There is a small error in this video. The smart shunt is included with the base 100AH Lithium battery. I have the Black Canyon without the Lithium upgrade and the smart shunt is already installed. To be honest, I'll probably upgrade mine with the second Lithium battery and the 2Kw inverter myself. It is a pretty awesome trailer.
I've got a new to me 2023 tab 320s. For the life of me I can't get one of the windows to stay up. When I want the window completely up it just falls back down. I've taken off each end and tightened the black strings and it still falls. ugh
We just got back from a 3,500mile trip that included 6 days strait of Boondocking in a Big Bend Primitive Camping Site in our 2019 T@B. We only needed a small 90w solar panel because we have the 3-way refrigerator which we ran on propane. The larger capacity black tank came in handy as well. My hands get dirty setting up and having access to storage on the outside for the set-up items is god send. BTW, we still LOVE the wood ceiling!!
I love everything but the gas cookers and likely gas water heater. Electric versions of both outperform gas in every way, are far safer to use, and infinite with the correct amount of solar. I just can't fathom why they don't make them fully electric, unless they're partnered with a propane company. It's 2024, not 2012. Nothing should be gas at this point. Make the entire subfloor a battery(like a tesla) or over-engineer the front battery compartment to hold at least 1kw, the entire back of the trailer into solar panels, with electric appliances, and ac where the microwave goes(like the 2018 model). Also the option of a composting toilet vs cassette. I'd gladly pay 5 grand more for those upgrades.
Did you find that the CS-S model was comfortable enough for two people to sleep on that bed? My understanding is that you have to sleep east to west and it is only 71 inches which is 5’11”?
@@MandyLea Can confirm. I am 5'-7 and my wife is 5'-0 and I don't think anyone much taller will be overly happy. Especially in the bathroom. And yes we did get our CS-S!!!! A week ago. I LOVE IT!!! I am hoping to take it on a shake down trip in early January somewhere close by our home. We are lucky to have a covered carport and a 30A outlet at our house so I have been spending time getting to know the systems. I am very impressed with the trailer, the build quality and what is onboard.

The microwave needs to be placed outside on the CS model. You go for the clamshell model for the outdoor kitchen which makes it roomier on the inside so why put the microwave inside and take away a storage space on the inside?! The kitchen after all is outside and then the placement of the microwave is inconveniently high! I could never reach it so it would be useless for me. The inside barely has enough storage as it is. I also don’t feel that both compartments needed to be pass through.
@@MandyLea in another video I've seen NuCamp got rid of the 1" thick wooden frame they've used in the past to mount the vent fan. The fan's frame is now flush with the ceiling. That would really improve head clearance. I've had to pad our vent fan frame to avoid gouging my head on the edges and sharp corners. It also looks like they moved the riser knob to the far corner and that the knob is round instead of having three pointy wings.
This is not a good idea to show theirs and not get a price range so I don’t even like looking at these. Sorry I shouldn’t even post them you don’t get prices people don’t know and they’re not gonna run to a dealership to find out how much and then they can’t afford it or show it should have a price range.
You can go online to check out prices from dealerships! They all can charge what they want, and ther can be big price differences $$$ but it gives you an idea of what the price point is. Not sure where you are from but I got on line to check prices out, I’m from the north and found that prices in the south were much more reasonable. Not sure but I’m thinking that because they have a longer camping and selling season down south, so you can find better prices than in the northern states who have a shorter selling and camping season! I drove down to GA from MI and got a great price. The expense of travel to and from GA from MI was well worth it and saved $$$. So you really don’t have to go to dealers you can do much on line! Hope this helps. But you do get what you pay for! 😊
We just picked up our 2024 CS-S a week ago. We order it with Lithium Package after considering what kind of camping we were going to be doing. I don't regret the extra investment at all. We also found a dealer in Virginia that sold us the trailer at a price that was much lower than I had expected and without any extra fees. They also spent a lot of time going over everything when we took delivery. If you are in the market for a smaller trailer then you should definitely consider a nüCamp product. The build-quality is substantially better than most other comparable products. We were shocked at the crap that was on display at an RV show we went to a year ago. After that we never considered anything else. We love the size of the 320 series and our CS-S is equipped with everything we could possibly need. We are coming from car camping and backpacking so this is luxurious to us. The CS-S is a bit small for a lot of people but for us, we get a larger more functional kitchen outside and a lot of storage cabinets inside.

We have a new 320 S Boondock Blackwater. It has one Li Battleborn. It has a Victron smart shunt and Victron solar controller discoverable on the app.

Yes!!! I love these changes. We live tiny on the road but want to go even smaller. Batteries are an awesome upgrade.

I think it is totally comfortable for average sized people... but really tall people might have a hard time if they like to sleep stretched out.

Our 2023 has the under-sink outlets. It's my understanding that the 2024 320 has a taller ceiling - is that true?
My 2021 has them and the pass through to the top also.
