That moment is so powerful. He gets to mend fences with Luke, but is unable to do the same with Leia, so his last words are a plea for her to know that he wished things had been different. He died loving his daughter as well as his son.
Leia was so much like Anakin and Luke was like Padme. Leia was strong-willed, impulsive, stubborn, direct, snarky, passionate, protective, slow to forgive, and slow to change her opinion. Luke had Padme’s optimism, compassion, and forgiving nature which is why he was able to bring Anakin back. I’m not sure Leia would have had the same effect because she was so similar to him and many of the traits they share are reasons he turned in the first place.
Going by that, Leia was the most likely fallen to the dark side. If Vader brought her to Sidius instead of Luke, she may have taken the bait and if that happened, would've taken down Luke seeing how much anger Luke had towards Vader at mentioning her name.
@@celestrio Honestly, if it was to protect and save her people/attachments, she might have turned if only a little. She does have her mother’s strong will and sense of justice, so as much as she would have fought for her morals she would have chosen to sacrifice herself to protect her loved ones. My point is that the way Leia would have handled the walk with Vader going to Sidious would most likely have been either more pleading like a just politician, the part of Padme that tended to get in the way of her and Anakin’s relationship, or more threatening and confrontational like him vs Luke simply saying that he has absolute faith that there is still good in him just like Padme. Vader was moved by Luke’s words because they echoed his wife’s and even his mother’s unwavering belief in him. Leia didn’t believe there was good in him since she was much more direct, serious, and looked to his actions to determine who he was, just like Anakin himself would have, rather than blind faith. In many ways, Luke was the perfect person to face Darth Vader and return him to the light. Leia could have never done that.
They could make a whole show surrounding Leia's rise in the New Republic, how she copes with Vader being her father, and eventually the downfall of her political career when someone finds out she's the daughter of Vader.
Anakin and the other characters in this show were the best in every aspect and the characters are the most important to the show so I think it’s worth a shot if you’re looking to get a taste for it in a different light show than what you are currently in this series and I hope that helps a lot to see how you can see it and how you like the characters

Many that scene would have been cool to see in the movies or animation
He killed millions!
Yes… but he was once a child.
Ah, fair point. All is forgiven.
Luke takes after Padmé: optimism and always able to see the good in the (seemingly) most rotten person. Leia clearly took after Anakin: Headstrong, impulsive, unforgiving, domineering and assertive.
In many ways, Luke was the perfect person to face Darth Vader and return him to the light. Leia could have never done that.
Thanks for the info
Let’s also remember that Vader killed the only father Leia ever knew - a father who was PERFECT to her.
Ghosts of Tatooine
She is really one of the most "regular" people in the verse, despite she shouldn't have forgiven him just because he was a kid how everyone else
They could make a whole show surrounding Leia's rise in the New Republic, how she copes with Vader being her father, and eventually the downfall of her political career when someone finds out she's the daughter of Vader.
There is no forgivness, only malice.

Anakin and the other characters in this show were the best in every aspect and the characters are the most important to the show so I think it’s worth a shot if you’re looking to get a taste for it in a different light show than what you are currently in this series and I hope that helps a lot to see how you can see it and how you like the characters
What book is this from I want to read it looks like a great book
Anakin's ghost visited her in "The Truce at Bakura", Leia learnt about Anakin's past in "Tatooine Ghost".
@@fdjtron1732 thanks bro, May the force be with you

@@Avocado_Ruler nope
If only this story had been the sequels. It would have been amazing, and also, it would have been a goose that kept on laying
Thats why Leia wasn't the one to be trained
Well…she did say to Anakin she can almost forgive him for torturing her but she can never forgive him torturing Han
That last image of Carrie is why I clicked the vid
Anakin,Vader... Not the same guy
Darth Vader was never truly an evil character. He was a broken man with a broken heart suffering from Stockholm syndrome and forced to wear a suit that actively harms him just as much as it helps
Although, George Lucas didn’t think this far ahead when writing the character
Don't forget, he terrorized her with a floating-needle droid inside her cell, too.
She was a Jedi or underwent Jedi training, she had to forgive. You can't have attractments or harbor emotions.
