Most respect to REP for taking feedback seriously and keep improving. You people are great 💪
Thank you and appreciate the kind words. Means a lot to us.
The sound effects in this video were top notch! 4:20 4:40 7:33
I am a 1.0 owner and I absolutely love it. I do wish I had a few of the 2.0 upgrades, but thats just a wish. I am super happy with my Ares. REP you keep bringing the industries best!!!
I just wish the low row had height adjustability. You guys are by far the best fitness equipment company now though, keep it up!
We found a pretty good sweet spot after multiple prototypes. It's a big improvement and you should love it!
@@REPfitness I'll definitely try and make my way out to one of the show rooms to try it. But they are very far, yall should consider making a showroom in Texas!
To have it adjustable 12-18” higher would be great. I have older clients who have a tough time getting up and down from the floor. I’d like to be able to have them lay on a bench and to do slightly weighted deadbug exercises using the pulleys. Or at least have some hooks or attachment options on the metal plate above those pulleys to attached resistant bands
@@user-bz2vl6fl3w With the higher low row pulleys, this should be feasible with ankle straps. Also, while just doing one leg at a time, the front trolleys have the ability to adjust to any height needed.
Being that I am a true 6'7 I am so happy and pleased that you used a guy that height to display the Ares 2.0. If I didn't know any better, I could have thought that you, did it just for me. THANKS !!!!!
haha, we got 5'7" to 6'7" - a pretty solid range there!
Es la mejor Squat Rack del mercado ,❤❤no puedo espera para poder comprar la mía 👌🏽👍🏽
Ordered and awaiting delivery sometime in August!
Thank you!
Looming to upgrade my existing set up to six post plus Ares 2.0. Currently have a two post set up with an Inspire FT-1. This will be quite an upgrade! Planning on ordering within a month or two.
I’m planning my home setup around the PR 5000 and Area 2.0. Hopefully looking to be fully integrated by the end of the year
I think I’m sold.
Was about to order the force USA x20 pro but this seems so much better !
Won't regret it.
Really solid breakdown
I like that you added plastic to the pop pin. Sometimes hard to keep it pulled all the way in without scratching it moving it up and down. Wish i could add that feature to my 1.0.
Going to order it for sure
I want this setup so bad. One day 🤞🏼
We'll be here when you're ready!
*Cries in Ares 1.0*
😂😂😂😂
E-mail going out to original Ares owners. (not rebuyers) If you don't get it by tomorrow, please contact our CS team. It includes details about a 15% discount if you want to upgrade to the Ares 2.0. The original Ares is awesome, but for those who want the newest and best, we are helping with the transition.
Can you retrofit any of the parts from the Ares 1.0? The upgraded plate holder design would be desirable but don’t want to have to buy a whole new machine even with the discount.
Rep! 💪🏼
Wish it shipped sooner than end of Aug, please don't delay, I've already paid!! 8-)
Been looking at a home gym... was looking at REP and now this is released, decision made... Just need to wait for you guys to get it to Australia!!!
Try to bring as much REP equipment as we can to our authorized distributors
@@REPfitness Spoke to Gym Fitness in Aus... they're saying Dec/Jan until they get stock... excited! :)
I think I’m in love…
Rep is awesome ❤ please have leg curl, leg extension combo in your plans 😊
Thank you! Yep, in the works!
Excellent product.
Tip: It would be nice if the foot plate could adjust up, for a true bench-low-row, instead of just forward.
I am going to place or order with the extra weight as soon as I can get the stainless setup.
I’m waiting for stainless steel also when it’s available I will order.
Was wandering what rack was shown in this video?? Thanks! I need this in my home gym!
on the 4 post build with the short front stabilizer feet, is it safe enough to use with the spotter arm? Also on the 4 post can you out in pull up bar?
a beaut Clark!
An awesome piece! Good job guys. Do you have plans to offer your products also in Europe?
Thank you and yes! We are launching REP EU later next month - be the first to know when we go live by joining our email list here: repfitness.com/pages/rep-europe
Also some FAQ's on that page.
Make this type of video for two of the adonis towers combined to make a rack. I need to make a comparison before I order one.
I can't wait until REP is also available in Europe.
I would like to see the following improvements for Ares 2.0:
- Roller for the adjustable cable pulls
- Smith machine
Greetings from Germany
Not buying either this or the Rep version until they’re actually released and reviewed but looks good.
Does the PR-4000 version come with the 16 inch crossmembers or do you need to buy them? I have the older version where there aren't holes on the top side of the crossmembers.
Any chance for a 90in upright version?
The new banana connector with swivel for both weight stacks and easy thumb screw ball swivel at the ends of all the pulleys would be great accessories to offer a 1.0 Ares owner? Any chance you will offer these parts for a discount purchase?
Inlove with this just can't wait for it to be sold in Australia. Do you guys happen to know when it will be released here? Thanks for your time
We try to get as much equipment as we can to our authorized distributors as we can!
Will there be a way to incorporate a belt squat system to this or are you guys in the works of a belt squat attachment for this? Got your utility bench and wished there was a hole pre-drilled from you guys to use that as a belt squat attachment as well.
Yes, more attachments will be made to further enhance an already awesome system. We're working on a few prototypes now, but can't say much more since so many companies are paying attention to what we say/do and trying to copy us.
Ordered the 2.0 and the PR-5000. The rack arrived this past week, would you recommend getting this set up before the Ares ships in late Aug and leaving room for it in the back of the rack?
First, thank you! Second... If you don't already have a rack to lift on, I'd definitely start training sooner than later. Not too hard to take some of the PR-5000 apart. The Ares takes a bit more time to assemble, but we will have a detailed guide and follow along video.
@@REPfitness thanks, need to remove another piece of equipment before I'm ready for the PR-5000 but yeah, for peace of mind it would be nice to have it up before Ares 2.0 arrives. Don't want to assemble two racks at once and have an overdeveloped forearm from working a socket wrench!
Any leg curl/extension attachments in the works either for the rack or for the Black Wing?
Bench and rack integrated ones are both being prototyped. We are close on the BlackWing! We wanted to make something that was better than anything else available.
Off topic, but does REP have any plans to build a leg curl/extension machine or a leg press/hack squat machine. Need to buy those for the home gym and really gonna regret buying one from a competitor if they release one in the next year. Looking forward to getting my Ares 2.0 by the way.
They said they have plans to release leg extension/leg curl at some point
We are releasing a lot of new equipment this year and always improving our attachments- best way to stay up to date is through our newsletter if you aren't signed up yet!
@@REPfitness for me I'd be interested in a new design of the ISO Arms and belt squat. From a new feature request it would be leg press and a Smith Machine attachment. No rush though, if you want to wait until after the weekend to deliver on this that's cool.
will i be able to buy this in sweden? :D
any chance of a new foot/wheel setup that could be purchased by ab-5000 and ab-5100 owners to make the footplate compatible?
When will this release in Europe? Would love to get this and some other machines from you guys.
Working on launching our REP EU division later next month! See more FAQs and to sign up to be the first to know when we go live - repfitness.com/pages/rep-europe
which rep benches are compatible with the foot plate cutouts? Are these attachments you are teasing in the comments going to be available for both 1" and 5/8"?
Benches: BlackWing, AB-5200 2.0, and AB-3000 2.0
As for attachments... if you want to be 100% - we recommend the PR-5000 - the 4 way hole pattern on all the uprights and crossmembers and the beefier 1" hardware means there are no limitations on future attachments.
Can the ares 2.0 accommodate the Pegasus attachment off one of the front uprights without the cable interfering?
I’m wondering that and iso arms
Awesome! Have you all ever considered offering an equipment buyback program? So customers have the option to upgrade from say a Lat-pull-down/low-row to something bigger/better like the Ares 2.0. Then, maybe you all could sell the "Refurbished/Used" equipment to consumers who are more budget conscious, or repurpose it. I would go that route in a heartbeat so I wouldn't have to go through the hassle of selling older versions of gym equipment independently. Maybe it would open the door to more consumers at a lower price rate while also keeping buy once cry once consumers coming back for more? Just spitballing 😬
When is this coming to Europe? Very interested in this but not sure you cover Spain at the moment!
Hello! We are launching our REP EU website in the next month. To be the first to know, sign up here: repfitness.com/pages/rep-europe
We also have a few FAQs on this page too.
After REPs announcement that they will establish a present in Europe 2024, I hope the Area 2.0 will be available as well. Really want to get my hands on one 👀
Our team is working hard on getting the website 100% up and running- within the upcoming month and the Ares 2.0 will be available!
Definitely saving up funds for this! My ONE and ONLY complaint is the 10 pound minimum. Would be nice if it could go lower for rotator cuff exercises.
We cover this in the video. Totally understand though. Some light bands are usually good for those exercises if you need ~5lbs.
You need something lighter than 5-lbs?
Are there any plans to make this compatible with other rear crossmember lengths? I have a 6-post setup with a 24" rear crossmember, 30" front. Would love to add the Ares 2.0 to that config
No plans just yet- our team is always trying to improve for our customers though! Hopefully in the future we will be able to offer this!
Can I add a smith machine to Ares 2.0?
Do the ISO arms fit on the front of the rack? Or do the cables running down the side of the front post rub the handle?
You can use ISO Arms just have to make sure you dont squeeze the cable when loading the ISO Arm on
Will the REP smith machine rack attachment be compatible with the Ares or will the front trolleys interfere with it? If it is compatible, will the smith attachment be able to utilize the weight stacks or will it be free weight only?
No info at the moment on unreleased or possible future products!
Please tell me this will be available in the UK!?
Yes - repfitness.com/pages/international-distribution
What color option are the uprights in this video? Matte black I'm guessing?
matte black
Hola , hacen entregas a México ??🇲🇽
Not yet- hopefully in the future we will be able to offer this shipping option or have an authorized distributor near you!
When is it going to start shipping ? Does the California showroom have it on the floor ?
None at the showroom just yet- the shipping date will be listed on the page when you build the Ares 2.0 and add it to your cart!
@@REPfitness isn't letting us pick the height currently for the rack . It just stays blank
I'm trying to recreate the full setup shown in this video in the rack builder on the website. What options were used?
Me too
Our Customer Support team will be happy to create a quote for you if you wanted to call/text/email in. Believe its the 93" uprights, 16" crossmembers along with the 30"
When will this be available to order in UK and what would be estimated delivery date?
After we get rolling in the USA with it, we'll be rolling it out to Fitness Super Store - our official UK distributor. Hopefully it will be available to order there later this year. repfitness.com/pages/international-distribution
I’m interested in buying it asap but I live in Italy 🇮🇹 can you please let me know how can I order it.
thanks
Hello our Italian friend! We are working to launch in REP EU later next month - see this page for more details and to sign up to be the first to know - repfitness.com/pages/rep-europe
Will this be available in Australia? Espcially the 80” version? I emailed the official distributor (gym and fitness) and they said they don’t do 80” setups but my ceiling is not that high so idunno what to do now.
I also really want this setup especially in clear coat but that’s not possible for Australians is it? 😢
We try to get as much equipment to our authorized distributors as we can. Ask the distributor near you and they can get in contact with our team to see if we can bring the equipment near you!
man…. REP keeps teasing me with all these videos and posts. Can I just order it already😭. Can I help finish up the EU website?😂 We are waiting man!!!!!!! yall just made me more excited 😆

Are you going to offer a kg version of the weight stack? The uneven numbers are a nono for the European market.
As demand ramps up with REP EU, we will make more and more kg equivalents. We will have our REP x Pepin and QuickDraw adjustable dumbbells in KG, along with our barbells, plates, dumbbells and more. Don't worry... we haven't forgotten the rest of the world uses the better Metric system.
Can you have full assembly when delivered?
We contract with a 3rd party service for white glove / assembly. repfitness.com/pages/assembly-services
Could you still do Jammer arms with the ares attachments?
You can still add them but it will have to be stored at the top or bottom of the upright!
How much height does this add to the PR-5000? I wanna purchase the 93” version but my ceiling is only 95”. Wanna make sure I have room to add this Ares 2.0 later on or will I have to purchase the 80” version instead.
It adds 1.6 inches I believe. The real question is how much clearance is needed to install the components of Ares 2.0 on the rack. I have 96” of clearance and I bought the 93” rack with Ares 2.0 so really hoping it’s doable!
@@johnmichaelperez hope it fits for the both of us.
Rep, plz plz plz let us build a rack in Army Green. I have one of your benches in that color and I LOVE it. I want an Ares 2.0 SO BAD, but I want to put it on an Army Green rack. 😭
coming SOON!!!
Does this attachment work with rogue ML series rack?
Just REP PR-5000 and PR-4000 racks.
When in Europe ? :)

@repfitness could anyone tell me the exact dimensions and rack customizations. I would like this exact setup! Thanks
Our customer support team can help you with dimensions! You can call, text, chat or email at the bottom of our webpage!
Any way to improve the v1? I dint want to move or repurchase
Since we made so many changes- there is no way to upgrade the first version. We are offering a percent off to original Ares owners if you wish to upgrade to 2.0!
Deberían traer los equipos a América Latina especialmente a Ecuador porque no se encuentra equipos de calidad para gym
Oh I just wish I had the ceiling height so I could buy this!
Are you sub 81" ?
I've almost ordered version 1 so many times but 93 is too tall and 81 too short. I even considered ordering the 93 and cutting 2 inches off... but I think the cables would hang at that point.
@@REPfitness I think my ceiling height is somewhere around 81”, I have a 4post 80” PR4000, the uprights are about less than quarter inch from touching the ceiling
So... lever arms. Guessing you'd place them below the pulleys and leave them at the lowest position when not used and sacrifice the 4 pin slots?
Wondering the same thing, worth the price of a few pin holes to keep lever arms on the rack. You'd want articulating arms so the cables don't get in the way.
No, the trolley comes up from the bottom now. So you mount the lever arms above the cable trolley
Ok Rep, I Spy with my little eye (lol) those new Rep Mag-Pins again. When ya gonna sell them individually?
not for individual sale just yet!
Can we get them in Australia?
We are working hard on getting as much equipment as we can to our authorized distributors!
Will we ever get the blackwing leg extension attachement? lol
Yes! Final prototype being tweaked then into production. Wanted to make one better than everything else out there.
@@REPfitness Thank you! I will hold off on buying an alternative then
@@REPfitness does it utilize ares 2.0 cable system or is it standalone?
So you say the back is 0.6 extra from the post. But, on your site building out a 4 post. The image shows it having to use a stabilizer leg in the back as well as stabilizer in the front. Where as in this 6 post video , your 0.6 away ? So what is it?
Apologies if anything is confusing. We try to be as clear as possible, but it's always difficult with how customizable our racks are. Our team is always happy to walk through build outs, questions, etc. - repfitness.com/pages/contact-us
You can bolt down the 4 post, which then wouldn't need the stabilizer legs. The 6 post rack doesn't need to be bolted down, so that is where both options could/do have a minimal additional footprint.
@@REPfitness I talked to your customer service in regards to the height max of this 93 inch rack was 93.9. Was told Ares adds 0.9 inches. Your video , states it adds 1.6 " total. So, that would be 94.6 ". Could you confirm ?
@@gunsmokezz The way the brackets sit on the Crossmembers and the actual height of the rack - it will be 93.9" total height
I see magnetic hitch pins??
Correct you are.
what is the depth of the one shown?
This is our 16+30 rack with 93" uprights
Interesting you didn’t show any free weight like showing bench pressing within the cage and if there’s room for a spotter
There is room for free weight- depending on your set up of you bench, squat outside the rack on the front uprights you can have a spotter since the Ares will take up a lot of space behind if you are doing movements inside the rack. Still possible to do both!
How deep is that 6 post in this video?
30" and 16" crossmembers so around 52"
Thanks! Trying to place the order for this exact set up but website just keeps refreshing before I can set it up.

There should be an upgrade kit for Ares 1.0 owners
-Ares 1.0 owner.
Since we made so many changes we cannot offer an upgrade kit but we did offer a percentage off to original 1.0 owners if they wanted to upgrade!
Not having a way to attach the new pegasus for the lat pulldown is a huge oversight and disappointment.
PR-5000 with 24" depth, please 🙂.
leg pres?
In the works.
If I was doing lat pulldowns, I would just be doing a pullup if I didn't have something to block my thighs.
We do have the leg rollers that help this from happening! repfitness.com/products/leg-roller-attachment
Still upset there’s no upgrade kit for v1. You can’t tell me the stack, rods, and pulleys aren’t compatible with the v2…
Right? Just give us the new base and upper mount for the stacks, stack covers, cables, pulley mounts, trolleys, footplate, and we're there!
Nothing but the actual plates are the same. Even the head plates are different. We thought about designing it with as many similar parts as possible, but there were too many compromises to make the improvements we wanted to make... However... an E-mail is going out to original Ares owners. (not rebuyers) If you don't get it by tomorrow, please contact our CS team. It includes details about a 15% discount if you want to upgrade to the Ares 2.0. The original Ares is awesome, but for those who want the newest and best, we are helping with the transition.
biggest con: No rolling bench press despite big machine!
Can’t do squats on it, it doesn’t have a Smith machine where you can do so many more exercises can’t do bench presses so many things with a bench in a bar my daughter has a machine like this, but it has a Smith machine attached to it, you can do all kinds ofexercises with it right pins on the outside and a big ride in the bottom so you can do squats with loose weights. It’s basically lacking a lot of things.
You can do squats, bench, presses, etc. On top of barbell exercises, you have a ton of cable exercises too. That is all showcased in the video.
for those who have the 1.0 can you trade the 1.0?
We will not offer trade ins but we did offer a certain percent off if you want to upgrade to a 2.0.
@@REPfitness whats the %?
Any plans for a smith attachment, and if so, how might I future-proof my rack to accommodate it?
100% - can't say more yet.
