When the Starving Tourists selfdestruct it doesn't count as a kill. The creator of the mod tells people NOT to select 64 for hoards no matter how prepared you are for it. To cancel rad zombies from healing, you need to make them bleed
Just for future challenges, you can do a couple missions for trader Jens medic trader and she will teach you to make first aid bandages for like 200 dukes. I like to start as a farmer so i can get snares, bees (For honey), and chicken coops. Just have to collect all the Fruit trees you see and plant them at your base for daily harvesting. PS. You can check your stats and see how much each faction trader likes you. That way you can see when they will tell you where the next trader is.
Your max health you can see in your stats. Deaths take it down. Use your vitamins and stews to raise it. Basically you should constantly be on a vitamin if your wellness isn't maxed.
"you all said it was the worst class" yeah because we like to kill stuff safely and not have to expend resources on healing we are going to need later in our games. People who play darkness falls on insane and don't use hatches are hilarious to watch. Yep, zombies have deceptive reach, it's why people who know the mod don't use stun batons on this difficulty, unanimously the worst weapon in the game. You should really put points into parkour, it can very literally save your life. The way to make absurd amounts of money is by scavenging cars and making mini bike handlebars. An amusing playthrough so far but knowing what's coming, oh boy do I not envy your position right now and I will be highly amused when you learn something the hard way :D
Hey to raise your wellnes you need to take dayli vitamins, beer and quality food. Just dont forget that and try to pump your health up so you dont die with one hit 😂
Syzen is one of the best 100 days creators. Really enjoying this. I think that A21 was probably the most balanced of all the updates. I do like the 1.0 increase in the difficulty, but the armors pretty much break the progression. Mostly the nerd outfit. Just save all your books, put 1-2 points in medium armor. Medium armor because the preacher outfit and gloves are also broken. . . Make a level 3 nerd outfit, then a level 6. Then BANG. . . motorcycle and even helicopter by week 2, level 6 weapons, just about everything you might put a point in. A 100 days in Afterlife mod would be great. Maybe even the Fallout mod in A21, don't think there is a 1.0 version of the Fallout mod yet.
Normally Horde Spawning stops if all the Players are dead BUT if you interact with a Zombie before Horde Night itself is over the Horde spawning resumes. World Spawns shouldn't be a thing unless they were already in the world before horde night started so normally you will only restart Horde Night by waking up POI Z's by doing stuff like trying to loot a POI that you haven't cleared yet. That is the case with *most* 7 Days mods, there are some that keep Horde Night going until Sunrise no matter how many times you've died, but most suspend spawning if there are no living players left in the world.
If you face directly at the sun, and then pop over to the map... however many hours you have your day-length set to, the sun takes that long to travel from due east to due west. So if you've set it to 18 hour days, it's 9 hours till the sun is straight south, then 9 more until sundown. With a little practice you can guess the time to within about 20-30 min. (works in real life as well, though it's slightly more complicated in real world). There's also sounds, cicadas start at noon and go for a while (i forget how long), i believe the crickets start at 7pm (1900). storms mess all that up though, so the vending machines are great on stormy days :)
I did dont worry. Not gonna give any spoilers if you're only on episode 5 but i slowly make a LOT of changes to the way i learned to play this game lol
For your build, armor is essential no matter how low the tier. You'd need mostly heavy armor. I'd invest points in parkour and save money for scout. You can buy perks from her.
I wouldn't go with heavy armor at lower levels. The movement, stamina, and noise penalties are very substantial, while the protective benefits of scrap armor over cloth armor is very minor. At higher levels, with a bigger stamina pool, armor perks, armor mods, and perhaps the urban combat book for armor in combat ~ _And_ ~ better heavy armor with more of a protective margin advantage... _Then_ heavy armor gets interesting. But scrap armor is just what it's called, scrap (actually repair it with raw iron, and sell it). Iron armor is rarely worth wearing either. Low level heavy armor is a common new-b trap, much like favoring the duster over the college jacket. Obviously this is all outdated for official now with the armor system changes, and will become outdated for DF eventually. The most important stats on gear are not always at the top of the stat list.
@kathrynck which is why I said mostly. yes, stamina is an issue for early stages but this is a darkness falls playthrough and he uses a blend of mostly batons and short to mid range guns which usually end in him getting tagged. Getting a balance between high armor rating and armor penalties is a bit better in keeping him alive. Even on a normal playthrough you wouldn't get a full set of scrap armor but you take or make what you can and replace them according when you can. Typically I make 2 sets one for everyday which is a mishmash of light and heavy armor and a horde day armor which is full heavy.
@@JuanDerFully_ In "ye olden armor system" (A21 or DF), I usually pushed hard to get a full set of padded armor (no perks though) asap in game. And then somewhere around level 30-50 looked at whether I wanted to end up with military light or steel/swat. It's hard to make a good case for wearing scrap, iron, or leather for that matter. And it wasn't so much a playstyle thing, so much as just a very badly balanced armor system. One where weaker versions of heavy armor offered "full" heavy armor penalties, but with weak armor rating benefits. Same was true for leather, all the negatives of light military armor, but a lot less armor. Even versus the higher tier armor versions, being in full tier 6 padded armor at day 150 would've been perfectly fine. Any negatives of how much damage you take when hit, would be 'mostly' offset by actually _being_ hit a lot less. Although eventually, with enough progression, light military or steel/swat would be better. I rather like the new armor system in V1. Although it could use some balancing and polish still. And I do wish that it was slightly cheaper to craft armor, and magazines were slightly more plentiful, so that "intent" would be a little stronger versus "loot RNG" in deciding your armor until high level. Anyway, Scrap armor was particularly bad though. Leather/football, or iron, one could make some sort of case for wearing. But scrap armor was just inferior to an empty armor slot when starting out. Even setting aside movement (to get hit less, and end up actually taking less damage), the staminal penalty alone was pretty severe at low level. It all could have been avoided if the armor types had penalties which scaled with the armor protection, rather than applying by 'type'. Like if scrap slowed you down half as much as iron, all of a sudden it would've become interesting. Or something like that :)
@@kathrynck if it's on vanilla 21 then I agree. The armor system in V1 is pretty neat and I like it very much. As a loot goblin and a hoarder, having a set of each armor is one of my goals. I also agree on the fact that it needs a bit more balancing, like the t6 creation recipes or the damage buffs from armors.
@@JuanDerFully_ I'd kinda like to see 2 of the V1 armor sets "gently" (very gently) nerfed, and most of the rest buffed a bit. Alongside slightly cheaper crafting costs, and slightly more abundant magazines in loot & better magazine drop RNG. Right now, magazines are weighted a bit too heavily towards poi type. Like by the time you finish tier 2 quests, you're a blend of gordon ramsey and dr house, but you still can't make a pump action shotgun :P
2:34 you were at 82 Health, which at your wellness is basically full health. You're going to need armor AND a no touchy policy! Maybe points into the Security Class's damage resistance perks when you unlock it.
yeah that was a bad choice of a house to do horde night in it . a good look at the roof you were clearly to see thy were gone get to you fast to you over the garage . i think those where loot bag of zombie's from your horde who d'spawend YOU maybe have some left in the house check it . don't forget to use all the discount items wen you buy big thinks it helps alot . zombie's do not spawn on treasure maps love the series . OOOO PS YOU LOOSE LOOT WEN YOU OPEN UP CRATE's WHIT CROWBARES think 50%. ( if cane did not change it )
Yo gift yourself a headlamp so we can see the game better at night. Wouldn't be a gamechanger for you or anything, but would be huge for us watching. Always love your shows thanks for all your hard work! Well shoot guess i should have finished the video first huh haha o well problem solved lol
@isyzen haha well things are rolling now. You ever check out glock9's content? He is hilarious and crazy good at 7 days. But great job so far cant get enough of your content. Definitely gonna recommend to others.
I think this is a me problem and i mean no disrespect but I don't think i can sit through these. I can't say that its boring because theres a bunch of stuff going on, it cant be because his friends carried him because i can binge his ark content easily, and im not new to his 7DS content so idk what's goin on
Bandolier mod since day 1…. It’s still sitting in his loot chests at home hahahaha, love this hilarious playthrough, please go forever!!!!❤❤❤❤
Any time you encounter another zom after you die on a horde night, it restarts the horde. FYI. Thats a vanilla thing, btw.
Oh Syzen, how we adore your gaming! Keep up the struggle my guy!
Already know this is going to be another banger ☝🏻
Thanks fam! Hope you enjoy
@@isyzenyou already know I will

Yep even with my level of experience, I would never select 64 for hoards on this mod.
FYI you can tell the time on vending machines. I think you can buy one and put it at your base too.
All things considered, things are actually going pretty well. Keep it coming
Im enjoying this series so much keep on going ❤

I appreciate the support thank you so much for being kind! I hope you're enjoying the series :)
If you do more you should try getting the turrets early they make digs way better
Let the struggle for gas begin
Unless something changed, remember, 11blocks up for a horde base
Im already loving this series

My fav vid yet but its so funny when u buy something and forget abt it
On the first death of this episode, you are at 82 HP
yep, the soldier did 82 points of damage in that one hit.
friendly tip if you want to earn quick cash just break down some cars and sell the parts to joel and keep some if you need
shotguns are great for croud control, also grenades
ISyzen I gotta tell ya for you're own mental health do not try the afterlife mod for 7 days to die. But great video!
Don’t give him any ideas or his therapist may cry
I say try Afterlife, then you can concentrate on what's important instead of shlepping around for the traders
Shesh
ShEEEEsh
The night zombies will die in the morning and some of them will drop loot.
You will still need a bike for horde nights.
Hey yall thinking abt starting a playthrough what class should i pick since yall say scientist is the worst
Ty
Since when as Tyson reach?
Experimental version of 1.1 for DF just came out for Halloween🎉
Is that right? Best comment here!
Tourists blowing up doesn't count to the quest

The added zombies came from the POI you were next too (when started the quest)

You must prepare a space for horde night! Thats now not fun to watch
It's just his style. I think horde night is boring unless the base is unique. Dude is funny.
