What a great recap! I did this race so I was especially excited to hear this one. About that wind😳...... it was two 20mile stretches with direct 20+mph wind and gusts over 30. You think, yea, I will get that tailwind. Well, really if you think about it, coming back going 30mph, you are actually going faster than the wind so it really is not "pushing" you, just the air kinda getting out of the way for you😅

It seems that a number of the men had flu like symptoms. Maybe something was getting passed around during the pre-event meetings and took out some of our favourites.

It's the swimming water in the Woodlands. It's notorious for stomach problems. I have experienced it myself
