I am not an Organ Guy, but wow, am I impressed with the quality of the sound and versatility!! Thanks for the demonstration!!! You may have just turned me into the next Hammond Guy!!!
I mean I literally had the time of my life sitting here watching you slay it on that solo Daniel! As a fellow pianist, I’m actually refreshed very much by this! The Hammond sounded amazing.
The biggest Takeaway from this demo is how the M-Solo model only seems to be lacking the fifth octave of keys. If that’s too simple or incomplete of a summation, please say so. If I’m not mistaken, none of the other Hammond keyboards from recent years have included additional synthesizer circuitry built-in.
Looks like a great bit of live kit. Waterfall keys? Neat to see voice & string on there. Hope this does not get overlooked like the Waldorf STVC, which admittedly is a different thing, but also looks like a great bit of kit.
I think the overall weakness is the leslie is not adjustable far as I can see.. There are some who complained the top speed was too fast but listening to it I didn't find it too fast, though it would be nice to adjust, like you can the click and leakage as well as the keys action response.
I have one, it is a bit fast and I do wish it were adjustable. I also find the percussion to be a bit harsh in the hi frequency range. What are you using for amplification ??
Hi, thanks for your interest! You can connect a second keyboard via MIDI, but the M-Solo only has one sound generator, so this wouldn’t be a good emulation of a B-3. It’s really intended to be a portable solution to get quality organ sounds from a single keyboard. To get an instrument with two sound generators, one of which can be controlled from a second keyboard, you would need to step up to the XK-1c in Hammond’s product lineup. Hope this helps a bit - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! Caleb Lowrey, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1620, caleb_lowrey@sweetwater.com
I'm needing a small organ to replace an old crappy Technics one from the 70s/80s. It would be used for church, but I do not want any vibrato and something that sounds like a pipe organ. Would this work?
3 kings came to the history of music, as in the Bible. Hammond FenderRhodes piano and Moog and these 3 kings will remain reigning until the end of the world.
I just bought a blue one from you guys on eBay….. can’t wait to get it later this month. Will use in church worship band instead of the B3 i’m using now and compare 🤪💙🙉🎶🥹

Daniel is such a killer keyboard player man, love to see him ripping it up
Holy shit, that synth part of the demo was incredible, as was the sound of the Ace organ.

Is it possible to add this functionality with update pack?
Wonderful! 🎹🎶
that vox organ demo literally gave so much doors
7:07 Instant Rick Wakeman!😂
True test is when you go to those single note runs....don't get cut on those keys!
My wallet is lucky I'm not gigging anymore! Otherwise, I'd have to have one of these. Great demo, great sounding organ.
Does this keyboard support a second keyboard (over midi) for emulation of an actual B3 with two keybeds?
