Pretty sure Simon Shi isn’t racing: and Wurfy is still on the start list (although he told Greg Bennett on his podcast he was flying back from LA to Europe so he can do the Tour of Hungary next week, but with that tour not starting until Wednesday, who is to say he isn’t having a stopover in St George tomorrow …).
Thanks for the info! I hope Wurf races but he is notorius for being on every startlist and not racing lol.
@@thedailytri To be fair, Wurfy is also notorious for actually starting 6 or more ironman races a year as well. So there is that.
These days one has to get the entry in well in advance (witness Alistair Brownlee missing out in IM Texas), and it behoves ALL professional ironman triathletes to enter not just their target race, but one or more ‘back up’ races as well, ‘just in case’. Wurf’s race planning is compounded by the fact that his day job requires him to be able to fly to and start a Pro Tour cycle race on about one hour’s notice. Hence the reason why he entered not just IM SA, but St George and Majorca 70.3. He is unlikely to start either of these races, because he has now been called into the INEOS starting line up in Hungary, BUT if he wasn’t so required, there would have been something like a 90% probability he would have done both of them. Just saying.

Jackson can’t do an Ironman so he is out of the series. He stated he is trying to get high enough in the rankings to get into PTO races.
I just don’t see a half Ironman only athlete being able to compete. There are just too many points from the full Ironman to make up.
Patrick is so consistent that he will be hard to beat. I would love to see Lionel win. If he can get healthy and win Lake Placid and then win a couple of more half Ironman and then win or podium at Kona that would be amazing.
Keep an eye out for what Jackson does... 🧐
I can't seem to find the womens Singapore T100 race commentary on this channel. Predictions yes but commentary no :(.

Whats up with RVB? SL if hes recovered will have another killer B/R combo to move through the race, but how long can he keep this up? JL is my call for the win.
RVB focusing on T100 + Roth and Kona this year. It would be insane is SL pulled off another one and Im glad you agree with me picking Jackson for the win!
what about skipper, i thought he was racing too since dnf in texas.
He is not as the start lists are closed before the race. He will race May 19th at Challenge Champs and Mid June at Ironman Cairns :)

Not for this one! We aren't able to do every race as it does take a lot of time/energy but we will cover at least 5 - 7 more Pro Series races including World Champs!
