@@thomasodie474 Yeah I noticed that too. I'm pretty sure it's from a crash that happened in my world that bugged and reset the day counter. Clearly I'm way passed day 16 with the amount of stuff I've gotten done so far.

I love the RuneScape player mind in the world of Minecraft.
We hoard materials.
Spend a lot of time wood cutting, mining, crafting, farming, fishing, slaying…
Spend a lot of time in our storage rooms… “bank standing”
There are a lot of parallels between the 2 games
a very subtle thing people don’t realize about making a bed when first starting a world…. if you have flowers around you make dye from them and you got all the same color wool 🤯

You probably know this by now, but diamonds in the Caves and Cliffs update have reduced air exposure, so they are less likely to spawn exposed to an air block, that way caves aren't just full of the fuckers. (1.17 snapshots were busted with dozens of diamonds everywhere in caves). But underground aquifers are filled with water, not air. So you should always check aquifers for diamonds. If they didn't reduce air exposure, then every cave would look like that aquifer did, with diamonds just everywhere.

I absolutely love the pacing of your 1000 days! I mean, it's impressive to see other TH-camrs build massive builds in a few minutes because it's all sped up, but this is so much more fun and relaxing to watch. I use it as background (the Runescape music is also very nostalgic) but sometimes I just pause my game and watch. It's a series where you can still follow it while not actively watching, and I love that! Plus, your buildstyle is very inspiring, you earned yourself a subscriber.

the spawnrate of ores increases when the blocked aren't exposed to air, and underwater doesn't count as air so a turtle shell helmet with some enchants is always awesome

Loved the content despite the fact that I would have loved to see some circled house instead of regular boxed ones for the little village. I don’t know the little houses looked amazing but somehow with the design of the crops and all, thought it would look cool😅
Just realized this was probably before the nether update, but if not, use soul lanterns instead of regular ones. Different terrains require different tactics

I don’t know if you’ve been informed yet or if you looked it up yet but most definitely diamonds spawn a lot under water. I don’t know the full details of it but I believe it has something to do with “exposure to air” or something like that.

2:20:36 this is a guess, but in buildings irl, these would typically be the exposed ends of beams used for the second story or roofing. sometimes exposed on the interior too for style reasons. without a real beam behind them, i feel like "pillar knob" is the perfect word lmfaoooo

For my basic survival worlds I turn fire off because it would suck to have a megastructure TOTALLY destroyed, but for hardcore if you die you lose everything anyway so it would seem like your house burning down is the least of your worries lol
diamonds spawn in lower quantities when exposed to air, that's why there were more in the water cave.
