The genie definitely takes on the traits of the person who rubs the lamp. Captain Syrup was evil, therefore so was the genie. When Wario rubbed the lamp, he got a genie that was willing to grant him a wish, but wanted a huge payment first. Which is Wario's personality perfectly. He's greedy and wants money but overall, a decent guy!
Never seen a happier ending? He ask for a home, and recieve a planet! So now he's homeless, and alone in is own isolated world... THAT was the creepy bad ending!!!
***** it would be covered in coins. everything would be happy. the most lucious plants and gardens and the clearest, purest water the Wii graphics could handle, very colorful. pure marble and gold bricks for the mansion. red velvet carpets, banners, and the most comfy furniture.
***** Probably some cities with buildings (which have Wario noses of course),most of the restaurants serve garlic (even and food with garlic),and all of the citizens have wario faces (and are greedy like wario),and Wario would probably be the president of the Wario Planet, plus that most of the citizens have houses which are millionaire villas (While Wario lives in a billionaire villa)
At least Wario didn't inherit excessive wealth from his parents like most temporary celebrities I hear of sometimes. He put a lot of effort into fulfilling his greed!
Kieran Nicholl i know wario may be greedy and selfish but it isn't fair maybe he got from his parents or maybe he's insulted / teased / bullied i rather see him in his own planet or castle instead of a stupid pathetic birdhouse beside he's not that bad
MOST POINTLESS GENIE EVER!! Surely Wario could just buy a castle instead of paying a genie to magic one up XD And that one bag of gold could probably get him something better than a birdhouse too if it wasn't up to that asshole genie XD
Don't be so hasty: Remember that There's TONS of gold coins in the Super Mario Bros. universe. Thus, it would have only a fraction of the value it has in the real world.
That's a good point actually...Specially considering that each coin is the size of a person, so gold must have shitty value too...BUT then again, Mario's, and in this case Wario's, adventures take place in dangerous lands of floating platforms and Bowsers goons, so no-one normal would survive long enough to get all those coins. Maybe only a tiny fraction of the Mushroom Kingdoms currency is actually in circulation, while like 70% of it is scattered across areas no Toad may tread?
true I kinda agree with you but then there's a planet he could own but yes it's kinda unfair even if Wario was an asshole, he lived a horrible life but this JERK viewed him this way and pretended to care for him even though there's comics and games of him being tortured and having a crummy old childhood
Yomi ShadowWraith To be fair, even 99,999,999 dollars and every treasure in the world wouldn't be enough to buy you a planet! Besides, I've heard the planet selling business has been crashing lately! (To be fair, that planet seemed pretty small, mabie that genie only bought him an asteroid. What a scam!)
as a kid I found the planet ending to be really confusing, first he magically levitates off the ground(without the genie being present on screen), he exits the atmosphere that happens to be only a few feet from the ground. then right away he arrives at his planet and stands on it as if it was in the foreground along with him. then he starts walking back and forth in space. I know now that I was looking too deep into it, but as a kid I took everything literally.
This DOES make me wonder though: If Wario has opurtunities to get THAT much money, why doesn't he just buy a house himself? It's not like coins are sparse in the Mario universe. Instead he has to wish for it, and the wish isn't even free.
4:42 I find it neat how to work around the color limitations of the original Game Boy, having a fire flower adds some feather on your hat instead of reversing the colors of Mario.
The ending of Wario Land Shake it made me laugh when he credits rolled, but then you have the epilogue.. as greedy as he may be, I felt bad that Syrup just stole all his money.
Actually, having a planet seems kind of creepy to me. Is it a hospitable one? What if it's covered with poisonous gases? Will Wario have to cut down swaths of trees and work in a quarry to make his castle? What if there are creatures on it that he has to displace from their homes? Also, what if in the future Wario becomes the tyrannical overlord of the planet and turns into a final boss? I'm mostly kidding. It was just fun to think up those things.
Wario should have wished for a job and the money bags could decide on a job: 6 money bags: king of the world 5 money bags: a boss of a company 4 money bags: second to the boss 3 money bags: manager 2 money bags: an office worker 1 money bag: works at the junk yard No money bags: works for the genie
Minrod Vilseven though it would be a waste, he could have also wished for a pet: 6 money bags:a hydra 5 money bags:a dragon 4 money bags:a baby dragon 3 money bags:the cutest fox in the world (definately NOT tails) 2 money bags:a clone of mario (not to bad) 1 money bag:a living money bag that gives u money every 1 milisecond (that should be number 9) no money bags:a mouse
Why's working a Junk Yard a bad thing? Pay is decently good for anyone I've met doing it. I've picked junk from a professional junkyard cuz I needed parts and frankly it isn't such a drag.
No it isn't possible. I had just a little bit in my pocket upon my first time beating the game, so just that little bit over 300 coins. Lovely birdhouse.
11:45 - 12:01: I'm guessing this is the type of house that Wario lives in during the WarioWare series. Castle Ending = Wario Land 2 Log Cabin Ending = Wario Ware
Thanks alot. You made me scarred for life. I can't look at a single Mario game without feeling disappointed with myself. I hope you're happy D: ... But seriously: great episode as always, sucks to be Wario!
I think that it's meant to explain why Captain Syrup became such a famous pirate as the money she looted was cashed in to the genie for wishes like to have a strong and loyal pirate crew and in some cases for the genie to be her bodyguard. In a way, it can be assumed that Wario might have unintentionally saved the world as Syrup could have offered the statue to the genie in order to wish to become the ruler of the world.
@MarioMastar What with my fear of bad endings, I always made sure to get all the chests in all three of my playthroughs of the game, so I always got the perfect ending and never saw the female Wario until I saw a picture of it recently. Though I wish I missed at least one chest because the Younger Princess Shoroka looks much cuter than the version of her in the perfect ending.
LOL! Yeah first time I completed this I got the pagoda. I kept playing it again and again after that and was really surprised and pleased by the Wario Planet ending. This was enlightening - because I always had all the treasures, I never saw the (canonical, it seems) castle ending. Thanks 4 the upload!
@M30W3R and @MarioMastar I was going to include that ending in this video, but I felt it was long enough already. (I never realize how long this videos become whilst making them) I guess I should make a Creepy Bad Endings Extra for it.
+Gvullap Sbatilel Methinks the Genie (named Denpu in Japan) is not really demanding payment as much as he wants to know how much money Wario has to maintain his home-to-be. It is not enough to buy a castle bigger than Mario's; Wario will need to maintain it: plumbing (of course, being a Mario spinoff), gas, electricity, furniture, food, etc. He conjures a home based on Wario's accumulated wealth: birdhouse (300 to 10,071), hollow tree trunk (10,072 to 40,007), log cabin (40,008 to 70,007), pagoda (70,008 to 90,007), castle (90,008 to 99,998, intended, canonical wish), and planetoid (99,999+). Defeating Denpu nets 300 obligatory coins, hence the lower limit for the Birdhouse.
The only real bad ending in Mario is for Waluigi. Bowser rules a kingdom (fairly well when he's not trying to fuck over Mario), Mario has a fairly peaceful life, Luigi gets a mansion, Wario has a successful business, even the original Donkey Kong turned out fine as Cranky Kong, Peach, Daisy, Toad, Yoshi, everyone's doing fine. Waluigi on the other hand doesn't really have anything on his own. Put him in Smash already you-
Super Mario Land 2. So good. Classic. You did such a good job with this video. I especially liked the smooth way you added all the coins/treasures o their places, as though you acquired them all at once. Not fast paced, but didn't need to be. A pleasant experience. ^_^
12:39:say you're saying there are two had endings.and it involves where if you have 2 money bags he will have log cabin, which is a bad ending.and very bad ending is where you have 1 money bag and end up having a bird house?!
@MarioMastar I haven't played Master of Disguise yet, but my brother actually has the game, so I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because I hear it's not as good as Wario's other adventures, at least according to the professionals, but they didn't rave much about Wario Land II & III, yet they're among my favourite games ever, so the professionals could be idiots.
Anyone else think the Mario Land series should be remade into a game that combines Mario Land 1 & 2, with Mario Land 3 being the postgame? Here's how I could see it working... For the final stage Mario's about to fight Tatanga when Luigi takes control of the ship and defeats Tatanga. They (Mario, Luigi, and Daisy) fly to Luigi's mansion, where they all spend the night because they're tired from the ordeal. While Daisy and the Mario Bros are resting at night, Wario and his forces take over Castle Mario setting up the events of the second half of the game . The bosses would be under his employ, or simply fighting for their own reasons. Upon being beaten in the final battle, Wario would flee and set sail in search of treasure, overhearing about the genie's lamp from Captain Syrup's crew in a cutscene after the credits. Then the postgame (the events of Mario Land 3) would begin.
I think the Planet Ending is the one that's canon, because some of the environments in the Wario games don't look like anything you'd see in a Mario game.
6:04 Correction, whoisthisgit. Wario intends to steal the golden Princess Peach/Toadstool statue from the Brown Sugar Pirates (the original thieves) and hold it for ransom.
@AgeAwkward Because it means you can't finish the game without at least those 300 coins, so Wario will definitely have some money for one money bag and the bird house. There isn't an even worse ending where he has no coins, and thus gets nothing whatsoever.
I didn't even know it was possible to get the bird house. Just playing through the game normally, I got the tree. Then I found out how to get the planet, so I did all of that. It was a really fun game, and I'm currently playing the second one.
Episode 12: th-cam.com/video/ENRasZ_d9nM/w-d-xo.html

He's greedy and wants money but overall, a decent guy!
I wouldn’t say Syrup is evil, as more of… she is gunhoe in killing anyone who dares to mock her. She is a pirate, after all.
so 5-6 bird houses= own a planet
Yep. All we need is enough bird house money, so we can buy a bird house planet with REAL bird houses.
Do you think we should get some birds too? Me neither.
i gotta build 5 bird houses brb
It is strange but in the game every next money bag has a lot more money than the previous.
A moon***
(Lol sorry)
Never seen a happier ending?
He ask for a home, and recieve a planet!
So now he's homeless, and alone in is own isolated world... THAT was the creepy bad ending!!!
Phobophile 89 The genie could've easily put a grand mansion on his planet though
or he also created a new species that is now Wario's army or company
sounds like me, only not physically.
Oh...
Mario can't steal a planet.
Save that for Kirby.
Wario Planet should have been a secret level in Super Mario Galaxy 2.
That, would've been fucking awesome...
Tall Bee I know, right?
***** i agree with u
***** it would be covered in coins.

A SMOL LOAN OF A MIL BUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WOAH
Chao GOD yeah he got a SMOL LOAN OF A MIL BUCKS!!!!!!1!!!!!!
@Emil lol
When Wario wins the log cabin, you get Wario's Woods. When Wario wins the castle, you get Wario Land 2.
+thatXxFRESHxXguy Did you just...
+thatXxFRESHxXguy Oh god, you did
wow
and with the wario planet is wario ware?
... I'm not sure... It's plausible. :D
What if the Wario Planet is were the Wario Ware games take place?
I highly doubt that I'm sure the alternate universe mario resides in has enough lands for warios enemies and friends to be at.
...Oh god.
That's why waluigis not in the wario games
I believe that’s true because mario makes no appearance in those games
MOST POINTLESS GENIE EVER!! Surely Wario could just buy a castle instead of paying a genie to magic one up XD And that one bag of gold could probably get him something better than a birdhouse too if it wasn't up to that asshole genie XD

+bugman bugman huh
12:40 "Take a good look at this. Look at the disapointment on Wario's face, look at the despair!"
*Me:* "Well, at least he's still smiling...."
But he's still sad.
Jonathan Backo 11:52 is Wario's house in warioware
thats his moustache. Its hiding a face of great sadness
He looks like he just crapped himself.
I'm getting Sans vibes from the smile. Like his face is "stuck" smiling, but he can still show he's sad through other means.
Poor Wario, he doesn't even have a ladder to go in his bird house. :(
What I wonder is how the hell he's supposed to fit in the birdhouse to begin with
@@marielenapotts848 that’s the neat part, he’s doesn’t
I love how they just left marios stats behind when him and daisy flew away
10:17 And that was the last we saw of Wario. Some say he got his own planet. others say he got a tiny birdhouse. We may never know.
IT WAS A JOOOOOKKKEE
+AngelX2000 i say pagoda even if it's not a castle he found a goomba that can upgrade the pagoda into a castle
well why Wario likes all stuff because he's gonna be a hobo.
AngelX2000 warios castle is in wario land
...so we DO know
AngelX2000 yep
Wario should have broken the bird house and beat up the genie and break the lamp with it
This DOES make me wonder though: If Wario has opurtunities to get THAT much money, why doesn't he just buy a house himself? It's not like coins are sparse in the Mario universe.
Instead he has to wish for it, and the wish isn't even free.
At least its an instant house, I mean, you can't get a planet with just a lot of money. And this genie makes you a planet and he makes it in seconds.
He just needs to go play New Super Mario Bros 2. He'd be able to buy a universe without even trying.
I guess he wants something customized to his liking, and comissioning a house would take a long time for Wario.
The real estate market in the Mushroom Kingdom SUCKS.
That Wish, Its A Quarter
Last episode: Hell on Earth. This Episode: Wario living in a bird house.
Alex's Art and Games Channel That's Creepy bad endings brah xD
10:35 So THIS is how Majora's Mask happened
11:57
A log cabin- might not be that creative, but at least he has shelter and almost full protection from rain.
Plus, that would lead to WarioWare.
This also gets Wario an entire forest as seen in Wario Woods.
4:42 I find it neat how to work around the color limitations of the original Game Boy, having a fire flower adds some feather on your hat instead of reversing the colors of Mario.
Paying to a genie for a wish?
Damn recession knows no boundaries...
The ending of Wario Land Shake it made me laugh when he credits rolled, but then you have the epilogue..
as greedy as he may be, I felt bad that Syrup just stole all his money.

I'm mostly kidding. It was just fun to think up those things.
The last one wouldn't be surprising. He was already the final boss once.
Wario should have wished for a job and the money bags could decide on a job:
6 money bags: king of the world
5 money bags: a boss of a company
4 money bags: second to the boss

tree trunk was later sold to link....lol
Holy shit
is that a motherfucking ocarina reference?
13:04 I don't know about you, but doesn't Wario's face look like the Troll face?
20th Like
is it possible to beat the game with 0 money bags or do the 300 coins from the final boss give you at least 1 money bag?
Always 1 bag guaranteed !
No it isn't possible. I had just a little bit in my pocket upon my first time beating the game, so just that little bit over 300 coins. Lovely birdhouse.
Well, I'm still depressed for poor Wario! Even with the april fools!
Those creepy bad endings series are awesome man.
The babtality thing was O.K.,It was funny!
I got a tree house on my first time finishing the game, Wario got disappointed but hey, it wasn't a bird house at least lol
6 birdhouses = 1 planet? Nintendo Logic Everyone.
XD
Not to mention Castle + Birdhouse = Planet.
But cheer up, Wario later collects more money and gets a planet!
Except the planet is probably not even a planet even smaller than an island
Ah, the old days of Whoisthisgit. Always a fresh reminder that things get better over time.
7:25 - Mario is a duplicitous son of a gumba...
12:43 To be completely honest, Wario looks like he's laughing because he ripped a silent but deadly during class
11:45 - 12:01: I'm guessing this is the type of house that Wario lives in during the WarioWare series.
Castle Ending = Wario Land 2
Log Cabin Ending = Wario Ware
Thanks alot. You made me scarred for life. I can't look at a single Mario game without feeling disappointed with myself. I hope you're happy D:
... But seriously: great episode as always, sucks to be Wario!
4:56 LOL Babality
alright... so my question is.... why does a genie need money? Its not like he has to buy anything
I think that it's meant to explain why Captain Syrup became such a famous pirate as the money she looted was cashed in to the genie for wishes like to have a strong and loyal pirate crew and in some cases for the genie to be her bodyguard. In a way, it can be assumed that Wario might have unintentionally saved the world as Syrup could have offered the statue to the genie in order to wish to become the ruler of the world.
well, wario might have actually gotten the moon. but thats just as good as a planet! (maybe)
Well, that's the most expensive bird house I've ever seen.
I just saw this video on April 1, 2016. That's today!
why dafuq u lyin
I get the feeling Wario just wants a proper home, which is why he'd be happy to get a log cabin.
The log cabin ending perhaps is the house in warioware that is moved to the big city and rebuilt.
You have to PAY the Genie too??
After all these years, only now have I noticed the april fools part consisted of 12 words.
Or at least the part leading up to it.
Depends if you see it not being creepy as a a joke, making the video a joke, or seeing those 12 words as a joke, this confuses me.
These Wario games are weird.
"Hey Genie i wish a giaaaant castle for me!"
"Yea i can make that but you must give me a lot of money."
"HOLY SHIT THIS GENIE SUCKS!"
I think a planetoid manages itself pretty well, to be honest.
+Tyler Nope (TerraformTrent) He will still need the money to maintain infrastructure and governance for the planetoid to be habitable.
Wario: Alladin lied to me...
Don't apologize for Bability.
the main theme of super mario land sounds so farmiliar.......... almost like i hear it every saturday.....
Wow ten years.
CONGRATURATIONS
CONGRATULATIONS
The only real bad ending in Mario is for Waluigi. Bowser rules a kingdom (fairly well when he's not trying to fuck over Mario), Mario has a fairly peaceful life, Luigi gets a mansion, Wario has a successful business, even the original Donkey Kong turned out fine as Cranky Kong, Peach, Daisy, Toad, Yoshi, everyone's doing fine.
Waluigi on the other hand doesn't really have anything on his own. Put him in Smash already you-
At least he has his own pinball Racetrack
It's funny how Mario Land has a cool overlapping story.
Super Mario Land 2. So good. Classic.
You did such a good job with this video. I especially liked the smooth way you added all the coins/treasures o their places, as though you acquired them all at once. Not fast paced, but didn't need to be. A pleasant experience. ^_^
Now you made me want to play this game again D:
I LOVE YOU! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS!
shao khan: Mario wins flawless victory BABALITY!!!!
3:43 If you pause at the right moment, you can see the bottom right coin changed into a different thing.
The little "treasure found" song that plays when you grab one is possibly the best item theme I've heard in my gaming career.
12:39:say you're saying there are two had endings.and it involves where if you have 2 money bags he will have log cabin, which is a bad ending.and very bad ending is where you have 1 money bag and end up having a bird house?!
10:01 6 Money bags = Planet
10:59 5 Money Bags = Castle
11:27 4 Money bags = Pagoda
11:44 3 Money bags = Log Cabin
12:03 2 money bags = Tree Trunk house
12:22 1 money bag = Birdhouse
Why did Mario get a whole ass castle only in this series?
He probably gave up on the castle after Wario filled it with traps.
That's my headcanon, at least.
Nice use of Alundra music.
You published this on my birthday 8 years ago...
Compare to Luigi's Mansion, at least at the lowest rank, Luigi gets a tent. Here, Wario, a bird house?! XD
Thanks for not dubbing over the music, good video
I love this channel
This video got me. hehe I was like "I beat that game. How are any of it's bad endings creepy?"
That appears to be a Japanese-style castle, rather than a pagoda. Though someone probably already mentioned that.
Wow! I finished the game many times as I were young but I never knew that you can get a whole planet!
@MarioMastar aaand now I cannot sleep again because of that image being impressed on my retinas. Thanks man.
12:26 WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1:19 is that- that cant be.... LUIG- WT!!??
This is a really great game. Loved playing it years back as a kid.
12:39
Cara’s theme from Legend of Legaia for PS1.
13:00 Mario's always been a selfish bitch, even in comic world.
That Babality Moment Was Just Too Well Done
The Organisms of Planet Wario. That'll make a good Astrobiology/Fan Fiction subject! :P
Oh God, I just watched your last video. Then I saw the name Daisy, thanks for the nightmares.
7:50 tbf he made Mario go through a lot of trouble in Marioland 2
I like how he's happy with the Cabin ending
What’s the name of the music that plays at 12:40?
i laughed when you zoomed up on Wario's face
I had this game as a kid, but lost it. I always got a castle at the end, didn't know you could get an entire planet.
lub lub is random..... oh and thanks for rabbit nightmares from last ep!!!!!!!!!
6:04 Correction, whoisthisgit. Wario intends to steal the golden Princess Peach/Toadstool statue from the Brown Sugar Pirates (the original thieves) and hold it for ransom.
That face Wario has when you get a tree stump and a bird house is actually creepy when it was magnified.
Add the depressing music and....
Luigi: I-a got a tent...
Wario: Try living in a BIRD HOUSE!
@AgeAwkward Because it means you can't finish the game without at least those 300 coins, so Wario will definitely have some money for one money bag and the bird house. There isn't an even worse ending where he has no coins, and thus gets nothing whatsoever.

i like how all three of these are dead memes. (i know these are from a year ago)
I didn't even know it was possible to get the bird house. Just playing through the game normally, I got the tree. Then I found out how to get the planet, so I did all of that. It was a really fun game, and I'm currently playing the second one.
