Greatly appreciate you showing your product reaching failure. I imagine other companies would have cut the video at 48 inches. Seeing you guys push it to 60 and then giving the competition a chance to beat it says a lot about you. Great company great products
I love my quickdraws, but they are definitely beefy and big at 30 kg, so the Reppins will still be added to my collection for it's compact size and heavier weight, looks great. KG version for EU + the split stand, let it come! I'm ready!
@@REPfitness Please hurry... it hurts having the money to buy it right now, but not spend them... it itches For real though, please soon give just an estimate, waiting in the unknown while veryone else is getting their reppins is painful :(
I had 2 pairs of Ironmasters from 2020-22, then went down the traditional hex dumbbell route, but good to know the peppins are a legit option if I have to downsize the gym some day
Top secret info: it actually survived a roof drop.. but we couldn't figure out how to authentically integrate it into the video. We tried to be as transparent as possible.
Did you guys tighten the screws tightly on the ironmasters and retighten after each drop? Without doing that I could see how the screw *may* have bent. Just strange to see ironmasters bite it at only 60” given they’ve been through much much worse on video.
I'd say 24 inches is the reasonable height that a DB should be able to withstand. That's about the height you'd drop heavy weight after you control the eccentric on a press.
So realistically what you are telling me is that between Repins and IronMaster I cant go wrong😂 i do drop my dumbells but its normally like 6inchs or less towards the end of my workout where everything feels heavy as shit Edit: actually nvm they arent available in the UK so IronMaster it is. Wish Fitness Superstore who manage Rep in the UK had more stock and products. Folks in the US have it easy af😂
Still waiting on my Reppins. ☹️ Delayed another 2-3 weeks. At least I know I will be getting a superior product. Now just waiting on REP to make a stand for it.
We're working on a stand! We'll update this page when we have an expected release date: repfitness.com/products/rep%C2%AE-adjustable-dumbbell-storage-stand?variant=51660124750190
@@fwiffo42 It was also the REP x Pepin. We also dropped it off the roof and it survived. But since one of them failed at 60", we felt like showing the roof drop wasn't authentic.
moral of the story...pepin are king but if you can't afford it ironmasters take a little more time to adjust weights but after some practice it becomes really fast...great warranty too..using them since 5 years and still going strong..strong enough to suggest buying them used in good condition to save even more even if warranty I believe is only for the original owner..i liked powerblocks as well...just buy what you want and can afford to get fit...just don't drop weights...it's part of training imo..i never drop mine..or have them fall on something cushioned a bit.
A lot of great options out there. But for the speed, warranty, ability to expand upwards in weight, all metal design... we like to think ours is numero uno : ) Besides, videos like this are fun and give people a tease of what happens during our own product deve testing.
We partnered with Pepin himself and tried to get the price as low as we could while still bringing the best innovative equipment we could to our customers
We made the Pepins to make sure they exceed our customers expectations. Sometimes if you have to bail out on a lift and dont plan on dropping them they are still fully functional after as well.

I need EVERY bit of equipment shown in this video ,
in my life ASAP !
Finally the Quickdraw dbells are the more solid.
This is true, but to be fair, QD maxes out at 60# and these were dropped from 60 inches at 120#.
REP LABS is back!!!! Let's gooooo!
🔥🔥🔥

So great. Really appreciate the honesty.
Great job guys, excellent comparison
Thanks man, means a lot coming from someone with a lot of knowledge.
S/O for being transparent. Did alum bend or the steel on the reppins
Love the sound effects!!!

Like others have said, big props for taking your own product all the way to failure.
Rooftop would be a fun outro.

What was the weight on those iron masters? 165 or more with the heavy handles?
We put the Iron Masters at 125 to be level playing field.
Good for being honest. Listen if we are dropping these things like an Oly bar, we deserve what we get… now to save up the nickels.😂
How are you guys selling a protein bar before a leg extension attachment?
Facts
@Banana69999 😭
We got hungry working on it...
4:21 "definitely" bent. Not quite noticeable on camera tbf

All of them were properly tightened after each test to ensure durability

If they could finally drop them off at my house that would be even cooler
😂
You’re tempting me to drop them at the end of every set 😂
The pros and cons of the aluminum handle. I assume the 180lb will have a steel handle
No rooftop throw this time? I am disappointed 😂
No rooftop throw for now

Both are great options. Ours is just far faster to change weights. Let them know you want a pair! The more people that ask, the more they will order.

@ Thats fantastic! Any idea of a timeline? Soon maybe? Thank you for the response, much appreciated.
My dumbbells were supposed to be here in 7 days. Got on email saying they will be delayed 4-8 weeks. 😢
Can you get these in uk
All you dudes are monsters, what's in that Colorado water
Y'know, there's a major beverage company just down the street that does brag about their "Rocky Mountain Spring Water" 😉
Didn’t their video during presale drop it off a scissor lift ? Now it is breaking on 60 inches?
That was the original Pepin Fast Series that dropped off a scissor lift

@REPfitness i agree and it's very much appreciated what you just filmed, it was impressive for sure !
Pepin in Australia are so expensive... bought second hand ironmaster for now. Will upgrade when they go on sale!
@@jeremyc1034 Trying to get them out to our authorized distributors! Hopefully by next year
JUST GIVE IT UP!!!!
Every time you say “Rep X Peppin”
I can SEE that you’re dying to say
REPPIN!!!!!
Yes, it's facts they are called reppins, even if they don't want to acknowledge it 😅
@ 😂😂
3:50 absolutely bent
We need the reppins in germany! :(
Working on it! Anticipating EU availability in the first half of 2025.
@REPfitness what to use in the meantime?:'D
Rep. Where Adonis assembly video
Coming soon!
04:43 no!!!!!!!!!
I try to never drop my dumbbells.
That powerblock must have been defective.
But otherwise, that's a strong showing by the Reppins
The Rep x Pepin dumbbells look amazing but I was able to purchase a brand new set of 90lb power blocks for 1/3 the price of 85lb Repins.

A hunk of solid metal beats small pieces of plastic. No surprises here 😄
Maybe not a surprise, but you have to admit the visual is still fun to watch 😆
They can't release in Europe soon enough.
Getting them out there as soon as possible!
I have a pair of flybirds still going strong almost 4 years now. Simply don't drop your dumbbells.
