This was fun! I'm retired and just into journaling. My partner in adventures and I want to avoid getting into ruts or stagnating now that our days are unstructured. We hit on the idea of starting the habit of having "a new adventure every day." It can be something big or as small as visiting a store we've never been to. I was thinking about using an A6 journal, keeping it in the car, to record our forays into the world. Thanks for the layout ideas!
I am going to start using A6 journals for diary like entries. Starting a traveler's size for a weight loss/food diary while I am on Mounjaro. And I use the B5 for planner like stuff. I do use a B5 also for my reading journal. My reading journal consists of chapter summaries. I find this useful for my ADHD to actually help remembering what I read.
The Epson ET-2820 is a fairly solid, decently priced printer that also has a scan facility and has tanks of ink that you can refill, so no cartridges to replace. I just upgraded to it after having the earlier version for more than 5 years.
Nice layouts ❤. I’ve was using an A6 for a few years, but now I’m in pocket. ( about 3 years now) I have my calendar, weather, meals, sinking funds, budget, expenses, checking account ledgers, any credit cards bills. Health tracker, sleep tracker, when did I last, and of course my dailies. I use a wonderland 222 cut down to pocket. I get about 2 months in each 192 page book. I also put in movies I watched, my orders etc. I love using smaller books. I may go back into A6 next year not sure yet. Thank you for going out of your comfort zone and showing it can be done no matter the size. Ps of course yours are so much better than mine. 😊
Thanks so much for this „not so popular format“-ideas! 🤗 For everyday „planning“ I use a Leuchtturm Calendar (with the right side of the week for notes etc 😉) in A6 and want to have also an A6 Leuchtturm (Notebook, dot grids) as a companion for the planner (for journaling/diary). To be really honest... : I had high hopes that you show some "tiny doodling" that will make a spread nicer than just the pen (it's really difficult for me to come up with ideas 😔, I'm not a creative person)
As I new retiree, I wanted to do journaling in earnest but I wanted to keep it small. I am using a passport/pocket size right but just purchased an A6 notebook. I love this size but I needed ideas on how to create A6 spreads. I was so happy to run across this video. Your ideas are amazing.
Glad you enjoyed the ideas on this one! We also have a separate video with some more ides that might be useful too 😄💜 th-cam.com/video/jk4zjuMQnIU/w-d-xo.html
The grid calculator has been great for me as I am using a handmade journal with a non-standard number of grid spaces. Seeing you work in one of these little guys kind of makes me want one LOL
Glad the grid calculator has been useful! 😄💜 While these pages have just been a trial, setting them up as made me really want to use one "for reals" too 😝
when I have 2 squares remainder I leave them on either side of the page and it keeps it looking even. (and sorry about the plethora of comments, I am watching the recording and new things keep occurring to me) XD

Wow. Thanks a million.
Only caught the last half hour or so live, so I'm back to work with you on my grad school work!
Your chair sounded like a cat meowing. LOL
Haha 😂 It kinda does, yeah 😝

I'm really curious to see how you'd organize Monthly and Weekly spreads.
In a pocket size in particular? 😊 we have our “finished” flip through of this one of the channel with layouts for those if that help 😄💜
Clean bathroom should be broken down into parts ie. clean toilet, clean shower, clean basin and bench, clean floors
100% agree and excellent idea 💜 I think I'll be implementing that in the next version of my tracker. Thanks Haffina! 😄
Can you share the dot grid calculator? Its love to use it.
That one is over at jashii.com/products/grid-spacing-calculator 💜😄
If your HP printer is registered for the HP Ink subscription it may not accept an ink cartridge that isn't part of the subscription service.
Sadly not the case 😅 that would have been a nice solution!
Not happy Jan 😂
A classic 😂
