR. You can also use xEdit to flag mods as esp-lite. This can be done on some mods without changing anything except the flag in the header. On other mods this requires compacting formIDs. I recommend reading about this, it will save you hundreds of esp slots.
I have been waiting for this mod for some time, glad you're covering it. I do have a question tho: are you using the new graphics modlist you posted a video about or keeping the old one?
This is still the old one just because I have more save games set up on it. I'm currently recording a video on the newer one, and am going to start setting up some saves to use on it for further use
Looks alright so far. Vanilla with sprinkles. I'm probably going to wait a while before downloading, as the mod is going to get more polish and bug fixes soon. Stuff like being able to improve the new BW armor etc. The first guard that died had bad mic quality but I'm sure the author will get that fixed up. I always appreciate a new land/quest mod that adds new music. PS: I imagine that a lvl 81 character with fully decked out and tempered equipment is going to have an easy time on Adept. I don't think these special skeletons are meant to die in 1 hit like the basic skeletons in vanilla.
@@urbonx Yes, except a few bug fixes I suppose. And just for clarfication: DAC0DA is in some way disconnected from the time line (the same way C0DA is) prior to Glenmoril and can be played before Vigilant but is recommended to be played before Glenmoril. So, it's not exactly a pre-sequel but ties into the overall journey of Owlc0da. Just some explanation provided by Aelarr I wanted to share. How exactly it ties into C0DA or has relations, I do not know, I am too waiting for the proper translation, maybe even voice-acted versions so I can play all in one go.
Comments about being Dark Brotherhood, things that happened in Skyrim, via NPC comments, need to be fixed to be able to immerse yourself into the roll properly. Tell him everything... "I found a note on a table of a dead man's house, faught undead and cultists, made it to town, they asked me to check the sealed tower, met a silly orb of light, reminds me of the Augur under the mage's collage when I was dealing with the eye of magnus, don't tell me we need the whole set..." So really not much to tell. LOL
For various reasons, most obvious one is compatibility. Having a bunch of new of dungeons, towns, npcs, etc on the mainland can cause compatibility issues with both vanilla and other mods.
George you always take gold and ale npc says to LDB Alduin the world eater has returned you to npc sorry too hungover no saving Skyrim today it will have to wait, haha another great video
An Island that is a day's travel north from Winterhold & they don't know about Dragons! Dragons that can fly several miles in minutes! Dragons aren't bound to the Skyrim area of the world; they can go wherever they want! The voiceover sounds so off it breaks immersion of the Mod! Wish they would have added The Eye of Magnus & The Staff of Magnus options if you had done those! Also adding that you are Archemage of the Mages Guild if you did that before this! Would have been cool if you brought The Staff of Magnus & that had been mentioned! This sadly is a big NO for me!
Right as I started recording Olenveld, I was made aware of a project to completely revoice the mod 🤣

Helga and especially Eredin had pretty good VA so far. They should be kept at least.

I been losing hope in Skyrim modding community but zero period still keep me interested

You did Good Job Keep it up! :)
I agree with you on the VO on that first guy who died on the road. It was a little rough to hear. It could use a redo to slow the cadence, distance from the mic, and of course... the coughing... need pop filter.
The cough filter if you will
This is one of those mods I thought would never be finished.
Yeah... I'll admit, I ran it pretty roughshod. I've got lots of room for improvement (I'm learning XD) - but I'm really glad that you were still able to enjoy my take on Eredin. Keep up the great work on the vids~
That note, about Ivara? Its a reference to the CC quest for the Staff of Hasedoki, which i find pretty cool.
I was hoping you we're going to play this mod soon, love to see it!
Ey... my fav youtuber made a video about this amazing mod! Cant wait for full series!

Wow you where able to read the first note in the cabin. I cant read it with the blood on it lol.
Zoom in

@@0periodproductions Quickly we need to Press X to "Jason!".

Ooo This mod looks good! Soz I'm late But I loved this
25:42 man might get nervous, guard approaches with his weapon drawn
That crazy mic really took me by surprise.

I think I've just become so accustomed to quest mods being aimed at "endgame" difficulty that I'm pleasantly surprised when it's not the case
Wait..what?! You have an extra picky george?! I'm going to have to watch the video again. So I can recognize this " extra picky" lol.
34:57 well.… eyes do come in pairs… At least with humans and elves, and I assume magna-ge as well…
Will you be covering VICN's new quest mod DAC0DA? Story wise it sits between Vigilant and Glenmoril
I can imagine, he will await until all mods get voiced. Shouldn't be too far into the future anymore. To my knowledge, Glenmoril is 95% done.
@@DragonOfTheNorth1 Probably. Dac0da it seems finished already.
@@urbonx Yes, except a few bug fixes I suppose.

No. Not Winterhold, in Dawnstar you find a Fisherman shack and boat that starts the quest.
If you have Telegard this mod integrates seamlessly although by accident it seems
@kahrnivor yeah I would love to try this out but sadly I don't have enough space for everything LOL one day I will
Love this
This is the first time I've experienced a mod not being recognized.
Unfortunately, I can't play.
Why are there so many quest mods that take place on some random island outside of Skyrim? No hate to anyone just wondering
For various reasons, most obvious one is compatibility. Having a bunch of new of dungeons, towns, npcs, etc on the mainland can cause compatibility issues with both vanilla and other mods.
less compatibility issues and easiest way to incorporate new lands without making an entire continent or province.
There's also a ton of random islands in lore so it makes sense to utilize those
George you always take gold and ale npc says to LDB Alduin the world eater has returned you to npc sorry too hungover no saving Skyrim today it will have to wait, haha another great video

This on Xbox
That voice over and mic is horrible………takes you out of the immersion
Surprised it is not a paid mod.
