Saved my ass with this was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what the issue was with my rear driver side lights, threw fuses at it bulbs nothing never would have even considered to pry the connectors in the socket out a bit. But worked like a charm thank you for making this !!
Thank you so much for making this video. You saved me a lot of heartache, a headache, a complete and utter nervous breakdown. I did what you advised and lived to see another day!
I tried everything before finding your video. Pulling the tabs out for better contact fixed my problem! Thank you so much! I had appointment set for my mechanic to look it. Cancelling that $114 electrical diagnostic. Again, thanks for making this video! So very much appreciated sir!
Don't know if you still check comments. You saved me from having to scare up an alternative ride. Auto electricals are pretty much my red line. If I can't resolve it reasonably quickly and without resorting to hacks and re-routing, I'll take a vehicle to the wrecking yard rather than fight a lost cause or impose it on someone else. This simple, clear and CORRECT fix puts me in your debt!
Thanks so much for "2001-2007 Grand Caravan, Town and Country Brake Light Or Blinker Intermittent Or Not Working" I was cleaning everything even looking at the PC board. BUT I had NOT bent the outer contacts of the bulb socket. First time, I sprung them a little, next time more pressure and it worked. THANKS!!
This worked for me to fix rear driver side brake & turn signal lights. I already bought replacement bulbs, but the old ones looked perfect. The contacts were clean with zero corrosion at all.
I have a 2013 Town & Country that the Left turn signal stopped working. After purchasing a new bulb & it didn’t fix the problem; I noticed that the old bulb is still good. I‘ve checked all the wiring to the amber light bulb & there’s no breaks. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time & advice.
You just saved me and my wife a big headache. Here I was starting to go thru the fuses then I decided I would ask youtube"what happens when you change out your brake light and it still doesn't work on my 2002 dodge grand caravan?" Then up popped your video. So thank you so much for posting this video. Sincerely, J. Sanchez😊
I just changed my brake light switch and now my passenger side works but my driver's side rear turn signal and brake lights still don't. I'm not sure if it's an electrical issue or not because my tail lights still have power. It's frustrating.
Do the tail lights and front blinkers still work when this is the issue?. I have and 06 T&C and my headlights and taillights come on, and when I turn my turn signal on they flash on the dash like they are blinking. But they are not. Front and rear not blinking, and though my tail light is on, the brake will not initiate either. It's my only vehicle right now and I'm stuck. Don't know what to do
Great video. After watching, I was able to fix my 2005 Chrysler Town & Country brake lights and blinkers. Turns out there was corrosion in both bulb holders, which I cleaned out and put back into each taillight lens. But, initially, still no lights. BUT it also turns out, that there is nothing to prevent you from installing the plastic bulb holders that snap into in each taillight assembly, upside down. If you reassemble either black bulb holders turned 180 degrees, you will still not have stop lights or blinkers. Flip the bulb holders into their correct orientation, and Voiila!, everything works now. Thanks.
@@jaywalker3553 Your blinker and brake lights share the same circuit. The running light uses a different set of wires. Do the running lights turn on at all?
@@jaywalker3553 Under the hood fuse box look for the park lamp relay. Swap it with another similar relay from the fuse box and see if the lights come on. There are also 2 15amp fuses to check. Fuse number 2 and 3. Let me know what you find 👍
Yep, that would be the usual process. Most of the time 9/10 it's the bulb. These Dodge Jeep Chrysler lens housings have this common issue. Just something to look at when you pull the bulb out for inspection.

Just did these to my van , problem solve. Thank you 😊 God bless you.
Great! Glad this helped 👍
Thank you! I just changed the bulbs with no result, and indeed the contacts were corroded, I did not pay attention to it before you explained it
Cool! Glad you got it 👍
THANK YOU MAN!
I was just about ready to take it to a damn shop for a wiring issue.

Thank You for the tip, it saved me from taking it to my mechanic.
I keep forgetting to check you tube first. You were right, I closed the connectors a little, works good now. I have a 2001 GC

Could this also be the problem with a 2009 grand caravan??

Unfortunately nothing like my 07 town and country. Mine has the 2 bottom pin and side ground bulbs
Check powers and grounds that is the most likely problem as the location of the connection are prone to corrosion
It did not work for me changes bulb and the fuse thing that the bulb goes in
So my issue is that my tail lights don’t get bright at night my blinker and brake light work perfectly I’m lost

Check to make sure you have power coming from the connector.
