Why do women think men are intimidated? They are not bears.
Usually, when they say that, it's done as a defensive mechanism. It's a way to protect their ego and self esteem. Just blame men for their mishaps instead of looking deep within themselves, ask questions, and say, "maybe I am the problem." The latter is really hard to do for people in general.

I think it's the general assumption that men 'historically' took the bread winner role, so to have the woman earning the power salary would be the intimidation factor.
@@sparra3819 I think the word "intimidated" is misused often in this case. It's not that men are "intimidated," it's more because men realize the potential problems that come with dating women who makes a lot of money and or in a power position.
Take this analogy for example: suppose there are two roads, road A and road B. Road A is a smooth concrete, well maintained road. Road B is filled with large sharp rocks, pot holes, random debris.
Most normal people will choose to drive on road A. Are they intimidated to drive on B? You can technically say that, but it's more accurate to say, they are prudent not to. They choose to avoid road B because it has potential serious consequences. It's a matter of being wise more than being intimidated.
Want more people driving on road B? Improve the road conditions. Blaming the drivers does not help.
They know from experience. If you’re clever, good-looking with a successful career, men can be quite intimidated.

I'd be interested to see how she is once she's comfortable with him. That's when the good stuff comes out. On first dates, most sensible people are on their best behaviors, so it's hard to say just from this clip.

Strong, quality men aren’t intimidated by a woman’s career or even personality. It’s something off putting about the women that makes men avoid them.
Usually, women who are in high power positions tend to be competitive, dominant, aggressive. Great to be so if you want money and power, but those are terrible qualities in a female as a romantic partner.

The guy is very confident, a lot of fun, full of entertaining party tricks, and quite good-looking (but I should caution that as a straight male, I'm not into men, and I have to guess what women find attractive in a man - often getting it wrong, according to a number of women!). His asking her to say how good a kisser she is, on a scale from 1 to 10, was a bold move on his part. It could have easily backfired and seemed too aggressive, but she took it in her stride. As for the woman, she seemed very attractive to me (and again I should state that this is my personal taste, which many viewers don't agree with, apparently). To me she seemed very nice, fun to be with and talk to, and seems to be in a good place professionally (owning her own modelling business and being a model herself). I could tell he was attracted to her, and her smiling a lot and getting a bit "shy" showed me that she was quite taken by him as well. Finally, just to address her being asked why she's still single, and her replying that maybe she intimidates men. Firstly, it's difficult for anyone to answer why they've been single for a while. It puts you on the defensive, and you start wondering if there's something wrong with yourself. And secondly, beautiful and attractive women can intimidate many men, who may fear that they don't measure up and/or a woman who looks that good must have a boyfriend/husband already. Sure, there are some men who aren't intimidated by any women, but I think they are the exception rather than the rule.
