@@victordurand3000 but his height is a big factor why he’s so good. His low center of gravity has gifted him with amazing balance and agility, which allows him to be a much more effective dribbler. If Messi was taller he wouldn’t be as good as he is. All of the best dribblers are below 6ft, the only exception I can think of is R9 and maybe younger CR7 but idk if he would be considered one of the best dribblers ever.

The main reason most people think he is well above every other player in the world probably EVER is precisely because he’s really the most complete player all around. He literally has the record for the most goals in a year, he is hands down the best dribbler you’ll see, and he is second to none both creating chances and actual assists! Literally no other player is this good in all aspects of the game. The amount of goal chances he creates year after year is ridiculous, if his teammates were half as good as him he would have double the assists and probably double the titles. The greatest passes take the most opposition players out the game. There could be 8 players in front of the ball before it's passed and a great pass will eliminate them all and leave the attacking player with only the goal keeper to beat.

Ronaldo is visibly taller than Messi so it's harder for Messi to do such in a game. That's why it's rare for Messi to score an header in football

If there are no players from the opposing team (not counting the goalie) behind the person receiving the ball at the moment the pass was kicked, it becomes a faul, and the opposition are rewarded a free kick. Essentially, you can't just have players far up on the enemy's side waiting to recieve a pass. There has to be at least one defender between him and the goalie. But Messi times his passes so perfectly that it only looks as if his teammate is the furthest player up the pitch when he passes the ball, but they're not.
