I love the prophet Joseph Smith. I can’t wait to meet him. I only hope I will be considered faithful in the end. He lived great and he died great and I shall ever be thankful that I was chosen to hear his name, learn of him, and strive to be worthy to stand before him and beside him. I cannot imagine how he could accomplish so much whilst being beset by so many trials, tragedies and tribulations. If I could do with my life a fraction of what he and all the other prophets have done l, I would be satisfied. God bless the Smith family for their willingness and courage as they shaped the history of America. 🇺🇸
Sharon VT takes a little effort to get to…but oh so worth the trip. Loved seeing the hearthstone and early building foundations of the prophet’s family . Great video
Love Church History. Super interesting and informative videos . I will probably never have the opportunity to visit these sites so l am really grateful for you producing them. God bless you in your work 😊❤️🙏🏻
What a great episode, Casey. Thank you. Hard not to keep tearing up thinking about what Joseph and the Smiths went through. Looking forward to future videos.
One of the missionaries at the birthplace sight told me when the obelisk was near the monument sight they had one last creek to ford and no way around it. Pres. Joseph F. Smith and Apostles had been invited for the dedication on the 23 of December, 1905. The Saints involved had a prayer and the waterway froze solid that night allowing the monument and team to pass over. Otherwise they would’ve been delayed a year!
I found it enlightening to think about the surgery Joseph received as the miracle instead of a miraculous healing. What miracles might we miss because they don’t seem miraculous?
I have actually eaten at that KFC! My daughter lives just 15 minutes from Lebanon, and we've been to Sharon, VT. I had no idea that Joseph's surgery occurred in Lebanon. I've shopped there many times, beautiful area. My husband's ancestors, the Freeman's, farmed in Lebanon as well.
Wow! Great stories. You can’t help but feel the Holy Spirit when talking about the Prophet Joseph Smith, and the sweet boy to man he is and was. Thankyou for sharing- xoxo
I live 30 min from JSB, and 15 min from West Leb. I wait for the time the Prophet announces a temple here. Just as a note, and I don’t know why it bugs me, but “Con-Curd” and “Leb-uh- Nin” are proper local pronounciations ;)
I'd love to know how the records were kept such that we can know that's the place of the home surgery. Im a little surprised the Church didn't buy the property. Is there any historical marker there?
Before I watch the video, does anyone know if Joseph actually had high-level relatives who went to Dartmouth? I saw an anti make that claim as an explanation for how he "made up" The Book of Mormon. There were of course, obvious problems with his argument, but I was wondering if there was any truth to it.

He had a life full of Miracles. President Nelson said we can have miracles too. Keep praying!
Wow
Perfect Documentary to watch on Joseph Smith’s birthday 12/23! Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah!
@@nerd_patriot_disciple I had the same thought.

Not to be disagreeable but 40 ton is not a lot for trucking now days, they haul much much more than that with special trailers.
White wash history is amazing. It doesnt make it true.

Scripture Central, “curates,” comments. You’re going to have to do a bit more research yourself. Sorry. Good luck.
