This is such a genius method of practicing. This way you can really start to feel the accented notes in those really fast passages. I love how the beauty of the melody is kind of highlighted by just those sparse notes too. This is so awesome I’m gonna definitely have to start doing this
Gurl, ima be honest: I regularly avoid your content (even though I think I’m subscribed) because I’m so jealous (Lord, forgive me). I’m 35 and such a later bloomer. That said, I’m gonna stop hating on you and give you your flowers now, mama! 💐💐💐. You’re a star! This is one of my favorite piece of Chopin’s and I played it years ago. Keep up the lovely and knowledgeable work in training and inspiring the masses!
jealousy is a hurtful emotion; but the one who is hurt most is the self. i'm getting back into the piano at 31, you're not alone. i believe in you, we're in this together ~!
you are amazing and your drop dead gorgeous. I used to practice like crazy then I took care of my mom with my brother for 13 years 24 hr care and she passed . I didnt even want to play again after she died but picked it up and played . I can still play but I cant do things I used to do when my hands were young. Dont waste a minute of your youth people
try practicing first thing in the morning when you're fresh after a good night's sleep. Don't think about anything when you wake up, just playing. You'll find that your hands have aged 10 years down. Adults struggle because their mind is filled with so responsibilities, and they're tired after work, so they can't concentrate on what they love. try it and get back to me. there's absolutely nothing holding you back from playing like a young star except your mind.
Nahre can I just say, that I have followed your channel for sometime now and I find your videos and shorts truly amazing. It’s mostly a while spent developing the muscle memory to play those notes though. Anyone could do it if they had the patience to start in very slow motion and speed up gradually over a couple weeks.
@@fake10hourentertainment17 it still takes people like her only a few days to get it up to speed. It's a combination of prodigy and obviously the decades of training she put in. It's so interesting you do this! I figured out that doing the same thing with drums (a basic rhythmic figure I can play with) helps me playing with more complex music much more than a metronome does
This is maybe the best piano tip I've ever seen. I absolutely hate metronomes but this makes perfect sense to me. I might actually be able to fix my rushing
I love breaking down passages like these to just the notes on the beat to reset me from rushing, but haven't really invested the time into making a musical metronome... I remember this from an older video, it does sound fun though, should try!
I would love to be able to rush this part.
hahhaahhah

If you can play it slowly, then you can play it quickly

I've never known a person that said the opposite.
