Really enjoyed listening to you and John Welsh through this year of the Book of Mormon. You two are a wonderful combo! I’m looking forward to now studying the D&C / church history and this was a great segment!

For non members, why does the English version of the Book of Mormon use Elizabethan English; from the 16th Century?

Because when you are translating from any language to any other the one translating uses terms and verbage of their day.

The English version of the Book of Mormon is the most accurate translation of any book ever written: can that be claimed of every other version of the Book of Mormon?

In all languages, not only those who bias the English. The Spirit supersedes language

Is it depraved or deprived? I guess you really intended to say depraved but I didn't hear that the second time.

The Geneva Bible was brought to America by the Pilgrim Fathers; therefore, it preceeded the KJV.
