You won't be able to get special items from fishing on superflat anymore unless you build up. The bobber needs to be 4 blocks away from any solid block in any direction, or you won't get treasure. It was a nerf meant to stop afk fishing.

I think Oak and birch trees are better for flat world plays because if you grow enough of them, one of them may spawn with a beehive and then you'll have beeeeeeees
i was watching this video whilst playing my hardcore superflat, i was so distracted by the video since it was super interesting and amazing and ran into a slime and died in hardcore superflat. Im still watching the video.
They took so long because you didn't have water to push them, so their natural pathing would have to have them move over the trapdoors until there were enough to push each other. This is a great mob farm design! I have a similar one I usually build but it wouldn't work here because of the lack of water.
Hey Dan the man, i got a tip for you on minecraft, instead of bone mealing the grass block, bone meal flowers next time, it should make more of those flowers and less grass
People undererstimate how difficult Minecraft can get... No light? Make more torches! He can't... No coal and no way to make one. No water? Well to bad, you can only get iron with killing zombies. No Villagers? Good luck with that... Will take an hour, depending on skill and luck. Forget Hardcore, this is level emotional damage!

Man I can't find slime at all on my game. We are having the opposite problems. Been to 2 separate slime chunks and mined it all out and nothing. I'm on bedrock. Think I'll have to try a swamp next.
I heard you have to stay in the slime chunk for at least 3 (minecraft) days. Not sure if it’s true but I’m also having the same problem finding slimes, I just haven’t mined anything out yet
It is wracking my brain he can burn logs of wood to get charcoal to make torches. I usually don't mind but after watching the whole video. I could not understand the struggle. But I did like the video and I would to try the challenge.
If you put trap doors over your trench/mob trap more mobs will fall since they dont register the open trap door as a hole in the ground. Still at the beginning of the video so idk if ya did that or not yet 😅
You might make just a bit better videos if you got an account just to make timelapses of you with? makes stuff like chopping trees or changing big areas more fun to watch
I wonder if you knew you could have kept a witch and got zombie villagers... 😅 It may have been faster to get iron. Not sure, though, golden apples could have been harder to come by...
Are the time lapses supposed to be silent? I just heard him mention he was playing a song when cutting down trees but I've just been hearing silence during the time lapses
I remember one time when I was playing a flat world and a normal world and I got 3. Iron ingots from zombies in like 50 min but guess what it was on the normal world :(

There's a way to prevent slimes from spawning in super flat worlds in Java. Just change the height in the settings so they don't spawn.
That feels wrong... What is a super flat world without the slimes? I am just glad they fixed the glow squid spawns :D
Or just flood your world..
Superflat is the world type, changing that would be a custom world
Or just path out slime chunks

Leveling up a fisherman gives you the trade for campfire, you break it and it’s charcoal :)
Fun fact:if you drown a zombie who holds a shovel the zombie has a 100% chance of droping a full durability iron shovel

That’s only a bedrock feature, I tried that in this series when I wanted more flowers to help spawn in bees with the cherry saplings.

Minecraft is also a troll game the mobs are smarter then you think and the skeletons in hard mod are very good with there shots.

100 days of battle with the slimes.
In Minecraft Pocket Edition the only thing I can put in ur off hand is a shield and totem. And same for a Nintendo Switch.
i did a world like this on bedrock and it legit took 78 minecraft days for me to get my 7th ingot 😅 drop rates are so random
the only changes i made on my world was that I gave myself lava in a hole in the ground (no free bucket)
