Thanks for the shoutout man! Yet another killer review that’s made me want to revisit the Radical Pro. The one I tried was nearly 10 SW points under spec which is a bit of an injustice.
I should buy the under spec one from ya. Entire reason I hate the 2021 radical pro line is bc they went up 5g and 310 was already pushing it for me. If either of you wanna do a 2019 radical pro review, I have 2 for sale now after my recent switch down to 305g land 😁 Great content from both of you as always!
Nice review! I play tested the Radical Pro, Gravity Pro and Vcore Pro 97HD (2019 version). Hated the Radical, I also like pocketing, was a shame as I used to play Radicals in the 90s. I liked the Gravity. Eventually went for the Yonex I guess for 3 reasons: there are several reviews of inconsistent manufacturing specs of Head and very consistent in the Japan made Yonex. My 3 HD were extremely consistent between them. Also, the length of the Gravity is surprisingly short, my 2 hand backhand barely fit in the grip. And the overall reviews of the HD were very high, almost cult like🤯. Been using my Yonex for a year now and I can say I now understand them, not easy to use. Looking forward for the new Gravity and want to test the Speed Pro!
Such quality videos! From the editing to your passion and knowledge. I can always rely on your reviews to make a much better decision! Also you must have a huge collection of tennis gear
Thanks again mate - my collection goes up and down depending on how much i need to fund my next bunch of racquets haha - bigger than the average person, but no where near as big as some people i know
Amazing for slices, a bit tougher for one hander flat / top spin unless the specs really suit your style, most average person it will be a bit clunky feeling i believe
Wow!!! Hope I am not too late to get here. Greatly appreciated that you mentioned me in the channel. I totally agree radical is the most demanding one, and I could feel extra weight near the top so that SW doesn't tell all the story. However, I personally still like it coz it rewards my work the most. On is really on and off is really off. The cost is I might lose badly in bad days. 😂. Still struggling with general 100sqin, but would say both Speed and Gravity are good in their own way. Keep the fantastic content on, and really enjoy it!!!!!
Good morning, I would like to know which racket has more power between the Radical Pro 2023, which has a strung weight of 332 grams and a swing weight of 325, and the Head Speed Pro 2022 with 326 grams of strung weight and a swing weight of 326. Thank you very much for your reply.
Thanks so much for the content! I’m a little confused. Gravity gives more power than speed. But if you need more power use the Speed… something doesn’t add up.
Just a misunderstanding - gravity has a more powerful racquet, provided you can use it properly, if you can't use it because it doesnt fit your swing, or its too heavy for you, then you should go with the Speed because it will be easier for you to swing But it is not a more powerful racquet, it's just more friendly to use which will you can get the most out of - people say the Gravity is not a powerful racquet, which is incorrect, it's just because they can't swing it fast enough, which is why i use the lightest one i can find, so that it doesn't become a problem
Have you tried the Gravity Tour? The reviews of the Gravity line made me think that the Pro might be a bit too low powered and hard to use, but the others didn't quite have enough weight and head light balance to suit my preferences. So I decied to try the GTour with a leather grip to boost the weight and make it more head light. I think this a solid spec while probably being a little easier to use than the GPro.
Yeah bought it a couple times, feel is roughly similar but the higher swingweight in the Pro is helpful to me , making a Gtour headlight after getting an underspec'd Gpro means that it will swing slower and will be a higher static weight, and my swing doesnt take too kindly to extra static weight lol i felt like i lost that precision in full speed play against against opponents higher up aswell
Excellent video in helping me decide which racket will work well for my all around game as I get back into the sport. Thanks. Cool that you gave shout outs to other good tennis channels too!
Hi I play singles and doubles competitively at 7 Utr. I was looking at the aero 98, whiteout 18x20, and radical mp. I have an explosive game and big swing like a mix of djokovic and alcaraz. I’m shorter at around 5’5, so some help from my racquet would be nice to help absorb pace. I need help deciding since all methods of demo are unavailable for me. I do plan on customizing
I have a GPro 338g and 336sw. But it crumbles to pieces compared to my 351.1 XL (Rad MP pro stock) 338g 340sw. Feel ist just better with the GPro. Everything else is so mighty with the Radical MP. I don't know if I can get over the feel thing, though.
Thank you that was really interesting and fun. The quality of your reviews, stats, graphics and the spec specifics are second to none! I have a 2020 Speed Pro and two 2019 Gravity Pros and your comments and ratings fit perfectly. I love the feel, sound and lighter twistweight of the Speed but the forgiveness and stability of the Gravity are just too good. 47lbs Hyper-G 1.25 makes me happy in the Gpro.
Thanks Andrew , honestly i haven't used my Gpro much in the last couple years unless for tournament, because i always try new racquets but still hard to match for sure!
There's just a few errors in the video in regards to the pro stock codes- the speed pro 2022 plays similarly to a racquet that should either have a pro stock code of TGT339.1 (2018 speed pro) or TGT339.4(2020 speed pro) as it's due to the 18x20 string pattern. I believe the TGT339.2 you're referring is a 16x19 speed mp. You might want to check out the new Auxetic Gravity Pro when it comes out early next year during the Australian open. Overall, you're spot on for all 3 racquets.
The note is for the 339.2 as the Speed MP, it's what i have played with, but i'm not referring to overall playability, just the feel from the layup, it comes off very similar
Excellent review as usual! I think an underspeced Gravity Pro is probably the way to go. I was surprised you briefly mentioned the Extreme Tour being more stiff / uncomfortable than all 3 of these. I'm currently using the Prestige Tour 2019 but I've always wanted to try the Gravity Pro and Extreme Tour.
Thanks Matt - ET is definitely the stiffest of the bunch, but still better than some of the older crazy stuff 🙂I would of liked to try the Prestige Tour 2019 but already had bought the Prestige MP 2019 which was more expensive than other frames haha - i think i have the new MPL coming (formerly Tour) but in the pro stock version
Hi AC Tennis! Enjoyed the video and your comparison of the three racquets. I've been thinking about getting the gravity pro for a bit. Though, I am worried it will be heavier than I would like. I heard you mentioned that getting an underspeced one helped to fix that problem. I'm curious, how do you find an underspeced one?
Thanks mate - it's still an advanced type of frame but much more manageable, been my main racquet since the release once i figured out that the specs could be for me 330g, 330SW and still be 6pts headlight balance So with strings i bought one that had a 324SW and built it up from there with just a heavier string - but Gpro cant be less than 330g and 330SW otherwise it becomes unstable - but it's an awesome racquet if you can find one you can handle
I have a Gravity Tour and was thinking whether it is worth upgrading to a Gravity Pro. I find the Gravity Tour ok although it is hard to get topspin and power level seems to be relatively low unless a lot of effort is used. Stability was OK. My previous racquet was a Youtek Speed MP which had sufficient power but control was not always there. Launch angle was too high but racquet was super manueverable.
@@brandon6984 it's a thinner racquet so the frame will flex more, IMO it is a better feeling , though similar and more precise, less free power but at highest speed it will have alot more control, Pro is more for full aggressive player - Tour would be better for overall all rounder and counterpunch
Not a fan, thought it was a downgrade, less forgiving, less plush, less power, less stability, all marginal and maybe not noticeable to most but overall not good for me
Probably the case, but not many 100sqin you end up finding to be less than 21mm overall width, most are thicker from memory which will just generally slow you down
hello!!! I love your channel!!! I want to ask you a question seeing your good knowledge of rackets and tests, I am currently playing with a pure aero 2023 hoop 100, I don't like it at all... they are long and I notice a lack of control... I am 1.95 meters tall and I am a super aggressive player of depth, I don't have a very good physique, I always like to play very deep, I'm about to change my racket, I'm currently considering 4 models…. head speed pro auxetic, head gravity pro, babolat pure strike 18x20, wilson blade 98 v8 16x19, if it were you… which one would you get with guarantees!? thank you!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️🎾🎾🎾
Comfort and feel goes to speed by far if your preference is flex and softness, power to the ezone especially for serving and also spin potential, but speed MP instead of pro may close that gap
Hi AC, There's a sale on the 2021 Gravity Pro's on TW right now, and using the matching service, I managed to get two Gravity Pro's with the following specs unstrung: 313g and 314g, respectfully 9.5 HL balance 297 Swing weight As someone who really liked the Gravity Pro before while it was slightly overspec, I must say, these feel like AC Tennis signature under spec Gravity Pro's, lol. Don't think you can get much more underspec than that on swing weight. Can't wait to get these strung up with my favorite 18g. Tour Bite 1.15 still your favorite string to use in these like you mentioned in my last comment? Just curious if you've experimented with any others lately. Thanks for all your hard work! Best reviewer on TH-cam, IMO.
I have 2 very similar spec'd GP's at 332 SW, 330g and 6pts HL, but the twistweight is mid 12s on the new paintjob and low 14s on the original The new one swings faster but does quite have the same stability, as you would expect, but they both play very nice Tour bite 1.15mm is for my slight overspec to bring it down to 332 SW, it feels like a cloud, maybe a bit muted for some, also just had 1.15m volkl cyclone in it which works well The new one since it was underspec , i just put in regular gauge T1 Fire wire boost, because i don't need to go thin to reduce SW, and it works just as good
Has a bit more power than the Pro, little less than Ezone 98, more forgiving than both , i just dont like aero dynamics of the speed as much as the ezone
Great Video mate, I just bought a Gravity Tour and hoping to get some recommendations for the strings? my idea string is to have low tension loss, spins and control - any recommendations?
T1 firewire boost , don't know if it's available near you, but pretty much all of the above - the only thing is that it lacks a bit of feel because it's the main string is quite firm and the cross string is soft, so it doesn't have tons of pocketing, which i prefer
Im a 3.5 player (playing for 2,5 years, once a week just with a friend - no competitive yet). 33year old male. I like to hit big from the baseline more, than rushing through the net. I’m trying to play with spin but I’m not the best spin player of my technique. So if I try to hit winners, I often shoot em too flat and they are going too long - out. I’m actually playing the 2023 head extreme mp, because I thought „if I’m not good enough to generate spin with a good technique, maybe the extreme mp can help me with it. But now I’m thinking, maybe I need a more control friendly racket. I’m thinking of the speed or the gravity line. But I don’t know which is better for me and which model i should take (MP, Tour, Pro of gravity or speed) What do you suggest me to get?
How do you find gravity pro under spec ? I have 3. They are great racquets, if a bit unwieldy at times. Would be curious to see what Head does for the next iteration. I would love to see a 98 or 99 head size to increase the maneuverability. Strung w Head Lynx 17 at 51.
Need to ask for swingweight measurements prior to buying, swingweight at 324-330 strung, or unstrung would be around the 295-300 range There is a prototype 98 going around, but not confirmed as part of the official release, and from what ive heard potentially the gravity pro (as current) is discontinued for either an altered beam or might just be turned into the MP shape - which i dont think is a good idea if so
@@ACTennis thank you. You have good intel here. With all this said , the current form is great. Finally found my “switch” from the Prince graphite mid. Made the change when hgp first came out
Hey great review!Thank you. Can you tell me any racquets with same specs/feel/control like the gravity pro but with 19x16 since I would like a bit more spin from the racquet. But I enjoy the big sweet Spot and would like to buy a 100 since I had 17years tennis break.
All Gravity's have a huge sweet spot, just depends if the weight is something you can handle, you could try the Gravity MP which feels the most similar, starts at 295g unstrung from memory instead of the 315g with Gravity Pro It has 16x20 pattern , lots of spin potential, sweetspot is really forgiving
I prefer heavy weights an not to much Power from the racquets. I have a fast arm from my last years from semi professionell volleyball. Tested the pure drive and aero ws. But my technik isn t the best and if I don t hit the ball right they tend to sail out with These power racquets. Was thinking about the Pro staff 100 or the vcore 100 pro. What you think about those 2?looking for a control spin racquet over 300g forgiving and with not to much power :) Haven t Played them yet and can t find Demos atm.
@@timgundelach1674 Gravity can still be quite powerful even though they are not thick racquets Pro Staff 100 could have some potential, Prince Phantom 100x or 100p are some options, they are probably on sale now as well, and yep Vcore 100 could be a good choice, but it is on the lighter side
Ty for the advice. I know gravity pro can be Quick when I swing but I enjoy that when I "block" fast serves the Ball goes into the field. With the pure drive and pure aero the Ball was most time to long when I just "block" it. Hope that makes sence my English isn t the best.
Great reviews! Wondering what racquet you have settled on now? I have a decent serve and forehand with lots of top spin, one hand backhand, and like coming to the net. Have largely avoided 100" rackets as rackets like the pure aero rafa have felt weird on the OHBH, but interest has been piqued by your review of the Head Speed Pro! Currently using the blade 98 v8 and like the ezone 98 2022 for the added serve and spin potential but feel it lacks stability without added weight against harder hitters. So considering whether to get the ezone 98 and add weight, or to consider another racket!
Thank you thank you, my main has always been Gravity Pro and at the moment secondary is Ezone due to the serve potential i think Speed Pro is real nice for sure, but i prefer some more free power, so the Speed MP is an option for more power and spin, manoeuvrability but same feel
@@ACTennis thank you!! Might try out the speed MP then 👍 🙏 Curious about your thoughts on OHBH being better on smaller / thinner frames (myth or no)? Also wondering which mod for the ezone 98 you eventually went with (I saw you had three mods for weights at different places on the racquet). Thanks so much again!!
Amazingly accurate review again! We can all clearly see that the Gravity pro is your racquet of choice. BTW, you need to keep doing those killer slice serve (footage of the Speed Pro) on the deuce, they are impossible to return hahaha.
Boom Pro feels like an easier Radical Pro , like swings easier, moves easier, doesnt really do anything outstanding, but pretty consistent and pretty decent in all areas, can't say anything stands out in particular, just decent in everything
other good reviewers said speed pro has more power, but u said that if u use properly gravity pro u should have more power or otherwise it will be better to staywith speed pro.Im very interested how u see forehand tehnique to be good on gravity pro? Its a windshield motion or more flat?
Sorry dont know why your comment was held for review lol, just found it sitting there - definitely for a big wind up , very high racquet head speed, but Gpro is nice because it's so thin, and massive sweet spot with tear drop shape that you can also alternate into a windscreen wiper motion and get some pretty decent spin as well - but there is no racquet (in my specs) that i can accelerate faster than Gravity Pro and get the most power, even if some racquets are more powerful etc on paper - maybe it's due to my own strength (that's not enough) to swing other ones faster, but this one suits me very well
If your swingweight is high and you want to lower it or you want a bigger launch angle, most 1.15mm polys should work well - if swingweight is fine just use any sharp poly Ive been using Tier one firewire boost on it
Kind of depends what swingweight you get, if you get one you feel is too hard to swing, use 18g (1.15mm strings), Volkl Cyclone, Tour Bite 1.15mm would be good - or Tier One Firewire Boost (18g) if you manage the racquet already, will give you good spin and higher launch angle if that's what you are after
I liked the Rad Pro but I loved even more the Rad MP with lead. The Radical pro was very good to hit standing still but when I was playing for more than 1 hour and playing serious the MP was much easier to manage, but I had to lead up a bit. Best racquet ive ever used actually
Exceptional comparative review as always! The Gravity Pro is an amazing racquet and will be a sure fire, sought after classic in future. It is not often that a brand new frame design is so quickly embraced by two Top 10s on the ATP and a WTA No1 (recently retired).
@@ACTennis Betting man says HEAD will apply the Porsche engineering philosophy to the Auxetic Gravity: 1) never mess with a winning design 2) your grandfather should recognise what you’re driving (ie: minor tweaks only!)
Don’t forget Basilashvili. He uses it too, although with a Speed paint job for whatever reason. 27.5” length so slightly extended, which explains how he is able to smash his groundies.
Awesome review. I haven't tried the Speed Pro but currently use the Gravity Pro. It was a close decision between the Radical Pro and the Gravity Pro but the stability and the serving on the Gravity Pro were just something I couldn't pass up. I ended up putting a leather grip on mine, so my strung spec is 340g with a 335 SW. I have 2 of them with that spec (one with 323 mm balance, one with 324) Might buy a 3rd stick when the 2021 model goes on sale lol.
I sold it relatively fast, thought the feel was worse, less forgiving, less powerful, all in some marginal way, it was a downgrade for me, i still use 2019/2021
@@dmytrogalakhov5366 Yonex grips run about half a grip size larger and they use a thin replacement grip to compensate for that, also the shape is different so depends which shape you use, but yeah L4 could work, and if it doesnt, use a thin replacement grip or head you can change the pallet size to smaller if you need so you arent stuck with it
Hey man, awesome content as always. Did you have a favorite string set up in the Gravity in general, or even for other categories like for power or spin? I have FireWire Boost 18g in it right now, and I like it. Saw you tried it at 48 pounds. Thanks as always for your hard work on these reviews.
How much under spec is your Gravity Pro? 310 g / 325 SW ? I'm playing with a Gravity Tour since 2019, i think it's one of my favourite racquets of all time. Do you think it's worth the upgrade to a Pro under spec.? Is the feel that much better?
It's been a while since i measured unstrung weight, but i know the swingweight was 324-325 strung, could be around 308g even If you gel with the Tour, might not be a point, but i like the extra flex of the thinner beam, i've tried Tour on and off and the final specs just didn't seem to manage with my swing as well Thanks
@@ACTennis Hey there again, I have an offer for some under spec gravity pros. Should I go with more static weight or more SW. 312,5 g / 323 SW or 311,5 g / 324 SW? What is the better choice?
Very difficult to make string recommendations, quite different for everyone - what do you use normally? and tension? and what do you like or want from a string
@@ACTennisI got 3 head Gravity’s due to your review and I honestly have to say they are the best rackets I have used in a long time. 2 are lower spec and 1 is higher but I can cope with the weight but overall they are a fantastic racket. Thanks for the review and you now have a sub
@@TomNeighbour-o9o Glad it works out for you, no matter what racquet i try, i havent been able to replace them - interested to see how the new 98 gravity turns out, but i don't think it will hold up against the regular pro
@@ACTennisit will be interesting, from What I can see it looks like it is going to be a spin monster. Will have to add it to the collection when it comes out.
Did you hear there will be a 98 Gravity Pro? I thought I heard you say that but I could have been dreaming lol or any news in general on when GP’s will be releasing or new models of it? Thanks!
True but that'll be common across the board, the Pro will always be the hardest and more advanced one to use - i just like to compare racquets in the same ranges, there's less of a point to compare racquets that are supposed to be different, because the differences could be picked out without even reviewing it, just by specs alone you can make the same assumptions, if you get what i mean
@@ACTennis Oh for sure I get why you chose it. Its just compared to the Speed Line and Gravity the Rad Pro isn't there for me IMO but the Rad MP is. I even took one of my MPs up the weight of the Pro and it was fantastic.
I don't have the Boom Pro , did give it a demo, I only have the pro stock model lol - It's like a make up between Radical and Speed, right in the middle, does everything you want it to do, but nothing outstanding, but is more forgiving and easier to use than the Radical, but seems to be fairly consistent and reliable on most characteristics
Thanks! would of more than loved to but too expensive to get, demos are pretty difficult to get here for me aswell - i thought id leave it just because ive reviewed old previous prestige mp which is now the prestige pro, and apart from maybe feel they should play very very similar
@@applesforakbar They are all great racquets, to the point that they are interchangeable depending on your skill and playstyle - i go with gravity and speed because they are easier for the majority to play with, but a higher skilled player might prefer the radical and prestige, which are just as good as long as you can optimize it's usage
This vid read my mind! I think a speed mp vs radical mp may be a good comparison for a bit of a newer player like myself. definitely will try speed pro though.
I tried them all, and I really liked the radical pro exactly at 48 pounds with RPM Power. I agree that the racquet not shine in particular, but it delivers a good ball with some lightness and kind of modern flexy feel compared to the prestige that I came from. The gravity Pro was literally a nightmare and a dream at the same time, the deep and heaviness coming out of this racquet is really something else but it felt HEAVY and I really mean it's HEAVY (I tried pro staff, radical pro and even had my prestige leaded up to 350 grms) but the balance is kind of head heavy compared to the more classic head racquets and my wrist feel the weight in just an hour... I tried the Tour and switched to it with leather grip and a few grams in the head and maybe is not as aggressive as the Pro, but it's sustainable, and you can keep the same technique as you had a classic prestige
Gravity is probably about technique style, i don't really have those issues as long as it's in my spec range, same as the Ezone, if you have the wrong stroke style for it, it will quite slow, but for the right person, it's extremely fast
@@ACTennis So you switch to the Gravity Pro from the Ultra Pro 16x19? Can you share you thoughts about what are the differences and similarities? I know the head size will pop up first but the closed 100sq in vs an open 97 might be interesting. Thanks for the reviews and amazing details
@@sebastiancastellanos6165 Nah i never switched from Gravity Pro, i've used Gpro as a main since it's been released Just very different racquets altogether, aside from maybe the softness and feel - the 97 is extremely low powered, difficult to generate anything with high level technique, needs good footwork as it's not very forgiving, spin potential is not bad for it's low powered nature, but nothing spectacular - it's just a pure frame that's designed for advanced players who enjoy doing everything themselves
Update... Gravity give me tennis elbow, I don't know why but most people here are selling or dropping gravity for something else for the same issue. The balance is really especific so that might be the cause
Great video! I have a dilemma: 2022 Pure Aero, Head Auxetic Speed Pro, or Head Auxetic Speed MP.... I'm a senior 3.8-4.0 singles player, Moderate racquet head speed, One/hander, SW FH grip, hit mostly a flat ball, lots of touch and good with slice... In your opinion, which of these three would you recommend for me, if any at all? Ciao, John X • Add a reply...
Depends what you want from a racquet, do you want power and spin, or control and feel? do you have preexisting injuries or issues with shoulder, wrist, tennis elbow?
Great comparison! Your review really makes me wonder if I should give the Gravity Pro a try even if I'm used to playing with mid as a junior (Prestige Mid) or small midplus in the last couple of years (VCore 95, Ultra Tour 97). I've never played with a 100sq' racquet and always felt that the bigger the head the worse my OHBH were feeling. Other than the headsize, the specs look good to me. What are your thoughts on the OHBH with the Gravity Pro? Should I consider the Prestige MP/Pro instead if I'm used to smaller headsizes? Thanks!
Hey Tom thanks! it will depend on a couple factors, mostly swingweight / balance from QC - but you are right in general, smaller headsizes tend to play much better for one handers The manoevurability can be a slight struggle from time to time - but what combats everything is the massive forgiveness - so just being able to swing and mistime but still hit some good balls is an amazing thing to have, especially for me having a weaker backhand wing , but a little harder to get the wrist around sometimes when you need to, but very good on blocks and half volleys Speed Pro one hander i thought was excellent still being 100sqin, but you seem to like the thinner frames, which is understandable - Prestige Pro is a bit heavy for my style, but is a good option if you are used to the weight
@@ACTennisHi again! Just wanted to let you know your review and comments were on point and helped me in my racquet journey. I've been playtesting the Gravity Pro side by side with the Prestige Pro for the last two month. I wanted to love the Prestige, the feel is addictive, but it's a much harder racquet to play/master. Gravity gives much more forgiveness and spin potential, I'm probably not physically strong enough to generate similar power consistently with the Prestige. Both are stunning at the net for me. I got used to the bigger headsize of the Gravity Pro, but still have trouble with the topspin OHBH, the slice is so good though. I also was lucky with the two Gpro I bought, that were perfectly matched and under spec (333g with overgrip, dampener and 17g strings). Wasn't as lucky with the two Prestige, having an 8g difference between the two of them, they feel like two different frames. All in all, I am very impressed with the quality and feel of recent Head offerings (hadn't played with Head since the Microgel days), also liked the Extreme Tour which was much easier to handle but just can't stand the cosmetics. The upcoming gravity line will look better in my opinion, but sadly no 98sq model, maybe it the future. Anyway, thank you and have a good one!
@@yatuducheeez Glad you found the dark side hahah, interested to see how Auxetic might alter the racquet, i can't see it changing much but if they can make it feel more stable at a lower swingweight, we have a winner
Thank you for the great content. I had a chance to demo all 3 frames and I found myself agreeing with all of your points about all 3. I ended up purchasing the Grav Pro and am now on the journey to find the right string setup. Have you tried Beckett's favorite string Grapplesnake Tour Sniper on the Grav Pro? It would be awesome if you would create a video explaining your thought processes to pick out your personal string setup. I am currently trying out Hyper G 1.2mm @48lbs but I found that it's too mushy and absorbs too much pace, making returning/blocking really hard/tiring.
Havent used Grapplesnake because they arent locally available in Australia, shipping is like crazy expensive if i were to get them String setups merely preference, if you want a balance of firmness but softness maybe try T1 Firewire boost which is my most recent setup, still armfriendly enough in the GPro and provides great spin, and it doesnt feel too firm or too mushy
@@ACTennis This is great to hear - I just ordered Tier One Firewire Boost 17g and 18g to try in my Gravity Pro. What gauge are you using? I had a TFCC tear last year, so have been trying for arm friendlier strings/setups...but not liking the recommended multifilament put on my other racquet. Thanks and love your reviews!
The wait is over!! Thanks man i’ll get back to find gpro underspec since i sold them and get speed pro instead coz gpro way to heavy when a long play but now i missed gpro for some reason better than speed pro 2022
@@Gettythongphakdee That's personal preference, normally i do not like the leather grip or the extra weight, but it worked very well for me on the Speed, on most of my other racquets, not so much
Hi ! Thanks so much for these reviews, it is very very helpful !! You say Gravity Pro is probably more powerful than Speed Pro but what about Ezone 98 (2022 version) ? Ezone > Gravity > Speed ? And about forgiveness what is your ranking ? Sorry Ezone is my only reference 😅 Anyway thank you so much for all precious informations you share with us ❤
Thanks Clement - it all depends if you can swing the Gravity properly, if you can it is more powerful than alot of racquets out at the moment, but most people will say it's not, maybe because it's just very difficult to swing fast
Thanks for the answer ! Im afraid Gravity Pro would be too much demanding for my level, maybe i’ll try the Tour and the Speed Pro that seem a bit easier to play 😊 I cant wait for your next videos ❤
At the moment Ezone 98, because the serve is extremely good, more spin more power, control is just as good, but backhand and stability not as good, also it's faster for my forehand which is also helpful
@@Tiger-fc3yz The top end of the power as in peak speeds will be higher, on your biggest swings, but it the Ezone this year is more control focused than past ones IMO, so it has some pretty high quality control levels, but also balances it out with accessible power Speed Pro will just be more controlled and lower powered in general, and even with full swings , it wont reach the same peak speed
Great review. I thoroughly enjoyed the Gravity tour with demos, as well as the speed pro, but with an edge to the Gravity, although being slightly too light. Therefore, I want to go for the Gravity pro (i.o. tour), but i'm afraid this will be too heavy (being an intermediate). Any advice? (Most rackets above 330 SW felt a bit too heavy to me before (even a prestige mp for example, while the speed pro seemed perfect in SW). So its mainly Gravity tour vs Gravity pro vs speed pro.
If you want a Gpro you really need to find a way to measure swingweight before you buy - ideally you want roughly 30pts without strings than what you target for, even lower if you use thicker gauge above 1.25mm - or find one measured at the lowest possible and build it up from there My specs are 3302g strung , 332 swingweight, 6pts HL At 325g, it loses alot of stability suprisingly even with the same swingweight of 332, so that 330g is crucial to thin beam, but these specs for me are totally playable, any heavier then i start to lose out alot on the manoeuvrability side A 330g 332SW Gpro is 100x better than a Gravity Tour at 330g 325W in my opinion
@@ACTennis Thanks! I'll be sure to try and measure before buying. But in general, you expect no great weight difficulties for the gpro when the gtour and speed pro were just fine in manouvrability?
@@finvanuum6520 Gpro is thinner beam by 2-3mm than both frames, so if its the same weight as in 330-335g then it should be more than ok, also as long as swingweight and balance are your cup of tea
I'll go for the Gravity pro! Last question; which strings do you use? I have some arm problems, and out of a certain site filling in my specs & wishes, Wilson revolve spin, head rip control and babolat rpm hurricane tour emerged. One of these any good?
@@finvanuum6520 Gpro should be quite friendly with polys for arm problems, id go with any kind of shaped poly, sharp - i use T1 firewire boost, go with a but thinner gauge, and lower tension a little bit if you think its too firm
Another great review. I've been really enjoying the gravity pro since I got it two months. Also been trying a gravity tour I got used but it's severely overspecd/modified (same specs as the pro) and doesn't feel as good. Would love to see a review on the popular Tecnifibre player frames (Tfight 305, TF40).
Great review as always! The intro is awesome! I'm gonna try the Gravity Pro, I'm curious how it will work my one-handed backhand with it, yours looks pretty well.
Great review. If you have time and resources, I think a battle of the smaller manufactures player frames would be fun. Solinco whiteout, technifibre tf305, prince ats textreme 98
@@ACTennis Ive played with the speed I heard gravity was a blend, but played with wilsons blade, the new standout benchmark for anyone who wants to play, serious rec to college, whole teams going blade. I like blade, get crazy amount of control even mishits look controlled, but add a little weight and you have the prestige, which is arguably between the blade and the rf97 which to me, means you can play tennis and aren't just a part time gym/tennis wannabe like many. I even like my old pure control with weight and a nice bed.
Thanks Michael - but i'm unsure to the relevance? i dont think i ever mentioned Djokovic in the video lol - i've played with all his personal frames before so i'm aware , i review the racquets infront of me, not what they should be, and it also doesn't take away from the fact that it's a good racquet Infact i would prefer to play this one over Djokovic's one, because i'm not a Pro anyway
Great videos but you have open and closed backwards. Less main amd crosses in 16x19 is more open because the spacing is not as tight. 18x20 is a closed or tighter pattern.
I understand what youre saying but its not quite right, you are misunderstanding - im not comparing them to each other as a tight or closed pattern, im saying the radical's 16x19 is a tight version of a 16x19 - companies can make the string spacing however wide or narrow they want - look at a babolat pure drive and compare it to this radical and youll see that the babolat has very big squares, the radicals string density is much closer together, almost to the point that an 18x20 would be For a 18x20 pattern, these racquets are slightly more wider than the older traditional racquets
@@ACTennis by this logic you should only compare 100 to 100. I get that shapes are different but I play radical pro and it's an open pattern. I'm sorry but I don't agree but thanks for the video. The rest of the info was prime
@@ScottDreyfus Thanks - id say theres the discussion of how many mains in the throat , 6 vs 8, its not completely universal but there are slight differences, sometimes there arent, but not a big deal, we have differing opinions, nothing wrong with that
@@ScottDreyfus You still aren't understanding what he's saying. 16x19 can be more open or more tight depending on how the string spacing has been designed. Same with 18x20. And this holds true even within the same head size. I have a Wilson PS90 16x19, and it's 16x19 pattern is much more open than my Head Prestige 93 16x19, even though the Prestige is a bigger head size.
@@vwmusicplaylist1935 it is about the string spacing. Get a fucking tape measure if you want. You can't throw an extra crosses and main in the same profile and get a more open pattern. What you aren't understanding is that you can't compare to different shapes of racket. That's why they make them in both pattern. You can keep telling me I'm wrong but unless you are going to measure the squares this is all just an anecdotal circle jerk.
They can space it however they want, so the Radical just makes the spacing a bit more closer together, and the Gravity and Speed are 100 square inches, so they got slightly more space to work with, and they spread it out a bit more
Thanks for the heads up, but not really fussed, my intros have been longer lol, it's why i put the time stamps in for, this is a short vid compared to my other ones
Top notch content. Thorough, detailed, all substance. You are setting the standard for racquet reviews.
I absolutly love your racket reviews! Wonderfull combo of a data-oriented rating system and shots of nice clean hitting. Intro is so inspiring!
Thank you very much Simon!
Thanks for the shoutout man! Yet another killer review that’s made me want to revisit the Radical Pro. The one I tried was nearly 10 SW points under spec which is a bit of an injustice.
Doing amazing work 🙂 everything is an injustice with QC and -$250 to $300 from the wallet lol
I should buy the under spec one from ya. Entire reason I hate the 2021 radical pro line is bc they went up 5g and 310 was already pushing it for me. If either of you wanna do a 2019 radical pro review, I have 2 for sale now after my recent switch down to 305g land 😁
Great content from both of you as always!
@@gregbishopmav Haha dont blame you, i prefer lighter frames
Thanks again mate - my collection goes up and down depending on how much i need to fund my next bunch of racquets haha - bigger than the average person, but no where near as big as some people i know
What is the Gravity pro like for a one handed backhand (mainly slice)?
Amazing for slices, a bit tougher for one hander flat / top spin unless the specs really suit your style, most average person it will be a bit clunky feeling i believe
The effort you put into your reviews is just insane, thanks for all that you do!
Thanks alot mate!
You too mate thanks - i think i just suck and prefer tennis to be played for me instead of me doing the hard work hahah
@@ACTennis ahaha ...I can tell pandemic really impacts. But u will come back stronger.
Just a misunderstanding - gravity has a more powerful racquet, provided you can use it properly, if you can't use it because it doesnt fit your swing, or its too heavy for you, then you should go with the Speed because it will be easier for you to swing
But it is not a more powerful racquet, it's just more friendly to use which will you can get the most out of - people say the Gravity is not a powerful racquet, which is incorrect, it's just because they can't swing it fast enough, which is why i use the lightest one i can find, so that it doesn't become a problem
Yeah bought it a couple times, feel is roughly similar but the higher swingweight in the Pro is helpful to me , making a Gtour headlight after getting an underspec'd Gpro means that it will swing slower and will be a higher static weight, and my swing doesnt take too kindly to extra static weight lol
i felt like i lost that precision in full speed play against against opponents higher up aswell
Excellent video in helping me decide which racket will work well for my all around game as I get back into the sport. Thanks. Cool that you gave shout outs to other good tennis channels too!
Thanks Douglas, glad you found it helpful
You should 100% affiliate link the rackets you review to make it financially worth your time, would love to see more videos
Where do I find tennis warehouse averages for rackets?
Hi, can I consider the same rates of Gravity Pro for the Gravity MP? If not, what are the mains differences? Congrats for the channel, it's awesome!
Thanks mate - it's still an advanced type of frame but much more manageable, been my main racquet since the release once i figured out that the specs could be for me 330g, 330SW and still be 6pts headlight balance
So with strings i bought one that had a 324SW and built it up from there with just a heavier string - but Gpro cant be less than 330g and 330SW otherwise it becomes unstable - but it's an awesome racquet if you can find one you can handle
@@ACTennis thanks! Would you recommend hyper g 1.20 for the strings?
@@itsKotaG Yep that can work, any sharp poly, if its too low powered just drop tension
Yep Gravity Tour could not replace my Pro at all, a little hard to get going but totally worth it if you can
@AC Tennis what would be the differences between the tour and pro besides the weight/manoeuvrability?
@@brandon6984 it's a thinner racquet so the frame will flex more, IMO it is a better feeling , though similar and more precise, less free power but at highest speed it will have alot more control, Pro is more for full aggressive player - Tour would be better for overall all rounder and counterpunch
Have you had chance to play with 2023 gravity pro? If so how does it compare to previous version. Thanks
Not a fan, thought it was a downgrade, less forgiving, less plush, less power, less stability, all marginal and maybe not noticeable to most but overall not good for me
great overview...I do find separate from weight and swingweight that there is a difference in maneuverability between 98 and 100 inch frames...
Probably the case, but not many 100sqin you end up finding to be less than 21mm overall width, most are thicker from memory which will just generally slow you down
Great review, i was waiting to someone compere new speed pro with gravity . Great job.
Thanks, took me a while to get it out 😅
another great review man!
Thanks Pavel as usual!
Really depends on your stroke style, my favourite is Gravity Pro, if you still like the power, Speed pro if you want less power on full swings
Thanks for the review. How would you compare the speed to the ezone 98 for comfort/feel/power?
Comfort and feel goes to speed by far if your preference is flex and softness, power to the ezone especially for serving and also spin potential, but speed MP instead of pro may close that gap
Have you tried the boom pro? Thoughts?
Hi AC,
There's a sale on the 2021 Gravity Pro's on TW right now, and using the matching service, I managed to get two Gravity Pro's with the following specs unstrung:
313g and 314g, respectfully
9.5 HL balance
297 Swing weight
As someone who really liked the Gravity Pro before while it was slightly overspec, I must say, these feel like AC Tennis signature under spec Gravity Pro's, lol.
I have 2 very similar spec'd GP's at 332 SW, 330g and 6pts HL, but the twistweight is mid 12s on the new paintjob and low 14s on the original
The new one swings faster but does quite have the same stability, as you would expect, but they both play very nice
Tour bite 1.15mm is for my slight overspec to bring it down to 332 SW, it feels like a cloud, maybe a bit muted for some, also just had 1.15m volkl cyclone in it which works well
The new one since it was underspec , i just put in regular gauge T1 Fire wire boost, because i don't need to go thin to reduce SW, and it works just as good
Have you had a chance to play the Head Speed MP 2022 in the meantime? How do you like it compared to the Speed Pro and Yonex Ezone 98?
Has a bit more power than the Pro, little less than Ezone 98, more forgiving than both , i just dont like aero dynamics of the speed as much as the ezone
Great Video mate, I just bought a Gravity Tour and hoping to get some recommendations for the strings? my idea string is to have low tension loss, spins and control - any recommendations?
T1 firewire boost , don't know if it's available near you, but pretty much all of the above - the only thing is that it lacks a bit of feel because it's the main string is quite firm and the cross string is soft, so it doesn't have tons of pocketing, which i prefer
@@ACTennis thanks for recommending, and NOPE not in Australia! Anything from Solinco, babolat, head, Lux etc?
@@kevinko7057 It's a US company, otherwise hyper g is fine but muted, or lynx tour but go lower tension by few lbs than usual

But I don’t know which is better for me and which model i should take (MP, Tour, Pro of gravity or speed)
What do you suggest me to get?
Speed MP 2022, or Gravity MP would be ideal i think
How do you find gravity pro under spec ? I have 3. They are great racquets, if a bit unwieldy at times. Would be curious to see what Head does for the next iteration. I would love to see a 98 or 99 head size to increase the maneuverability.
Strung w Head Lynx 17 at 51.
Need to ask for swingweight measurements prior to buying, swingweight at 324-330 strung, or unstrung would be around the 295-300 range
There is a prototype 98 going around, but not confirmed as part of the official release, and from what ive heard potentially the gravity pro (as current) is discontinued for either an altered beam or might just be turned into the MP shape - which i dont think is a good idea if so
@@ACTennis thank you. You have good intel here. With all this said , the current form is great. Finally found my “switch” from the Prince graphite mid. Made the change when hgp first came out
What was your favorite string setup on the Speed pro? Thanks!
Tru pro fire wire boost hybrid, but i think you could get something similar from lynx tour with lynx touch
Another vote for Lynx Tour, it is a bit heavier than some other strings but I find it plays great in my Speed Pro(2021 360+)at 54lbs
Could you review some of the new Prince racquets? Also the old Prince Textreme Tour 310
Might buy an ATS, but interested in the 98, dont have the TXT 310 , used to have the 290 but sold it already
Hey great review!Thank you. Can you tell me any racquets with same specs/feel/control like the gravity pro but with 19x16 since I would like a bit more spin from the racquet. But I enjoy the big sweet Spot and would like to buy a 100 since I had 17years tennis break.
All Gravity's have a huge sweet spot, just depends if the weight is something you can handle, you could try the Gravity MP which feels the most similar, starts at 295g unstrung from memory instead of the 315g with Gravity Pro
It has 16x20 pattern , lots of spin potential, sweetspot is really forgiving
I prefer heavy weights an not to much Power from the racquets. I have a fast arm from my last years from semi professionell volleyball. Tested the pure drive and aero ws. But my technik isn t the best and if I don t hit the ball right they tend to sail out with These power racquets. Was thinking about the Pro staff 100 or the vcore 100 pro. What you think about those 2?looking for a control spin racquet over 300g forgiving and with not to much power :) Haven t Played them yet and can t find Demos atm.
@@timgundelach1674 Gravity can still be quite powerful even though they are not thick racquets
Pro Staff 100 could have some potential, Prince Phantom 100x or 100p are some options, they are probably on sale now as well, and yep Vcore 100 could be a good choice, but it is on the lighter side
Thank you thank you, my main has always been Gravity Pro and at the moment secondary is Ezone due to the serve potential
i think Speed Pro is real nice for sure, but i prefer some more free power, so the Speed MP is an option for more power and spin, manoeuvrability but same feel
@@ACTennis thank you!! Might try out the speed MP then 👍 🙏
Curious about your thoughts on OHBH being better on smaller / thinner frames (myth or no)?
Also wondering which mod for the ezone 98 you eventually went with (I saw you had three mods for weights at different places on the racquet). Thanks so much again!!
Amazingly accurate review again! We can all clearly see that the Gravity pro is your racquet of choice. BTW, you need to keep doing those killer slice serve (footage of the Speed Pro) on the deuce, they are impossible to return hahaha.
Appreciate it Thomas! haha yeah i do, just not for point play the videos lol, it's my 1st and 2nd serve on the deuce side
Thank you for great review! How do you think about Head Boom Pro?
Boom Pro feels like an easier Radical Pro , like swings easier, moves easier, doesnt really do anything outstanding, but pretty consistent and pretty decent in all areas, can't say anything stands out in particular, just decent in everything
other good reviewers said speed pro has more power, but u said that if u use properly gravity pro u should have more power or otherwise it will be better to staywith speed pro.Im very interested how u see forehand tehnique to be good on gravity pro? Its a windshield motion or more flat?
Sorry dont know why your comment was held for review lol, just found it sitting there - definitely for a big wind up , very high racquet head speed, but Gpro is nice because it's so thin, and massive sweet spot with tear drop shape that you can also alternate into a windscreen wiper motion and get some pretty decent spin as well - but there is no racquet (in my specs) that i can accelerate faster than Gravity Pro and get the most power, even if some racquets are more powerful etc on paper - maybe it's due to my own strength (that's not enough) to swing other ones faster, but this one suits me very well
What strings do you recommend for the Gravity Pro other than Tour BIte?
If your swingweight is high and you want to lower it or you want a bigger launch angle, most 1.15mm polys should work well - if swingweight is fine just use any sharp poly
Ive been using Tier one firewire boost on it
Did you mention they will release a gravity 98?
I have heard of some floating around as a prototype but cant confirm if they are actually going to release or not
so what string do you recommend for the gravity pro after all? BTW great review
Kind of depends what swingweight you get, if you get one you feel is too hard to swing, use 18g (1.15mm strings), Volkl Cyclone, Tour Bite 1.15mm would be good - or Tier One Firewire Boost (18g) if you manage the racquet already, will give you good spin and higher launch angle if that's what you are after
The next review could be: Head Radical MP x Head Speed MP x Head Gravity Tour. Thanks!
That would be quite an interesting comparison for sure , also all good racquets
I liked the Rad Pro but I loved even more the Rad MP with lead. The Radical pro was very good to hit standing still but when I was playing for more than 1 hour and playing serious the MP was much easier to manage, but I had to lead up a bit. Best racquet ive ever used actually
Still need to try it but ... buying the pro already i cant justify a second model from the same line haha
Exceptional comparative review as always! The Gravity Pro is an amazing racquet and will be a sure fire, sought after classic in future. It is not often that a brand new frame design is so quickly embraced by two Top 10s on the ATP and a WTA No1 (recently retired).
Interested to see if they can improve on the new line up, if they can pull it off, i'd be amazed

I'll do any video if i have the racquets lol, not easy to get them on demos here
Awesome review. I haven't tried the Speed Pro but currently use the Gravity Pro. It was a close decision between the Radical Pro and the Gravity Pro but the stability and the serving on the Gravity Pro were just something I couldn't pass up.

The new Gravity may be a new shape / mould , interested to see if they can make it as good or if they will just totally stuff it up haha
how did you find the Auxetic version of Gravity Pro?
I sold it relatively fast, thought the feel was worse, less forgiving, less powerful, all in some marginal way, it was a downgrade for me, i still use 2019/2021

It's been a while since i measured unstrung weight, but i know the swingweight was 324-325 strung, could be around 308g even
If you gel with the Tour, might not be a point, but i like the extra flex of the thinner beam, i've tried Tour on and off and the final specs just didn't seem to manage with my swing as well
Thanks
@@ACTennis Thanks, I will see if I can find one around these specs and then test it out for myself.. i'll let you know how it goes. ;)
@@ACTennis Hey there again, I have an offer for some under spec gravity pros. Should I go with more static weight or more SW. 312,5 g / 323 SW or 311,5 g / 324 SW? What is the better choice?
@@hybrid11theory75 Don't think it's going to matter so much here, might be the balance that you'd be looking out for if possible
@@ACTennis Both have balance of 310 unstrung, so I went with the lowest SW 323 to keep as much maneuverability as possible.. ;)
can you do the battle of Ezones? DR vs. Ai vs. Xi vs. 2022. that would be so cool
any string recommendations for Speed Pro?
Very difficult to make string recommendations, quite different for everyone - what do you use normally? and tension? and what do you like or want from a string
@@ACTennis I normally use natural gut with a poly cross, I'm going to demo a speed pro so curious to know what your go to strings are :)
best reviews !
did you find a difference in feel and/or comfort between the old 2019 and the new 2021 gravity pro ?
They are the same with different paint job, shouldn't be any differences, i tried with identical specs and cant see any changes
Wound you say having a gravity pro at a Lower spec better than one at the intended specs?
Lower, so that you can move up, i play at a lower spec than stock and it works great for me
@@ACTennisI got 3 head Gravity’s due to your review and I honestly have to say they are the best rackets I have used in a long time.
@@ACTennisit will be interesting, from
What I can see it looks like it is going to be a spin monster. Will have to add it to the collection when it comes out.
Did you hear there will be a 98 Gravity Pro? I thought I heard you say that but I could have been dreaming lol or any news in general on when GP’s will be releasing or new models of it? Thanks!
Can't really remember about when it's released, maybe next year, but seemingly theres a 98 floating abouts
I wish you had used the Radical MP in this comparison. It doesn't fit the pro theme but IMO the beam difference makes a big difference on the power.
@@AkaAloo Don't doubt that at all 😁
Love your reviews. Masterpiece.
Haha thanks Will, means alot
Best review I’ve ever seen
Great review - would love to see your thoughts on Boom Pro vs these.
Smooth strokes, great review, thank you! Did any of the prestiges make it in this round of testing?
Thanks! would of more than loved to but too expensive to get, demos are pretty difficult to get here for me aswell - i thought id leave it just because ive reviewed old previous prestige mp which is now the prestige pro, and apart from maybe feel they should play very very similar
@@ACTennis Gotcha! Comparatively, would the prestige crack this lineup, or would gravity stay at 1 speed at 2 for you?
@@applesforakbar They are all great racquets, to the point that they are interchangeable depending on your skill and playstyle - i go with gravity and speed because they are easier for the majority to play with, but a higher skilled player might prefer the radical and prestige, which are just as good as long as you can optimize it's usage
I use the head lynx on my gravity pro. 17g. Strung at 51. Maybe I should go down to 48 like you.
Depends on the weather, if its really hot ill string it up 52-53
This vid read my mind! I think a speed mp vs radical mp may be a good comparison for a bit of a newer player like myself. definitely will try speed pro though.
I think i'm getting a Speed MP, not sure about Radical MP, maybe if i can find the demo 🙂
@@ACTennis Any way is appreciated, thanks for all the kind replies!
@@sebastiancastellanos6165 Nah i never switched from Gravity Pro, i've used Gpro as a main since it's been released
Just very different racquets altogether, aside from maybe the softness and feel - the 97 is extremely low powered, difficult to generate anything with high level technique, needs good footwork as it's not very forgiving, spin potential is not bad for it's low powered nature, but nothing spectacular - it's just a pure frame that's designed for advanced players who enjoy doing everything themselves
Update... Gravity give me tennis elbow, I don't know why but most people here are selling or dropping gravity for something else for the same issue.
The balance is really especific so that might be the cause
Where do you buy your rackets?
Tennisonly or Tennisdirect in Australia
Great video! I have a dilemma:
2022 Pure Aero, Head Auxetic Speed Pro, or Head Auxetic Speed MP.... I'm a senior 3.8-4.0 singles player, Moderate racquet head speed, One/hander, SW FH grip, hit mostly a flat ball, lots of touch and good with slice... In your opinion, which of these three would you recommend for me, if any at all? Ciao, John

Thanks!
Hey Tom thanks! it will depend on a couple factors, mostly swingweight / balance from QC - but you are right in general, smaller headsizes tend to play much better for one handers
The manoevurability can be a slight struggle from time to time - but what combats everything is the massive forgiveness - so just being able to swing and mistime but still hit some good balls is an amazing thing to have, especially for me having a weaker backhand wing , but a little harder to get the wrist around sometimes when you need to, but very good on blocks and half volleys
Speed Pro one hander i thought was excellent still being 100sqin, but you seem to like the thinner frames, which is understandable - Prestige Pro is a bit heavy for my style, but is a good option if you are used to the weight
Havent used Grapplesnake because they arent locally available in Australia, shipping is like crazy expensive if i were to get them
String setups merely preference, if you want a balance of firmness but softness maybe try T1 Firewire boost which is my most recent setup, still armfriendly enough in the GPro and provides great spin, and it doesnt feel too firm or too mushy
Just playstyle and preference, both are real nice if you can find your spec
How was speed pro and leather grip it’s that worth upgrade or leave it stock
Oh yeah i hurt my arm when i have to serve alot for gpro while i changed to speed pro i missed the stable of gravity
Sorry Ezone is my only reference 😅
Anyway thank you so much for all precious informations you share with us ❤
Thanks Clement - it all depends if you can swing the Gravity properly, if you can it is more powerful than alot of racquets out at the moment, but most people will say it's not, maybe because it's just very difficult to swing fast
Thanks for the answer ! Im afraid Gravity Pro would be too much demanding for my level, maybe i’ll try the Tour and the Speed Pro that seem a bit easier to play 😊
I cant wait for your next videos ❤
How will you compare the 2022 Speed Pro vs 2022 Ezone 98. Which one do you choose to play a tournament and why?
At the moment Ezone 98, because the serve is extremely good, more spin more power, control is just as good, but backhand and stability not as good, also it's faster for my forehand which is also helpful
@@ACTennis can I ask how the Ezone can have more power but same control? I always thought that more power = less control.
@@Tiger-fc3yz The top end of the power as in peak speeds will be higher, on your biggest swings, but it the Ezone this year is more control focused than past ones IMO, so it has some pretty high quality control levels, but also balances it out with accessible power
Speed Pro will just be more controlled and lower powered in general, and even with full swings , it wont reach the same peak speed
@@ACTennis okay, thank you for explaining it!
If you want a Gpro you really need to find a way to measure swingweight before you buy - ideally you want roughly 30pts without strings than what you target for, even lower if you use thicker gauge above 1.25mm - or find one measured at the lowest possible and build it up from there
My specs are 3302g strung , 332 swingweight, 6pts HL
At 325g, it loses alot of stability suprisingly even with the same swingweight of 332, so that 330g is crucial to thin beam, but these specs for me are totally playable, any heavier then i start to lose out alot on the manoeuvrability side
A 330g 332SW Gpro is 100x better than a Gravity Tour at 330g 325W in my opinion
I play the Radical pro with Luxilon Adrenaline (49 pounds) and i love this racket
Definitely a quality racquet, just doesn't suit me
Another great review.
Thanks - I have the old TF40 which was a great racquet, just not the new ones - would like to try the new ones, but i gotta find a demo
Great review as always! The intro is awesome! I'm gonna try the Gravity Pro, I'm curious how it will work my one-handed backhand with it, yours looks pretty well.

Holy crap believe it or not i have all 3 of these exact rackets

Like your review but Djokovic never touched a speed. He uses an old radical map type. Head mislead us for over a decade.
Thanks Michael - but i'm unsure to the relevance? i dont think i ever mentioned Djokovic in the video lol - i've played with all his personal frames before so i'm aware , i review the racquets infront of me, not what they should be, and it also doesn't take away from the fact that it's a good racquet
Infact i would prefer to play this one over Djokovic's one, because i'm not a Pro anyway
Great videos but you have open and closed backwards. Less main amd crosses in 16x19 is more open because the spacing is not as tight. 18x20 is a closed or tighter pattern.
I understand what youre saying but its not quite right, you are misunderstanding - im not comparing them to each other as a tight or closed pattern, im saying the radical's 16x19 is a tight version of a 16x19 - companies can make the string spacing however wide or narrow they want - look at a babolat pure drive and compare it to this radical and youll see that the babolat has very big squares, the radicals string density is much closer together, almost to the point that an 18x20 would be
For a 18x20 pattern, these racquets are slightly more wider than the older traditional racquets
Tight 16x19, and open 18x20? How is that possible
They can space it however they want, so the Radical just makes the spacing a bit more closer together, and the Gravity and Speed are 100 square inches, so they got slightly more space to work with, and they spread it out a bit more
Hey man, just wanted to warn you about something. That long intro really bugged me, i ffd it but you might be losing out on viewers because of this.
Thanks for the heads up, but not really fussed, my intros have been longer lol, it's why i put the time stamps in for, this is a short vid compared to my other ones
