Man I just got time to sit down and play Valhalla, and got to admit there’s things in the game I wouldn’t have cared for when I was younger but absolutely love right now. I.e. upgrading your settlement
@@SharkSprayYTP challenging? Don't you mean stupid AI detection like AC3 because that shit sucks although there are some things I like about it but I'd probably play AC3 over Valhalla if I was looking for stealth and if I wanted better stealth, AC Unity, Brotherhood, or Blackflag, Origins stealth was good like how did they fuk it up like that?
Yeah I just get tired of people arguing about this stuff it becomes really annoying when you try and share something you like or don't like and people try to label and gatekeep who does and doesn't count as a valid fan of something
This goes for every fandom too. I especially hate the toxic parts of the marvel and dc fandomes. As a person who really likes both it really annoys me when they argue and when they have opinions on something which they consider fact. They also exaggerate things so much(only see things as perfect or terrible) and if you disagree they’ll go on a whole rant(I mean I’m kinda going on a rant rn so I can’t really get that mad about that). Worst part is that some people who aren’t marvel or dc fans think all of us act like that, but it’s not that many compared to the people who aren’t toxic and just like marvel, dc, or both.
The RE community is even worse with this I love all the RE games including the old ones but to say I’m not a real fan because I enjoyed 7 and Village is extremely toxic and kinda drives people away from playing the games
My thing is the ONLY reason AC became an RPG is because the fan base was bitching about the old games becoming stale and boring…. And now they’re pretending like they never wanted the change
That's not actually true. Ubisoft started making the RPG games after AC Blackflag. AC Blackflag was the most RPG like pre origins game, they thought that because Blackflag sold well that making an rpg would sell well
This is why I love the transformer fanbase over other fanbases like on this video assassins creed or just cause or even saints row are there some disagreements yeah do some people prefer one transformers game or show over the other absolutely but there always a place for someone to talk about what they love about a certain transformer media
Transformers is very simple and anyone can get into them and the lore is not too deep the problem with other franchises like AC, Star Wars etc is there’s so much lore to them that even one screw up with it can really make a lot of people mad
They are all Assassin’s Creed in my eyes. I love all of them. In all honestly the RPG games and Black Flag is basically kinda going into the mystery of the two factions and slowly learn more as the characters without actually joining. They are ALL Assassin’s Creed. It’s in their titles
@@lotus_cz4508 yeah I still don't get the Pre AC AC game, concept just doesn't make a whole lotta sense as for Eivor and I guess Kassandra to the gender system really didn't help them get fleshed out characters like Bayek
I’m happy about Ubi’s new approach to AC games following the 15th anniversary - making multiple classic AC games and RPG games. It gives people the opportunity to play whatever they prefer. I personally prefer classics, but I don’t dislike the RPG either. Regardless, gatekeeping anything is always wrong.
Those types of people are what you call 'dick-riders', not real AC fans. They're not real fans if they shit on others for liking Assassin's Creed: (X, name of title) because it's an RPG and it's not like the originals. I'm an OG AC fan who played Altair from the very beginning, and until today, I still enjoy the new games. Just enjoy what you enjoy playing, whatever the haters say about you doesn't define you. Just be yourself and enjoy Valhalla
AC4 was in the same game genre as the ones prior. Syndicate had some RPG elements but it was mostly similar to the past titles in terms of story and traversal. The genre changed completely starting with Origins.
AC 4 had similar movement to 3 but I'd argue the games drastically changed in gameplay starting with AC 3 and people were having this same discussion back then that it wasn't true AC.
@@hughjassman1227 to me, the change in gameplay when ac3 came out wasn't that big, parkour was pretty much the same, only now more trees, combat changed into quite a bit, but I quite like it, stealth just changed from social stealth-focused into more environmental stealth-focused, but the core of what ac is was still the same. Not the same case with origins, the game simply changed genre to rpg, and it just felt like ubisoft were just riding the rpg hype train because the witcher 3 was so widely loved.
The main thing for the Assassin's Creed series was the choice of stealth assassinations vs "there's nothing to notice if there's nobody to notice". With Origins and Odyssey, I couldn't just assasinate most enemies even with perfect stealth because of the friggin' stats. And I liked those rpg games but they take away choices based on skill in favor of stat grind. Edit: didn't play Valhalla yet so I won't comment on it
Thank you! I have been saying this for years. People need to stop saying "You're not a real fan" for any franchise. Just enjoy what you like, and don't consume what you don't like.
Yes! The sad part is even some AC youtubers are guilty of this. I'm so sick of hearing 'this isn't real Assassin's Creed', like they get to f'ing decide what real AC is.
Difference between black flag vs odyssey and Valhalla is the assassin Templar conflict is actually present in 4. Edward is deeply involved in the war and later becomes an assassin. There are no assassins or any of the core gameplay elements of assassins creed in odyssey. Valhallas main story has nothing to do with the brotherhood, the hidden ones are a literal side quest. If someone who isn’t familiar with assassins creed played brotherhood then played odyssey they wouldn’t realize it’s a game in the same series. That Star Wars analogy from earlier doesn’t work either because the prequels didn’t drastically change the franchise and remove core elements that made it recognizable. No matter how much people hated them the prequels still have all of the core concepts that make Star Wars recognizable like the Jedi Vs sith conflict. While valhalla does a better job of pretending to be an assassins creed game by bringing back the hidden ones and making eivor feel like an assassins sorta it wasn’t enough. Watch dogs legion dlc is more of an assassins creed game than odyssey and valhalla.
The thing is tho, the RPG games are fine, but there are loads of games that do the exact same mechanics way better. Diablo has more interesting loot and abilities. The Witcher has way better quest design. The classic AC, there was nothing like it. Ubisoft should have spent time taking the parkour systems and social stealth and refining them. What they did, was rush out annual releases which where poorly received coz they where really janky, and then just gave up on all the potential the series had in favour of making a pretty mediocre RPG.
I like them all... Except Valhalla. It's bloated, grindy, repetitive, and boring. But I don't hate anyone that loves it. Good on them. It brings them joy. And I'm all about joy! ❤️
They chose to drag it out with all those boring side quests, empty map, and a story that is all over the place and forgettable. Can we also agree the animations and parkour sucks now? Along with the lack of detail, and them going gameplay over story.
@@redcobra6016 100% agreed n you spittng fax ion even remember 3 of the main raven clan crew you the map is really bad the animations are horrible even the microtrans are fuckin terrible
On the entire planet there is always just one person who can tell you, if your a fan of something or not. Any other opinion is absolutely meaningless. The term fan is a description, not a club invitation.
And yes, I fucking love Odyssey (especially) and Valhalla. I also love BF, AC 1 and mirage. And I absolutely hate Ezio. I’m soooo used to it by now to defend myself against people who nazi their way through live and seriously try to force me to like or dislike things. As if this would be possible…🤨 They have absolutely no concept of taste. And i mean the fundamental definition of it. They force people to do things they force themselfs to please others. And they usually get immensely aggressive about it, if you just don’t. And I don’t a lot in these regards. I don’t care for those people for example.
Nobody said people who like the rps aren’t real fans it’s the fact that Ubisoft is blatantly adding bullshit to the games and a large majority of the rpg fans are attacking the “original fans” and saying they should get over it and what not, even tho the rpg mechanics don’t add up with the lore, in the rpg games they retcon and or add things that don’t make sense lore wise, and also the absolute disrespect to the consumer when you have to pay 60+ to have the full game, essentially with how Ubisoft markets their games are pay 60+ for a demo and get the rest with an additional payment(ps there will be borderline game breaking bugs even though their filling their greedy mouths with the money they get from microtransactions, season passes and addon dlc, the problem we “original fans” have I s you can no longer pay for a game and play it there is always this additional payments and you could give into these additional payments and still not get a satisfactory outcome like the dawn of ragnorock dlc and the fate of Atlantis dlc and the essentialy most of the newer dlc adds additional lore that make statements that are either not 100% accurate to the lore or only adds more questions with little to no answers, and I hate how newer fans say “were being bullied for liking the rpgs” when fans who don’t like the rpgs comment on a UBISOFT POST voicing they’re dissatisfaction with the game and they get replies like “it’s just a game bro” “get over it” and other statements so this whole playing the victim crap it’s old you can look up on TH-cam and see the the old ac community doesn’t even make videos anymore so this whole we’re being bullied for our opinions crap, there’s no one on any major platforms actively challenging the newer community because they mostly move on, yeah sure there’s stragglers like me who will actively challenge the blatant lies people spew and point out things Ubisoft does that disgust me but for the most part the older community JUST DOESNT CARE.
It really depends. Saying someone isn't a fan because they like something you don't, or vice versa, is absolutely stupid, I agree. But if someone comes along--and I've seen this on the AC subreddit more than once--and lists a bunch of things they don't like about Assassin's Creed, and those things are the absolute bedrock foundation of Assassin's Creed's identity (or if the things they actually do like are generic to a ton of other franchises in the genre, and that's it), I don't think it's a negative thing to say that person isn't actually a fan of Assassin's Creed. There's nothing wrong with that.
@@SharkSprayYTP Sure, but there are some things that are objectively true, things that if you remove them, you no longer have an Assassin's Creed game as much as you have a generic genre game. While I tire of the entertainment industry's bizarre need to deconstruct pretty much everything these days, times like this are why deconstructions are important. There ARE things that are unique to AC which, should they be removed, would result in a product that's no longer an AC game. I do agree that we should always voice these concerns and opinions respectfully, though.
@@Goldnfoxx But not everyone shares that opinion. And what "is Assassins Creed" is determined by the devs who make the games. If a feature appears in an Assassins Creed game for example carriage races in Syndicate and someone is a fan of Assassins Creed syndicate because of that, theyre still an AC fan even if Carriage racing isnt in any other game. Theyre just a fan for different reasons.
@@KoreyVortex Anyone who offers their opinion n the internet, especially controversial opinions, is going to get a negative reaction. It doesn't mean they're wrong, though, just that they have a bad attitude. There's nothing wrong with just admitting you don't really like a given franchise for what it is. We should speak to one another respectfully about our opinions, but I'm just saying that just because some things may be hard to hear, or are accompanied by poor attitudes, it doesn't make them wrong. People should be able to voice every concern they have. Example: If I say I'm a baseball fan, and that I love being in a crowd of cheering people who love the sport, but that I hate that there are four bases, I think the caps look stupid, the uniforms look ugly, the ball should be smaller, that nine innings is too long, that bats are obsolete now and they should be using maces instead, and that I'd be happier if it were played more like basketball instead...it wouldn't be negative or wrong to say that I'm a community gatherings fan, not a baseball fan. (And if MLB actually followed up by doing exactly that, and making baseball more like basketball, hardcore baseball fans would have every right to be upset about it.)
Yeah the gate keeping is really annoying. I’m not a fan of the AC RPG games for the most part (I liked Origins and Valhalla I’m just not crazy about the gameplay) but I’m not gonna say someone’s not a real fan if they like them more
It can be, but similarly without it, whole franchises can be ruined. While the prequels sucked from the purist stand point (never really understood that one) they still didn't break any cannon and kept the spirit of star wars. You really can't say that about the sequel trilogy which out right contradicts the entire plot of the first 6 while also being more concerned with political talking points for brownie points rather than making a good story. Don't get me wrong, a good story can involve politics, but it generally needs to be something all creeds can get behind. The political underbelly of the prequels could be summarized as "don't be so quick to give up your freedom for safety" and the original trilogy as "you need to stand up against tyranny, even when all seems hopeless". However, despite these very black or white political messages, they were able to bring an amazing human element to the entire plot. Sure tyranny can be evil, but what about the security, peace, and prosperity it brought? The only areas that really suffered were crime infested crap holes long before even the republic was established so what does it matter? Similarly with the prequels, you could say the separatists minus the actual sith were the good guys at the start. Sure they were villains, but never the mustache twirling, assholes because why not variant. That was good story telling. The sequels just really don't have that, not to mention some massive plot holes. Why'd Holdo take their largest and most effective capital ship to do the hyperspace ramming if since it's going at hyper speed anyways, a smaller frigate could've probably achieved the same affect? How tf is the emperor alive when from Lucas' own mouth, Anakin was the chosen one? Now we look at what Disney plus is releasing and hardcore fans like Star Wars Theory are finally admitting that yeh, Disney fucked up. Perhaps if that community was better gatekept, none of this would happen? For instance, the Lotr Community with RoP. While sure they didn't get the show cancelled, they did get people fired while throwing a pie in the face of Amazon. Same with The Witcher and other series. All gatekeeping isn't bad, and tbh sometimes it's better to have than to not. For AC specifically, I think people just hated how they treated Desmond Miles Storyline, how they killed him off with no actual replacement until they scrambled to give us Layla, who kinda just comes off as a 1 dimensional psycho?
Imma be honest i needed to see this video i always used the argument your not a real ac fan if you like the rpg ones and i was wrong and i want to thank you guys for helping me realize that.
So called AC "fans" are one of many reasons why I grew to hate Ezio. Liie really, Ezio fanboys are the most toxic part of AC community. They took away my love for the character, and now I genuinely despise him (maybe excluding Ezio from Revelations, since he seems to receive a bit of backlash and apparently is less likeable than his younger self for his more level-headed approach). I try my best to not care, I enjoy most AC titles, but once in a while some Ezio fanboy does appear outta nowhere and calls me "fake AC fan" for not liking Ezio and enjoying Odyssey and Valhalla. Duh...
I love origins and Valhalla the only thing that I like about Odyssey was at the close end was when Kassandra or alexios saw a vision of the their actions in the events of every assassin we've played as and seeing that made me cry.
I used to be one of those people who didn't like the RPG style AC games but then AC Origins was free on Game Pass and I loved it. So much so I played through the story twice, completed it 100% both times, and I'd say it'd my second fav AC game.
Oh I'm sorry that it doesn't make sense that they made prequels to the origins of Assassin Creed pardon me for having an opinion or god forbid voice it on the internet
I played AC 3 and 4 about 11 years ago and loved them and I'm only just now getting into the series again so I've been looking online to get an idea of general opinions of the series to decide how to tackle it. This is a discussion I've discovered among most fans that have liked the series from the beginning. It's really strange how so many "fans" can't stand the series they claim to be a fan of. They go so far as to say some are trash because of this animation or that lack of social stealth or that ridiculous ability...instead of just appreciating the fact that they are all really good games with some differences that not everyone is guaranteed to like.
I think the first four are the main assassin's creed games. They all connect and wrap up very well. The rest in my eyes are just anthology games. I'm hoping mirage has more of a connection to the first four games than the last games we've gotten.
@rafabuda0 AcIII went in a completely different direction. Instead of picking up with Shao Jun they went to Conner instead. Revelations was the last good and proper ac game in my opinion.
The problem with odyssey for example that lets say black flag doesn’t have, it that yes black flag is a pirate game, but very much an Assassins creed game as well. Story wise it’s about a pirate who becomes an assassin. You’re hunting Templars, there is social stealth, you have hidden blades, poison darts, smoke bombs, you can play fully in stealth if you want too and you can happily parkour across the rooftops in cities. Yeah at fave value it’s very much a pirate game, but deep down it’s also very much an assassins creed game that respects the lore While odyssey doesn’t really have that, it’s set before the founding of the hidden ones, the antagonists aren’t the order of the ancients. You have no hidden blades, stealth isn’t encouraged and it’s very clear it wants to be something else other than assassins creed game from its gameplay and how it butchers the lore. I’m not even an ezio trilogy purist, I enjoy every AC game to a degree but for me to enjoy odyssey I have to remove from my head that it’s an AC game, considering if I do, the game feels outright offensive to the series. Origins never gets the same hate compared to the other RPG entries, and with a game about the origins of the assassins with no dialogue options playing an the OG assassin I wonder why
I think the problem with AC is the fans themselves, the reason why they made Assassin's Creed into an RPG is because of the fans themselves, the ones who force Ubi to make innovations are the fans themselves who reject the Assassin's Creed formula and always demand something new because they are a AAA company.
This is very good video on Assassin's creed fan base in general, it reminded me and I remind myself quite often whenever there's a big hate on newer ac games that like you guys said "they are not like the original" but if I remember correctly it was either when black flag or unity/rogue came out, everyone was saying that ac stays the same and if they want to stay on the map they have to change. Origins comes out and yes a lot of people like it but a lot also say "Oh this is not ac" same with valhalla and odyssey, who know maybe they are the real fake fans to be so narrow minded ^^
The whole "you're not a real fan" thing is so old and annoying. Hear it with games, movies, sports, etc. If you like something, you're a fan. We need to stop gatekeeping and telling others how to be "fans"
They try to change the gameplay once after three or four games. The first one had more of a platformer feeling while Ezio Trilogy introduced so much mechanics that live up to this day. The Kenway Saga was the peak of the franchise with the fluid animations, full-on Arkham style combat and naval portion that even in ACIII is aready good. Then the Initiate Duology tried... something. RPG Trilogy has Origins which is really good, but Odyssey and Valhalla i can't even consider them mainline games, they're high budget spinnoffs with references of the main franchise in it. It's to a point that if Mirage is a turn-based RPG, i would't even be surprised.
to add onto your point I also hate when people say “well, that’s YOUR opinion” like that somehow invalidates you for feeling that way. and I hate when people are overtly negative about someone liking a specific game and try to make them not like it, or just can’t handle that someone says it’s their favorite. I see that all the time regarding arkham knight, no matter where you go if someone simply says “arkham knight’s my favorite” then there’s always someone being negative about it and trying to shame them for it being their favorite and then they go on and on about the same negative stuff you hear all the time about arkham knight. it’s so annoying, then they try to say well “you’re wrong bc arkham city’s the best” like dude who cares if arkham knight’s their fav and arkham city’s yours, there’s no need for the negativity all bc they said this, or that is their favorite. no one’s wrong bc they like something different than you
Well I remember defending Odyessy and was told: Don’t bother to be a part of the franchise. This toxicity needs to change. And I remember reading some people commenting: please Ubisoft XYZ don’t touch AC ever again. It’s BS like this that makes me frustrated sometimes. Thank you for giving us fans a voice.
Everyone wants the original style, but the combat was objectively worse I didn't think it was fun just hitting the counter button, I do miss actually being an assassin
I just think the quality of stories and lore was better up to origins. I think it started to drop off around unity but got really bad at odyssey. Personally I get more enjoyment with immersion so unity and black flag are my favorites because I felt the most immersed. Valhalla and odyssey would be better if the story was more of a focus or they just labeled them as spin offs. The reason people say rpg fans aren’t real fans is because many if them aren’t fans of assassins or templars, they are fans of “slaying demons”. Yes they are fans of new ac games but they aren’t the same fans that would cosplay as ezio, or Elise from unity. It would be like somone saying they are a Star Wars fan but the only Star Wars thing they saw was the Christmas special. Like they aren’t fans of the same things or for the same reasons. The guys on this channel aren’t the “rpg” fans I talk about. I talk about the people who buy all the time savers and only buy the game to try out hunting a Minotaur or using iron man armor. What “real fans” are afraid of is the game Turing into a mobile game for rpg whales. Also this is not to hate on the rpg games it’s to clear up a common straw man argument I see. I have 500hrs on Valhalla and lots of hours on odyssey but I also have eyes and can see what is trying to be done.
The bar change could be because in series like star wars and AC many people objectively dislike the direction the series go, as in the series gets worse and worse we miss even the Games we didn't like. Like in comparison, they were amazing. But we didn't know it would get worse. By "we" I mean people that dislike the rpg games
Think the issue with newer rpg games is they don't "feel" like older games to some fans, I don't think the RPG elements themselves are the issue. When I went through a few hours of Odyssey, none of it felt like it tied to older games in a significant way. I ran in and fought and did big damage numbers and walked away like nothing happened (and that multiple ending thing is a whole other can of worms). Which is fine in some games, but it's not reminiscent of older games where getting spotted by even one guard in missions meant getting desynchronized and where stealth was encouraged, both the traditional "hide behind walls" type and the "blend in with crowds" type that was dripping with what made AC popular. Odyssey was fine(ish) as its own RPG, but it wasn't an AC game to me by any stretch of the imagination, and I think that's why people say fans of the RPG games aren't real AC fans - because some of those RPG AC games don't feel like actual AC games. It's not really a valid excuse, but it's another perspective I wanted to bring up here at least
We have to be realistic here. Assassins creed isn't assassins creed anymore. Just because it is sold under the same title, they aren't assassins creed. They heavily changed the games, so that it has barely something to do with assassins creed. It turned into a open rpg game with the common rpg system. And yes, an rpg game is a total differente genre of games than the original assassins creed. Which makes it something else. So, you can be a true fan of "classic" assassins creed and still like the new ones, but to say that it is still assassins creed is just wrong. You can argue against that, but no matter what the argument is, I can see with my own two eyes what assassins creed came to be. I can look at the gameplay and compare them, and these are different games. That's it.
Some random loser : “Argh! There’s too many things to do in Odyssey!” “The combat is too easy! Make it harder!!” Also him : “Valhalla’s too dry and boring, wish there were more things to do.” “The combat is too hard and complicated!!”
I’m starting to enjoy the newer games for what they are. But I’ll play the Ezio Collection if I want the old experience. The newer games bring me enjoyment. I loved Unity when it was most hated that game was fun
Tribalism will always be with us. But it has been particularly bad in recent years. The gaming community can be vicious to the point of alienating long-time fans and discouraging newcomers. Getting mean and nasty about fiction. Really? Unfortunately, AC seems to bring out the asshole in certain personality types. Any dissenting opinions are treated with suspicion, at best, and vitriol at worst. I once answered a Ubi fan poll question about which a Assassin I would want with me in a fight. I picked Arno. 20+ replies from the Ezio camp shouting how wrong I was, traitorous even. It didn’t dissuade me from playing the games, or take away from my enjoyment. But the same can’t be said for everyone who receives that kind of treatment. I’d still pick Arno. Live with it.
Arno would be the right choice. He's centuries into the future with better technology. Like Long Range Muskets that could simply snipe an enemy. Also the Phantom Blade is a superior version of the Crossbow and Arno's Eagle Vision is more powerful. Ezio is a legend but's he's not the end all be all. All of the Assassins Post-Ezio would kick his ass with better tech and better newer techniques. Connor, Shay and Arno would kick his ass. Edward as a Pirate would kick Ezio's ass.
Small comment re: the point at 5:40 about the 'AC formula was perfect and shouldn't change' argument. As a fan of specifically the first for AC games, imo they had a formula that was very good but never managed to perfect it. And rather than ever developing a game that managed to deliver on the potential of that formula they kept 'innovating' in ways that made the game worse. Caveats are that I stopped playing after Syndicate, so I don't really have an opinion on the games that are in the 'new, rpg style' ACs
Honestly the thing I hate most in fandoms is gatekeeping I like AC4, AC Unity, AC Origins and Odyssey. I have to get around to playing the oldest and also Valhalla at some point (Sans Syndicate, fuck Syndicate IMHO, but if people can find things they like in it go them) But for me AC's biggest and most overarching drive is the HIstorical Settings of the games, every game succeeds at it (Albiet to varying degrees), and how they recreate these bygone eras and makes them feel lived in. By the time Origins and Odyssey happened, Egypt and Greece already had ancient (relative to the people living then) histories and legends, and both settings convey that very well AC Unity's Paris was extremely well designed and the game itself was pushing technology far ahead of it's time (So much so AC hasn't really gotten back to the graphical/Level of detail of Unity's enviromrents and lighting with Valhalla getting closest), the main knock against Unity's Paris is how Arno's pathing can get a bit funky when parkouring due to how MUCH small detail there is.
I loved every assassins creed game(the mainline entries, never played the side scroller versions) , except for Valhalla, it's the only game that never clicked with me, idk if it's the gameplay or the abundance of filler content stretching way to much over the course of the game, but i did like the whole viking vibe of it.
I was one of the people that would easily tell you if you enjoy the RPG’s your not a real AC Fan, but after playing through Origins and Odyssey I came to the realization that why can’t we have both. Prioritize Stealth and Parkour, bring back the very fast movements from Unity, Syndicate and to be Mirage, have big maps that are more dense like the old games that again prioritize Stealth and Parkour, bring back Blackbox kills and all the tradition Stealth Missions with twists and improvements. Keep the RPG aspect but keep the Assassins Armor and nothing else *Thats my opinion* Have Combat be very Hard but have a huge skill tree for it so that it won’t get as hard as you improve but make it known that Stealth is the First way to play *I could be biased bout that but that’s how I feel, it’s an Assassin Game* Have more story driven stories because I don’t think anybody really likes the new type of Story Games, I could be wrong. I can easily see the Perfect sweet spot that would make everyone very happy and stay true with the Assassins Creed I fell in love with and the new I appreciate and enjoy. Thoughts??
Unity had such a fantastic climbing system, really got the crouching down and on top of all of that, it was able to innovate downward momentum into the climbing outside of just improving verticality. The idea to hold a button to climb down instead of having to awkwardly drop from ledge to ledge was great. I still find it odd that there could have very easily been more crossover with Rogue later on, given the Shay is pretty much the catalyst for Arno's life, but they just didn't follow up. I have seen some really cool ideas for a sequel to unity and Rogue that ties them more together along with Assassin's Creed 3, given what happened to the American Brotherhood because of Shay and the Templars, But it seems to be one of those really great fan ideas that for some reason Ubisoft doesn't want to take anywhere.
I'm a lore nut stay with the lore you create or at least tie together in the game so I understand new lore. I was part of the community of the lore is wrong for ac Odyssey and valhalla till I watched an ac iceberg video. In the video it's pointed out in ac2 the statues of the 7 great assassin's most was before ac origins. Also in ac revelations altiairs journal he writes something to the effect that the "Templars order have always existed in some form or another and like the Order the Brotherhood wasn't publicly known till the dark ages. Like the Order the Brotherhood has always been around in some form or another probably since the beginning on man" idk if that's the exact quote but I'm close enough. After hearing that it gave me a new perspective on the games made me want to finish valhalla which I'm close to doing now. Another great topic fellas.
I don't see Odyssey and Valhalla as AC games, I love them as a Greek demigod game and a viking game with AC references. I'm very happy to see them return to formula even in the slightest. My favorite game was AC3 so I just want the simplicity of the originals, plus more time to focus on story.
As a Real True Assassin Creed Fan who played all the games except the Spin-Offs/DLC, I agree with everything you said as I’m still playing through the story of Valhalla 😎👍🏽💯
The thing with AC for me is that I enjoyed the premise and the idea of playing as an assassin. In my personal opinion the first and the second game captured that feeling better than the other games, or maybe thats what I felt when I played them so many years ago. The new games dont capture that feeling, but that doesnt mean that you cant enjoy them. Me personally, I didnt, but I can see why many people did. Take Black Flag for example. Was it a pure ac game? No, but it was fun as hell to play and Edward was so likable. I played more Black Flag than any other ac game to date. To conclude, I think AC lost its soul and doesnt know what to be anymore.
I think you hit the nail on the head with the "you can just not like something" part. I think the internet (specifically YT and Twitter) drastically reduced people's ability to have a conversation or discussion about something. because everything is split into "thumbs up / thumbs down" and titles of "why I LOVE AC:Valhalla" or "why i HATE AC:Valhalla". There's just no nuance to the discussion anymore, its always black and white. When in reality its more like "Why AC: Valhalla isn't for more, but is an objectively good game" I miss the old AC gameplay, i hope Mirage brings it back successfully. Does that make the RPG ones bad games? no ofcourse not. Does it make fans of them "not real AC fans". Nope, the game still carries the AC name afterall. It's something i've noticed a lot and is a reason why my TH-camr watch list drastically reduced. I can't deal with people who think everything is love / hate. Shit / perfect anymore. There are games, films, books that are objectively bad but just so much fun to play. It's kind of why i hate the "its so bad its good" phrase. Like, is it really bad if in the end its good?
One exception...people who jumped on with 'Origins' or only played the RPG trilogy and think they know everything! NO LIE...i made a comment on a video talking about how i wasn't a fan of 'Odyssey' because it wasn't Assassin/Hidden Ones focused, it undermined the very game that came before it ('Origins' setting up the Assassins), leaned way too much into mythology, the real-world continuity issue of Kassandra(the canon protagonist) competing in the Olympics, the real-world continuity issue of when the pyramids and sphinx were built, and how just overall it didn't have a good story. However, I did also state how beautiful the game looked and how if it wasn't connected to the Assassin's Creed frachise, it would have been a decent "mythology game set during the Peloponnesian War". Someone replied telling me i had no idea what i was talking about and how 'Odyssey' was "the best game ever made". So i started going off about how the Assassin's weren't even involved, the map was so large that you could see where they had copy and pasted camps over and over again, and how it wasn't even the best RPG ever made, much less the best game ever made overall. They said i wasn't a "true fan of the franchise" like they were. I told them that i had been playing since 2007 with the first game. That to that day, the only games i had ever bought on the day they came out were: 2, 'Brotherhood', 'Revalations', 3, 4, and 'Rogue'. I had read the novels and the comics. And that the one and only tattoo i had was the Assassin logo in white ink on my ring finger... They came back and said they jumped on with 'Origins' and enjoyed it, so then played 'Odyssey' and loved it so much that they would try 'Black Flag' because they'd "heard so many rave reviews about it" but then stopped because they couldn't get into it... ..... I've never wanted to reach through a screen and strangle someone so badly
I hate the new games, but I wish they weren't ac games, maybe if they didn't attatch the AC brand to them people wouldn't complain. But they did and people don't like them because they are completely different to the other games. Unity is very different to the originals and that game is fantastic. These three "rpg" games just took it way too far and that's what makes alot of og fans mad. Now it's just a generic fantasy game with the AC title and not really an AC game like the others. I don't care if people like them but they really aren't ac games. Edit: I love black flag but I don't think it's an AC game, to me black flag was always a stand alone pirate game so they could have removed the ac title and it would have been fine. If ubisoft stayed with the gameplay of unity I would have been ecstatic and happy but they really botched the release.
As soon as the game tone shifted after desmond died in AC 3. I knew AC wouldn't be the same as the trilogy I really liked going forward. I'm a huge fan of the kenway saga, and Ezios trilogy. (I personally include Unity as part of the Kenway saga in my own head) simply because of the connection to rogue. It was once we got syndicate that I noticed the series was TOTALLY changing, it's characters, it's tone, it's gameplay loop and style. It gravitated even more towards the rpg aspects. Then we had that 1 year break, and we got Origins! It was jarring at first, "how do you make an assassins creed game set before the assassins even existed??" Is what I asked myself. The gameplay change threw me for a loop. I still enjoyed what they did with origins, it's a very satisfying story. All be it not as contained and focused as the original stories due to the massive size of the map, and things to do in it. A lot of people really are hating on the new rpg style assassins creed, but these games have their own die hard fans, and respectfully so. I think origins and valhalla are respectable "Assassins Creed games" in my own head the only game I had a problem with was Odyssey. The beautiful thing about how I felt about odyssey is that I didn't feel like I had to trash other people who DID enjoy the game, because it seemed fun it's own way! Maybe not the assassin fantasy way, but the game did catch a lot of people's attention, in all honesty i just skipped odyssey, never touched it, because i knew i wouldnt enjoy that setting. I love that ubisoft experimented with the rpg style! I'm so excited to see how they handle the classic AC style on all this new and advanced hardware. I'm excited for assassins creed mirage because I love the way ubisoft is always experimenting with this IP. I think Mirage could be a very very fun experience. That feels very familiar to what we know and love, but throws some new stuff in there to keep us on our toes, thank you for reading if you did! I love this series, and the community behind it! All of this is my own opinion and by no means is it meant to demean or degrade any one else's.
The thing about me is that I try to like most entertainment stuff as much as I can tolerate such as movies, games, art, comic books and books in general, because I already have a very bleak outlook on life as is. So to try and hate or dislike a piece of entertainment, no matter its quality or specific reputation, is just dumb in my opinion and its kind of why I get upset with people if they just say that they don't like something because of "reasons" as it feels they don't even try to see something positive in it, even if it is an arguably bad piece of entertainment. This is why I like every Assassin's creed game which I have played so far; which is every game except 1, Valhalla, the chronicle stuff and some dlcs; I might not like all of them equally, but I still find value in playing all of these games despite their individual problems and peoples' perceptions of these games and other media. The only time I find it acceptable for people to pretty much inanimously hate a form of entertainment or media is when the actual creator/s itself hate the thing they have created or disregard their own creation and preestablished lore in order to either further some form of agenda by corrupting or destroying the IP they have created; or when an independent company or business uses a prestablished IP to legally do the same thing in the previous point, but with more exploitation. I also believe it should be blatantly clear that this is the case if people start trashing the specific IP, especially if there is more than one individual involved with the creation of the future installments. Probably a lot of people will disagree with how I see things, but I just feel like that people should give these types of stuff more of a chance and look at them with an open mind in order to truly determine a specific piece of entertainment's value and intentions. Especially with how pessimistic and high standard the people of today's global societies are over even the most basic and non-essential of stuff.
People ride the ezio trilogy way too much. Clunky controls, Ezio isn't as great as a character that people make him out to be. So on, so on. I do share the sentiment with them though that the RPG games are not AC. AC has always had some focus on stealth, while RPG elements throw that out the window. I'm not a fan of all of these games trying to become RPGS. (Gotham Knights, looking at you)
Nah Ezio is very well characterized imo. At worst you could say Brotherhood didn't give him the focus it needed and meandered as the middle point of the trilogy, but narratively speaking AC 2 and Revelations are pretty darn solid.
I enjoyed every single game of the series but with Odyssey and Valhalla I was like. Oh this is cool, but does it have to do with assassin's creed? Seriously in Valhalla and odyssey un can remove the AC title, remove the very few elemts of modern story and isu story and you have the same game but not in the AC franchise. It would have been better as two separated games from the AC franchise. (And before you say something about the dlc that might add someone, I just want to let you know that I am talking about the maing games that by themselves should have the entire story or if not so most of it.... Valhalla probably half of it instead...
I remember being blown away by the first AC game, although the repetitive gameplay was a bit annoying. Then came Ezio, and with him the maturation of Desmond as a fully fledged Assassin. I admit that I was an Ezio fan from the start, and that is probably why I dislike AC3 because Connor was (in my opinion) a whiny sulking character who was more preoccupied with being an angry young man, rather than training to be an assassin. Black Flag gave me the thrill and enjoyment of the first AC and the Ezio trilogy, but I lost interest with Rogue, Unity, and Syndicate. But somehow I got it all back when Origins and Odyssey came out. Being from Scandinavia, I was having high hopes for Valhalla, but somehow it felt bland for me. Bottom line is, I am a fan of Assassin's Creed, but some of the titles don't appeal to me.
I accidentally became a part of the League of Legends fanbase by becoming an Arcane fan because I wanted to know more about the lore surrounding the characters in that show but I didn't know that I had opened a portal to pandora's box. I can't even say something about someone like Yasuo on a NON GAMEPLAY VID without someone saying, "Oh he's broken, he's annoying, blah blah blah."
The only one I wouldn't call 'Real' Assassin's Creed is Odyssey and that's because, aside from the DLC that came after the fact, it has no relation to the Assassin/Templar or Hidden Ones/Order of Ancients Conflict and feels like a complete separate narrative with only the First Civilization connecting it to the rest of the series. Still, I wouldn't go as far to say people who like Odyssey aren't real fans because my dad, who loves Odyssey, got me into AC during the Assassin's Creed 2 days. Just because someone has a different opinion on one game, doesnt mean they aren't a fan of the series as a whole
I can see both sides of the argument; the fans that are gatekeeping see the rpg games as a huge departure from what AC games were like prior. I agree it’s not fair, but I’m convinced that those feelings of gatekeeping are misguided. I personally think it’s strange for someone to like only the rpg games and think the assassin gameplay or the assassin templar conflict is lame or unneeded. That’s what the whole series is about, so I can see the frustration.
id say im a trilogy purist only in the sense that it felt like the modern day story was moving forward at a pace that felt real, especially with assasins creed 3. having a dominant protag in Desmond really helped with that. I liked all other games after the trilogy, not so much valhalla, as games themselves, but the main story got ruined. game starts with either the voiceless protag getting news about what the assassins are up to, you get told you need to use the animus to find a p.o.e then the game ends when you find it in modern day with some big twist that never goes anywhere, juno for example. odyessy was good cuz it gave good lore on the isu before hand, valhalla did it to a much lesser degree. Layla could of been amazing but they didnt give her much to do sadly.
While Assassin's Creed 4 is a pirate game, the story is still an Assassin's Creed story, with the same Assassin's vs Templar type involving actually Assassins. Even the side Templar hunt contact is an Assassin's Creed activity. That's why I love it. I also like Syndicate, I don't know what was the dislike towards it back then was for. Probably the characters? The twins? I only found the new Eagle Vision in that game odd.
I love the games but at the same time I prefer it when I can stealthy take out an entire encampment of enemies through stealth without a level gate to prevent me from instantly killing enemies.
The only main sequence game I didn't play *when it came out* was Syndicate. I have been a huge AC fan since the literal beginning. I loved Odyssey and Valhalla. I loved Origins. I loved Black Flag and Unity. I loved AC3. I loved the Ezio trilogy. I loved the original. My favorite for Isu content is either Odyssey or Valhalla. My favorite for modern day storyline content is either Brotherhood or Revelations. My favorite for parkour is Unity. My favorite for voice acting is AC2. My favorite for ship combat is Black Flag. There's so much to like about every game. There's a lot to find wrong or missing in every game. So what? Can't we just love the game play loop, the gorgeous graphics for each generation, and the storyline?
The whole "you're not a real fan if" has been around forever. I remember back in the early 2000s having people tell me I wasn't a real fan of something if I didn't know some random obscure factoid about it. It's bullshit but there are always gonna be assholes who are like that. Regarding AC, I do think the older games where better. While I have no problem with ppl who prefer the RPG games, imo they havnt evolved the formula that made the older games really unique. They just gutted them and replaced it with bog standard, overly grindy, loot based RPG mechanics, that have been in games for decades at this point.
Hey Jay, do you think you'll ever do a video about the new upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie? I'm stoked for the film! I'd love to hear your opinions on it. The first trailer looked so dope. My only complaint was Mario's voice being on the very bland and boring side.
I definitely enjoyed the older games more. I tried origins and Odyssey. Was so meh in my opinion that I haven't bothered with anything AC since Odyssey. It's clear where they want to take AC and it's a path I didn't like so I dropped it. If I ever want to play a creed game I'd rather throw in AC1-AC4
My thing is, the rpg games arent assassins creed not bc of the gameplay but bc of story (besides origins that game is fantastic) like odyssey and valhalla, they dont really have much or anything to do with ac. But the gameplay is so fun. I think the last two ac games are the worst “assassins” creed games but as rpg games in general they are so fun. Hated odyssey story with a passion but man i could play for days on end
I also don't get why people hate kassandra, my brother in Aita you choose her character traits. The only thing I actively hate about AC odyssey and Valhalla is that they make it seem like isu hybrids and sages are like demigods because no they are not we have fought multiple sages in the past and they had more isu dna in them than most but they still were beaten quite easily and the writers should not concentrate on a protagonists strength like powerscalers do to GOW and DMC and what not.
I didn’t like the first 2 AC games and stopped playing for a while. But when Origins came out I fell in love and put a lot of hours into that game. I love the RPG AC games. I’m glad the Code Red Japanese AC is an RPG game.
I am excited that they want to make it a "shinobi fantasy". If there was one thing the odyssey team did well, it was leaning heavy into the fantasy and magic elements
Pretty much every Ubisoft game gets a hate bandwagon at launch. It is a cool and socially safe opinion to bash Ubisoft, both for gamers and the gaming press, and it's been that way for over 10 years. A lot of people filter their opinions just by what is popular to think and say. Over time the haters get bored and leave, and people play the awesome games and appreciate them.
For me, my level of enjoyment is based on my memory. Which is garbage. If I remember the game, I consider it liked haha. With games like odyssey Ive played 3 times and I can only really remember the main line stuff.
I liked Assassins Creed games up to Origins not into new rpg thing however i have the attitude of if someone else likes rpg good for them. It just wasnt what i liked about Assassins Creed. I often just replay the old ones and do my own thing.
I've played almost all the AC game except Rogue and the 2D one. I even own merch like the Black Flag map and hats and other stuff, but I wouldn't classify myself as a real fan. I'm just a fan of the games and will always be a fan. I didn't like the mechanics of some of the AC games, but like all of them as a whole. Least favorites would be AC 3 and Origins and most favorite is Odyssey and Black Flag. The only time I would say someone MIGHT not be a fan, if they said they never played any of the AC games. Other wise, who gives a damn if someone is a real fan vs. just a fan. If you had fun killing pixels on you TV, then that's all that matters. 🤗
Me enjoying all the games and being told im not a real fan because i enjoy Odyssey and Valhalla is a really weird experience.
Man I just got time to sit down and play Valhalla, and got to admit there’s things in the game I wouldn’t have cared for when I was younger but absolutely love right now. I.e. upgrading your settlement

it was the Challenging stealth that did it for me. love the fact that stealth wasnt just super easy.
@@SharkSprayYTP challenging? Don't you mean stupid AI detection like AC3 because that shit sucks although there are some things I like about it but I'd probably play AC3 over Valhalla if I was looking for stealth and if I wanted better stealth, AC Unity, Brotherhood, or Blackflag, Origins stealth was good like how did they fuk it up like that?
i enjoyed odyssey but not origins and valhalla
@@Quitehourss I don't understand that on Origins but maybe your just really into Greek stuff granted I am to

Fr like bots they state the same shit over an over like bro we get it
Lmao na ur just a fake fan. Jkkkkk
Exactly, after black flag people begged for a game in ancient Greece 🤣 now its bad because it didn't meet their no job having expectations
That's not actually true. Ubisoft started making the RPG games after AC Blackflag. AC Blackflag was the most RPG like pre origins game, they thought that because Blackflag sold well that making an rpg would sell well
@@jlall4467I suppose we’re just ignoring syndicate and unity
@@davidsaminyang818 unity and syndacite were already in development when black flag came out
This is why I love the transformer fanbase over other fanbases like on this video assassins creed or just cause or even saints row are there some disagreements yeah do some people prefer one transformers game or show over the other absolutely but there always a place for someone to talk about what they love about a certain transformer media

Exactly
All Ubisoft games with the title *Assassin’s Creed* on it is definitely a AC game!
I hated getting bullied for liking Valhalla. The reason I liked it was because of the time. I love the dark ages.
Give them a fckin Blood Eagle lol
AC4 was in the same game genre as the ones prior. Syndicate had some RPG elements but it was mostly similar to the past titles in terms of story and traversal. The genre changed completely starting with Origins.
AC 4 had similar movement to 3 but I'd argue the games drastically changed in gameplay starting with AC 3 and people were having this same discussion back then that it wasn't true AC.
@@hughjassman1227 A lot of people conveniently forget about that
@@hughjassman1227 to me, the change in gameplay when ac3 came out wasn't that big, parkour was pretty much the same, only now more trees, combat changed into quite a bit, but I quite like it, stealth just changed from social stealth-focused into more environmental stealth-focused, but the core of what ac is was still the same.
Not the same case with origins, the game simply changed genre to rpg, and it just felt like ubisoft were just riding the rpg hype train because the witcher 3 was so widely loved.
Starting with Unity actually, the game that introduced gear level system and microtransactions
Is annoying because they fail to recognize that AC is always looking for changes and to give player different experiences in each title.
I would take valhalla over odyssey any day at the very least

There's nothing wrong with that.
its not negative but it will cause a negative reaction but anyone can become a fan of literally anything
People will disagree on the bedrock foundation though. if they enjoy any AC game they are a fan whether they agree with your foundations or not.
@@Goldnfoxx
But not everyone shares that opinion.
Yeah gatekeeping bad. MCU was fine until it allowed parasites to suck it's soul we have shit like She Hulk
You're not a real fan if you're gatekeeping !
Best part of odyssey was the DLC. Much more focused story and maps and has less mandatory grinding
I used to be one of those people who didn't like the RPG style AC games but then AC Origins was free on Game Pass and I loved it. So much so I played through the story twice, completed it 100% both times, and I'd say it'd my second fav AC game.
Honestly it's the best one solid gameplay and story that's actually about Assassin's Creed, why they went and made a prequel to Origins is beyond me
@@wwalton you exactly the type of person, meant in this video💀
Oh I'm sorry that it doesn't make sense that they made prequels to the origins of Assassin Creed pardon me for having an opinion or god forbid voice it on the internet
@@uzacki and you are the exact type of person who shouldn't voice their stupid opinions on the internet.
They go so far as to say some are trash because of this animation or that lack of social stealth or that ridiculous ability...instead of just appreciating the fact that they are all really good games with some differences that not everyone is guaranteed to like.
lots of communities say that. its been a sentence that puts members in fanbases against each other
I think the first four are the main assassin's creed games. They all connect and wrap up very well. The rest in my eyes are just anthology games. I'm hoping mirage has more of a connection to the first four games than the last games we've gotten.
You literally play as Basim, it's the closest thing to Valhalla...
First five you mean? The Desmond Saga?
@rafabuda0 AcIII went in a completely different direction. Instead of picking up with Shao Jun they went to Conner instead. Revelations was the last good and proper ac game in my opinion.
Let me explain this new ac games.
Orgins - birth of the brotherhood/hidden ones
Odessy - birth of the templars
Valhalla - births of the sages
Sages where introduced in ac 2 and 4. But weren't explained well but Valhalla explained it perfectly ngl
Yeah at fave value it’s very much a pirate game, but deep down it’s also very much an assassins creed game that respects the lore
While odyssey doesn’t really have that, it’s set before the founding of the hidden ones, the antagonists aren’t the order of the ancients.
I think their should be a Assassin’s creed set in Japan during the Samurai era.
I think they are making it? Idrk
I’d play that game if it gets developed.
Isn't this exactly what Codename: Red is?
There will be
Codename Red is exactly that or so the developers say, probably best to wait until Ubisoft releases a trailer
Almost completely unrelated but i wanna be able to hide in ceiling corners in codename red
Can you do a ranking of all AC games? I love this channel and I can’t wait to see you guys pass 500k
i would rank the first two low most cuz the controller support sucks in pc
to add onto your point I also hate when people say “well, that’s YOUR opinion” like that somehow invalidates you for feeling that way. and I hate when people are overtly negative about someone liking a specific game and try to make them not like it, or just can’t handle that someone says it’s their favorite.
If someone enjoys 12 different games in the end of the day they are just happier people.
Everyone wants the original style, but the combat was objectively worse I didn't think it was fun just hitting the counter button, I do miss actually being an assassin
Those that state the others aren't true fans...Are themselves Templars.
Which is literally happening with jade
Valhalla's story was good, a lot better than Unity or Odyssey atleast
I need to free up space on my playstation should I delete as syndicate or as Odyssey or as Valhalla ????
all three of them are a travesty
@@taitos00 fr I deleted Odyssey and I will delete the others
If you completed them just delete them
The bar change could be because in series like star wars and AC many people objectively dislike the direction the series go, as in the series gets worse and worse we miss even the Games we didn't like. Like in comparison, they were amazing. But we didn't know it would get worse. By "we" I mean people that dislike the rpg games
Before AC origin : "ac is so cookie cutter, copy and paste."
After AC origin : "why does ac stray from its root?"
There’s too many things to do in Odyssey!”
“The combat is too easy! Make it harder!!”
Also him : “Valhalla’s too dry and boring, wish there were more things to do.”
“The combat is too hard and complicated!!”
Honestly the thing I hate most in fandoms is gatekeeping
I like AC4, AC Unity, AC Origins and Odyssey.
I have to get around to playing the oldest and also Valhalla at some point (Sans Syndicate, fuck Syndicate IMHO, but if people can find things they like in it go them)
But for me AC's biggest and most overarching drive is the HIstorical Settings of the games, every game succeeds at it (Albiet to varying degrees), and how they recreate these bygone eras and makes them feel lived in.
By the time Origins and Odyssey happened, Egypt and Greece already had ancient (relative to the people living then) histories and legends, and both settings convey that very well
AC Unity's Paris was extremely well designed and the game itself was pushing technology far ahead of it's time (So much so AC hasn't really gotten back to the graphical/Level of detail of Unity's enviromrents and lighting with Valhalla getting closest), the main knock against Unity's Paris is how Arno's pathing can get a bit funky when parkouring due to how MUCH small detail there is.
Thoughts??
To be honest i like the rpg games but unity need an sequel
I’ve been hated ever since I said ac3 is my favorite and I still don’t care lol.
As a Real True Assassin Creed Fan who played all the games except the Spin-Offs/DLC, I agree with everything you said as I’m still playing through the story of Valhalla 😎👍🏽💯
i finished it last night it's great really set up for mirage well
the ac valhalla story is good, not amazing but its good
The thing with AC for me is that I enjoyed the premise and the idea of playing as an assassin.
Yeah, agreed. "Not a real fan" is a bad arguement. I do personally think AC should have kept with the pre-RPG formula. That is all.
When in reality its more like "Why AC: Valhalla isn't for more, but is an objectively good game"
I miss the old AC gameplay, i hope Mirage brings it back successfully.
I think a lot of people have a compulsion to always be "right". And everyone else is just stupid and wrong and they are smart and great. It's ego.
People that try to gatekeep because they're harder to please act like they are a 10 degree black belt in maturity
(Completely off topic)Do a transformers video about how it would be easy or difficult to make.doesn’t matter what continuity.Awesome video.
The thing i hate the most is when people say. The RPG's aren't Assassin's Creed. Like the gameplay is what determines what an AC game is lol
@@unc54 what odyssey is the most AC that AC has ever been. It has the biggest lore dump out of any of the games.
3:41 I'm sure some people sat "AC was never good" which is like " Sonic was never good" objectively and subjectively untrue takes.
There's certain people on the internet who just need to make sure you don't enjoy anything and that's their entire personality, unfortunately.
Assassins Creed on the PSP is the only canon I follow
I accidentally became a part of the League of Legends fanbase by becoming an Arcane fan because I wanted to know more about the lore surrounding the characters in that show but I didn't know that I had opened a portal to pandora's box. I can't even say something about someone like Yasuo on a NON GAMEPLAY VID without someone saying, "Oh he's broken, he's annoying, blah blah blah."
“Liking what I like don’t make me a bitch.” - Mickey Milkovitch
Your not a real fan of this channel if you have a biased view🙂great work guys i love your content🙏
id say im a trilogy purist only in the sense that it felt like the modern day story was moving forward at a pace that felt real, especially with assasins creed 3. having a dominant protag in Desmond really helped with that.
The RPGS are good games just not good AC games 😅
AC 1, 2, Brotherhood And Revelations 🥶🥶
Im currently on steam. Finishing valhalla
I get tired of the Gatekeepers in Star Wars too. It's completely ridiculous and childish.
I agree with every single point you two made in the video especially about the reasoning behind an opinion.
Haven’t rly played a lot bc poor. Hate the RGP look of it but I’d still play.
your a real fan just from this one comment
