Thoroughly enjoyed watching, thanks for sharing. I have never owned a Subaru, but a relative (who is a mechanic) did years ago. And he said they are one of the best cars ever. Will get one on the used car market here.
Great series, I watched the removal video, the head removal and installation and then the engine installation. I know she didn’t mention anything about burping the cooling system. Is it as big a deal as people say on a Subaru? I also noticed that you took off the rattle shrouds -- I mean, The header shroud. Did you put it on after or is it necessary? They sure make a racket. 👍🏽👍🏽
Excellent video! You only mention torque spec on the engine mounts, what about the bell housing/starter bolts, throttle body bolt, exhaust manifold nuts?
Great job.
It illustrates why capable independent Subaru shops (I'd never go to a stealership) charge what they do.

Beautiful! It was like watching a movie. Thanks.
The stretch belt setup seems like it sucks!
I have never used coolant conditioner or special Subaru coolant with modern MLS head gaskets--no issues.
Really satisfying video to see this project come to completion !
You and me both! Cheers.
there's nothing showing how to put the flexplate bolts in though
Solo person! Me too about to try this!

Thank you. I did not reinstall the heat shield; they are notoriously known to make a racket. I simply avoid parking on tall grass. Cheers.

look up a factory FSM for your make and model. it’ll have all the info.
Great video!! Thanks!!! Love your tip about disabling the fuel pump!

Oil still dripping from the oil filter even if changed from my 04 Subaru Impreza 2.5 ts and there is oil on the bottom black steering rack
I had the same issue. Leaking head gasket. First check the valve cover gaskets - th-cam.com/video/evk8PNZG8c8/w-d-xo.html
