Finally sub 2! Pretty happy with this run. Pre-pit was ok and pit itself had good RNG. Hoping to push closer to the 1:50 mark in the future.

Mad respect 4 the run i remember a younger me staying up till 3 or 5l4 in the morning going all the way through the trial to find out what was at the bottom a friend of mine stayed over that night watching me but he slept around 1 anyways I continue to go deeper and deeper and tattle on every enemy I haven't encountered yet I got lucky on floor 80 or 90 the freaking bomb blow up on me but lucky for me I had 1 more life shoot and I leveld up like 3 times and when I got to the final floor I got really tense I knew If I failed hours of play time would be for nothing but I prevailed

This is a really cool run to watch. The strategy for bonetail really had me on the edge of my seat and was super cool to watch. i remember as a kid I tried to beat the pit of 100 trials but I haven't been successful at it. I haven't beaten it since my TV didn't have the right cables for the wii. Now I do and got my wii set up again so I'm gonna try to beat it. But this run was really inspiring to me.

When you started moving from the docks, why did you walk further to the left instead of right?
How come you used power punch on Goombella it didnt fade out after 2 or 3 turns?
I think it's because of an oversight where if a character is switched out while they have a buff, the turn counter won't go down.

touching hazards like that will put you back on the last safe ground you were standing on (and you take 1 damage; Life Shrooms won't help you if you were already in Peril), but if you jump on the first frame you touch the ground in that room, it doesn't think you *had* any safe ground you stood on so it just throws you into the center

What do you mean? It's only 8 star pieces and you can get 15 at this point (21 with glitches).
Great run but u had to exploit for 2 shines making it not really legit
It's legit, it's just not glitchless
The conundrum of man and whether glitches are different from exploits.
Tbh, neither invalidate this run, much less Paper Mario in general.
Im also legitimately struggling to see what could possibly be an exploit, nevermind how an exploit would ruin the legitimacy of the run in the first place.
