    I listened to stoicism and its valuable knowledge while tending my garden - I always do. I've also been caring for my spouse who is recovering from two types of cancer illness. Music, gardening, and stoicism have become my guidance, and source of strengths and inspiration, as a matter of fact. After I helped my spouse get dressed up this morning, I headed out in my backyard, plugged-in with ear buds, started planting flowers and a couple of veggie crops, ready for spring, yahoo!!😃 Not only does it feel great to have accomplished something that is fun and important to me, I have learned wonderful things listening to the ancient power of stoicism for five hours - just today. Thank you, THANK YOU, thank you for your contribution sharing the timeless, invaluable, and important knowledge of stoicism.🙏

      Your journey with stoicism alongside caring for your spouse and tending to your garden sounds incredibly enriching and inspiring. How do you find the teachings of stoicism resonating with your experiences in nurturing both your garden and your loved ones through challenging times?

    • @PlaceOfAbundance-cv8kp
      @PlaceOfAbundance-cv8kp 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @StoicSpirit101 It's not always simple but it's easy to find that balance in each day. Yes, there are challenges we face, and I believe many of us do, we feel disappointed and frustrated at times. I think it's important that we pay attention to our emotions and by recognizing them instead of trying to suppress them we will find the guidance to heal. I not only find it soothingly relaxing doing garden, seeing many different vibrant colors in my garden - I feel the "love" being returned to me. And with stoicism being played in the background that adds more inspirational insight is a true antidote. But that's just me.😃

      @@stoickingdom2024 I'm in a crisis at this time (who isn't right) There are a number of people where I currently live who make my life hell everyday. I don't know who or why they chose to do this, but it has greatly effected my ability to feel comfortable around people and I'm also facing some health issues due to some lifestyle changes which I refused to realistically undertake. These things are playing a huge role in making me feel unattractive, unsightly, and downright unapproachable. So to answer the question of how I plan to cultivate the right kinds of health relationships, at this time, I must confess: I do not know

      Thank you for sharing your journey so openly! It’s a powerful realization when we recognize that kindness, without boundaries, can sometimes lead us to unwise connections. Stoic wisdom truly does help us to focus on what we can control, and it sounds like you’re already on a great path toward cultivating that awareness and inner strength.
      Have you found any specific Stoic teachings or exercises that resonate with you as you work on setting boundaries and practicing self-control? Sometimes just taking small steps, like daily reflections or practicing gratitude for the things within our control, can make a huge difference. Keep seeking wisdom; it’s a journey, and you’re definitely not alone in it!

      @@Maria-o3o6f The worst part about this is that the 1️⃣ person I should have been able to trust with my love (my own mother) is THE actual Devil in flesh form. GOING FORWARD: referred to as “IT”. Now that I’m aware of the many people that “IT” has employed in its attempts to try to kill me, distort my spiritual beliefs, snuff out my bright inner LIGHT; PLEASE know that this will NEVER HAPPEN!! 😂😂
      I’m no longer crying over ANY of THEM. They are pathetic excuses of human beings! 👇🏼👇🏼
      I’ve been gifted the ability to see through “IT’S” “flying monkeys”. So, it just seems like I’m looking at “glass houses”. I can actually SEE the EVIL in their faces, eyes, and in the fake friendships and smiles… from over 50 years of “IT” recruiting “FAKE friendships”, “fake romantic relationships” with ABUSERS that IT has PAID. “IT” has a background in telecommunications in technology. “IT” has been utilizing the social media platforms, along with some of the Federal Government’s (where “IT” is EMPLOYED) tools to commit TREASON, FRAUD, EMBEZZLEMENT, along with providing US trading secrets to our countries enemies to help TERRORISTS invade us- such as the attacks on the US Trade Centers in 2001. “IT” has ties to the POLICE DEPARTMENT in Columbia, Maryland. “IT” and other “family members” that have worked for Boeing Defense have been PAYING THE POLICE to do things to wreck havoc in my life- EVEN IN SOBRIETY!! This was expected while I was in my active addiction (addiction to cocaine). Making mistakes and then making corrections in my life (in my mind) was supposed to give me freedom to love my children and spend more time with them. The sad reality FOR ME, is that “IT” also is a Covert Narcissistic Personality Disorder (CNPD). I have educated myself in this disorder as “ITS” daughter and I have learned that “IT “ has no ability to change behaviors, love or empathize with others, WILL recruit more Narc’s (NPD’s) to continue to gather information about me and my two (now adult) daughters and my grandchild, just because he’s mixed race!!
      These BIGOTS have no Clue WHO THEY ARE DEALING WITH. I have a strong spiritual connection and this is how I’ve gained my confidence, strength, and power over these narcissistic individuals. I WILL CONTINUE to ENJOY MY LIFE, as I Do Not Need “IT” or the rest of my BLOOD family for ANY REASON. In fact, I NEVER DID! Neither did my brother! My children, myself, my brother: NONE of us were never really “seen” or known for our hearts and loving souls by my given family. We were ALL prevented from having a good, happy, safe life. All of the FANS, WHO ARE ALSO COMMITTING ACTS OF HARM TOWARD US, will be AMAZED by our spiritual COMEBACKS and so will all the DOUBTERS IN OUR LIVES! 💥 💥 👻 ☠️ 🚫👿❤️‍🔥👀👀 🆕🧘‍♀️✨💫🙌🏼🫶🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️

      May I offer an exercise that helps in emotional healing?
      It is called
      Heart brain coherence by Greg Braden
      It has really helped me unravel emotional pain in a safe place.😊

    We need to understand that the past should serve as a point of reference, not a place of permanent dwelling, and that the future should be embraced rather than controlled. Our power lies in the present moment and in the choices we make.
