There are many metric cruisers out there other than those mentioned in this list. If you're in the market for a metric cruiser which one would you pick and why? 😎✌️
Vulcan S will no longer be the smallest kawasaki Cruiser soon since they made Eliminator 400, which most likely will touch North American in a year or less.
I owned a Honda Shadow 1100 in the past and I loved it! Now, I am itching for a Triumph Rocket. But braking away from the Honda reliability is a hard thing to do.
I had the KVS and loved it .. great beginner bike. Royal, Honda and Yamaha are looking good too.The Rocket is sick but I still prefer the Bobber, Nice video!
Grossly unappreciated bike for certain. A tail tidy and slim mirror upgrade also makes it look great. Performance is unbelievably good, as is relaibility
@@youragronk6208 from 2015 onwards. Vulcan S, Vulcan Cafe ( same thing). The only minor difference I am aware of from approx 2017 or later, is that the digital gear indicator on newer models are displayed on main screen, whereas with older model the gear display is on a separate dial which looks nicer imo and is larger and easier to see in large digital red font. A cheap tail-tidy and mirror upgrade can transform this bike from ordinary to awesome proper cruiser. Also, in some countries the bike is sold as LAMS (Learners permitted), in this case the engine output is limited, though this is reversible an full power is obtained by removing one screw and unplug a cable when you get or have full licence, easily done by anyone with no mechanical experience and no need ot take bike apart. The bike is also generally quicker than almost most standard HD's and others, it is in top 10 or so for speed... Well at least it was, not sure now.
Honda Shadow Phantom 750 with Vance & Hines Short Shots, Cobra ram air intake, Power Commander 6, Norse tuned, Barnett racing clutch, and MZ adjustable quick shift levers. Will keep up with if not be side by side with full-sized Harley and Indian baggers and out distance the previous generation Sportster 883.
i have a 22 shadow phantom blacked out . good looking bike and the legendary honda reliability. i did change the exhaust to some cobra slash downs and cobra intake. sounds a bit better and looks better than the stock chrome.

@@bruceelliott3518 Possibly, if you want to always live in the high rev ranges and dont mind being scrunched up on long rides. Not even a viable candidate for me.
you should replace the rebel and vulcan s with honda shadow 750 and kawasaki vulcan 900 custom both has a v twin egine which is a trademark of cruiser motorcycle rather than a inline 2 egine
The Super Meteor 650 is a good choice, it is a great and economical motorcycle. A real return to the true value of the cruiser. I find the rebel and the Kawasaki Really not sexy. Roquette 3 is beautiful, but too powerful and too expensive
No longer made the road star 1700 to me is as close to a Harley with out being a Harley. From the sound to the big simple motor. But it's not in the shop 6 months out if every year.
If Harleys are so bad, why do they imitate them? By the way todays Harleys are very reliable. You are ignorant of the facts. Ride what you want and I will buy american.
It's ironic considering those american bikes are made in China. And Harley is not the only company that makes good motorcycles, the market has gotten much bigger my friend
@SAR0311 I disagree, people want the best bang for their buck, if that's a harley then cool, but most people, I think, want to experience the freedom that a motorcycle brings in general without absolutely destroying their finances in the process. Harley is simply just too expensive and seems to only be marketed to an aging demographic of retirees with disposable income rather than younger riders with a more restrictive budget. Hence, the other alternatives to Harley offer a quality ride with the affordability.

Honda Shadow 750.
Any old VTX 1800, Yamaha Raider, Honda Shadow, 1400 Intruder,
I owned a Honda Shadow 1100 in the past and I loved it! Now, I am itching for a Triumph Rocket. But braking away from the Honda reliability is a hard thing to do.
I bought a new 86 1100 Shadow. Loved it. Almost bought a new VTX1800 in 06. Now buying lottery tickets for a Freewheeler. Best to all.
Yo Full Throttle, M109, Rocket 3. Ponies Matter.
I had the KVS and loved it .. great beginner bike. Royal, Honda and Yamaha are looking good too.The Rocket is sick but I still prefer the Bobber, Nice video!
honda fury!!!!🎉
Vulcan S is a great bike, after 4 years and over 40,000km it's a great for all riders beginner or experience.

Year?

I fell in love with the 109 first time I read about it 17 years ago in Motorcyclist Magazine.
The triumph 1700 parallel twin is beautiful xnd some bike. In my opinion the best cruiser. Those thunderbirds are amazing.

Vulcan S for the last 5 years !
Rocket 3 GT, go big or go home...what a blast to ride...literally
Super Meteor for me, simply value for money 👍😎 No need to go bigger, we just haven’t got the roads. UK

Tha last one the indeni 3
Triumph wins HANDS down followed by M109R -- both Awesome!! bikes!
Forgot about the Diavel. The Italian muscle cruiser
No price on the rocket????
Indeed, a great buy for the bike. Many times over reliability wise then HD.
Bolt is a great bike
Honda shadow aero and phantom?
Yep, they are wonderful cruisers too. This list isn't exhaustive, it's just the best metric cruisers according to me. 😎✌️
The Rocket 3 is far and away the winner. It blows away any other metric cruiser and any Harley too.
Diavel

Agreed:
already have a Triumph Speedmaster anything else metric would be a Yamaha Road liner or the Yamaha VMAX
I don't think Royal Enfield has nothing going better than the Triumph Speedmaster . Triumph Rocket 3 or the Triumph bobber
Bonneville bobber
Rocket 3 GT or Ducati XDiavel would be my choice
How can u miss ducati xdiavel? Best performing cruiser to buy now
That's a beautiful bike as well. But like mentioned, this list isn't exhaustive. These are just the best metric cruisers according to me. 😎✌️

This list can’t be legit without Indian scout. Cheaper than any Harley and plenty of horses.
Not a metric

You forgot the Best: Yamaha xv1900, kawa vn2000 honda vtx 1800...
Aren't Harleys, by definition, non metric?
Honda Rebel 1100.
It’s also a better cruiser than any harley ever made.
These are all nice bikes and would take any of these bikes after I got my FXLRS
Yamaha bolt900
M109
The best cruisers. Harley aint one of them. Indian ok. Harley American made. Whaha Joke. Nothing more than a hype. To Much money. To little power.
Thumbs down! When was HD ever a manufacturer of ANYTHING metric on two wheels?
Stupid title.
Indians are also metric bikes

They immitate the looks but nor the quality. 😅
It's ironic considering those american bikes are made in China. And Harley is not the only company that makes good motorcycles, the market has gotten much bigger my friend
I used to own a Harley ran fine except oil change $500 my Triumph $200 initial cost and service costs way to expensive
People only want the sound, looks and feel of Harleys definitely NOT the reliability, dependability cost of maintenance and repairs whatsoever😂
