Great review! watched every bit. This is exactly the info I was after as I play with the shift 300 prototype & shift 99 v1 both customized to roughly your specs. I have been considering this racket as I've never really gelled with the slices on the shift, like the one-hander on the blade, and enjoy the feel of the clash, but wish I had more of a traditional graphite feel and precision on the shift. This seems to be a good combo of those requirements.
@@ACTennis Yeah I'm going in with that expectation, I definitely know when I hit the sweet spot with the shift, but sometimes I feel like it doesn't give me the feedback I need when I don't. Thirdly, when I am back home in Melbourne ( I work on the Red Sea ha ) I live around the corner from this tennis court and have played on it many times over many years ! Would love to give you a hit too ! Cheers.

Another thorough review from the one and only AC Tennis. Absolutely agree with you that this racquet just doesn’t feel that good and I even tried one strung with gut/poly hybrid. I didn’t find it that maneuverable either and the throat is so thick (~24 mm where my left hand holds it) After adding a tiny bit of weight @3&9 I was able to play quite well with it but it’s just not a enjoyable racquet that I wanna add to my collection.

An awesome review as usual. I have had the RF01 Pro for 3 months, with hindsight I probably should have gone with the RF01? as a 'platform' mainly for the slightly lower RA. These racquets are quite unique in their playing characteristics and are not 'Pro Staffs'. I tried my usual 98-inch setup but it was sluggish. @ LOL it just is basically a blacked out racquet with a slight “hombre” look with the tiny bit of grey on top. Nothing special. I’m REALLY looking forward to a Gravity 98 review whenever that happens with your level of detail! Keep up the great work 👍🏻
@@Mewborne89 Personally i like it alot so far, might be overpowered to some people, but I know how the Gravity plays, and this fits the bill in its own way
@ I’ve been a Blade/Gravity user for a long time now, so I’m hoping it’s a nice hybrid with some free extra power now that I’m getting a little older for the days I don’t have 100 percent physically. Plus, that PJ is gorgeous with all gloss blue/black!
