Hey Frank, I found this free one modeled off of Big Five.. What do you think? It also has the other tests ex. DISC, Mbti, etc. but i haven't checked those out yet. Anyway this one went into the breakdown of percentages within the 5 categories also. Curious on your opinion if your interested in checking it out:

Hello Frank, I enjoyed your ways on video and want to defend you, claiming that that big-5 test is not covering the truth at all. The human being is much bigger than that, only psychology ends with...psychology, the soul, but doesn't cover the spirit.
Now, I don't know the test you paid to do, but I did Jordan Peterson's Self-authoring Suite, enthusiastically expectant after all positive I head and read about it. Without his engaged presence, its text was not really speaking to my soul, and I got pretty stressed and sour at how that program was made, mainly that one could only write 2000 words, was then cut off,- without it saying at start , so that one could have made another disposition. He said one could write as much as one liked, which was not true. One also got no help to get in touch with one's inner self and life, and being isolated and sick, down, I didin't get in touch with my life, but wrote rather mechanically. So that great thing was not great for me, - just said as a parallel.
The big 5-test_ Please don't take it as 100% truth about you, because it is not! The free one I did 2 times, is kind of superficial, uses common language and simple sentences and examples that I didn't feel comfortable with. And the whole narrow way of answering yes and no in various degrees, wirthout the possibility of BOTH, - in different life-situations, moods, aspects of truth! Also, a very modest human might under-report, and there is room for very individual interpretations of their questions/implications. F example liking to go to parties may depend on what kind of aprties it is, how much isoaltion one has been oín, how much one feels like seeing people in a simpler way just at some time, and if one has had serious one -to-one talks, one may feel like a party even if it is not one's normal style.
As for agreeableness, there is such a big difference if it is a co-dependent, harmless, immature kid of human or an inwardly active, healing, present one, so the answers don't really tell that much.
If i may say something personal, i thought you seem a very nice man and got far too low scores , f ex extroversion: Unless you are very different in real life not on videos, I donä't think you should have that high score on introversion. Or am I wrong to think one is more inhibited then also?
As for conscientiousness, that also seems to be too low score for you, both your room, your appearance and your organized speech/soul doesn't seem to correspond very much to that, even if one brushes up a bit for the video, hahaha!
Neuroticism are you really that high? How would you be a woman trapped in a mans body, I don't think so.
I can't quite get whether you really take this test seriously and recommend it (I have Aspergers) or if you are being cynical about it really. because you don'ät seem to take your results hard, but seem very relaxed about them.
I think that test seems to be an insult to your real self. And it doesn't take into account that ppl can do it before or after nerve-healing. and all sorts of situations that will not convey the real personality.
I am highly agreeable really, but not so much because of extreme long-term stress, exhaustion, being life-threateningly abused, living in dangerous, uncertainty all the time and have got fearful-aggressive, stressed, sleep deprived, and cant be a s nice as I really am. It is a Q of energy and nerve strength.
Ill hear more vids by you, it was pleasant , your calm sense. Stay yourself.

In my opinion i guess a lot of INFJ will share a quite similar composition, very high level of neuroticism and openness. And unfortunately those are like opposing traits, we're helplessly curious about a lot of things and have a huge desire to explore new field but at the same time our neuroticism tends to hold ourself back because of the obsessive thoughts like "what if bad things happen," "what if i'm doing it wrong" "what will other people say", etc so we unconsciously contradict ourself in daily basis. That's probably how we start to feel overwhelmed :'). I previously found a video of Jordan Peterson explaining that having these two opposing traits in high level will likely make us stressed, so we have to maintain our conscientiousness in moderate level in order to balance that by building routinity and stick to that pattern. IMHO establishing a routine will help us feel grounded and may prevent our brain to perpetually fall into those never-ending contradiction ^^

Don't listen to Jordan Peterson. He's a fraud and a swindler, and a troll in a respectable suit. He uses psychology to piggyback politics, and if I'd have turned in one of his papers into my uni, it would have been instant F. It looks impressive, sounds impressive, but it's not the real deal.

@@johnknight9150 I am aware of his criticisms, best done by Nathan Robinson in his article "The Intellectual we Deserve" (heard about it in a Noam Chomsky podcast). Anyways the main point Nathan keeps repeating in that is that JP doesn't say anything much new or extremely profound (bear responsibility, speak truth etc, etc,) and the other things he claims to be more insightful is pretty flawed, but the simpler things that he advocates (bear responsibilities, speak truth, freedom of speech and equality in opportunity not in outcome), not many people were advocating them befor him which are crucially important topics ... Nathan blamed education institutions and some other things for it ... therefore JP is a "Intellectual we Deserve" ... There are some critisisms of this article too ...

      @johnknight9150 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@dhruvgupta794 Well that stuff's all relatively subjective, I'd rather point to something objectively verifiable and not simply open to interpretation.
For an example, if you take his appearance on Dr Oz (already a bad combination!), found here:
      th-cam.com/video/i-Eb76X3upk/w-d-xo.html
....he shows the audience the Big Five system and what their personality type is based on the Big Five model.
This is absolutely not how the Big Five system works. People aren't "Extroverted Types" or "Openness Types". The Big Five system works by using a combination of five personality factors, based on Extroversion, Agreeableness, Openness, Conscientiousness, and Neuroticism. Each is a sliding scale, and a researcher receives measurements in all five scales.
Conclusions are then drawn by what your readings are in all the scales, and the scales all work together. For instance, people prone to a certain kind of mental illness might be high in one particular scale and low in another. Or people with a particular political preference might be high on two scales and low on two others, etc. etc.
This is First Year, First Term, First Semester, Psych 101 stuff that any psychology student knows. Jordan Peterson knows darn well that this is not how the Big Five model works, but he has come up with this supermarket magazine nonsense, presumably to get a nice appearance fee on national television, but that's speculation.

When I was a kid, I visited a wheat farm. On this farm, as with lots of farms, old homestead houses and barns were scattered around.i remember walking to this abandoned house probably 2 stones throw away from my family. It was a very small, 2 story house, old as shit, disrepair, last used probably 50 years ago. As I walked in, I felt this invisible wave go through me, made me feel a little nauseous. I had this distinct feeling I was being watched. There was no reason for this feeling, but it did not go away until I left the house. Have you experienced anything like that?

Sup Frank, I hope you are well. I wanted to drop by to say I appreciate how well you are able to articulate the quirks and contradictions that crop up for us. It's uncanny. I can't tell if there are other INFJs thinking "Shit, my dishes piled up and then I moved city shortly after..." or if it's just me, but there seems to be something so relatable in other INFJs as if we are all struggling separately together. Not in a negative way. It feels like a blessing to recognize the depth. That's where I think the Big 5 misses the mark for us. It doesn't give us the meaning portion that INFJs crave. It just sets us against others quantitatively when we feel qualitatively different, or we feel like we notice that other people may be thinking way differently. We certainly feel, I think, that other people are not as aware of their own thoughts as we are of our own, and theirs too. I did the test on another site and received similarly higher scores in Openness and Neuroticism, but I don't find those descriptions comprehensive or a description of what's going on when I'm about info and it's coming in. Reading an INFJ profile, it feels extremely meaningful and my spidey senses start tinglging. I can't get through it without giggling in recognition of what's going on here. It could just be that I care more for concepts than math, and I'm missing the point and need to do more work. Anyway, I'd love to hear your thoughts if you get the time. Thanks for more videos; using them like mirrors to go deeper. Take care and sending positive thoughts and love.

Hey Frank! Great videos! Just a little "math geekin" here but Percentiles work differently then percentages they operate on a bell curve. 60th percentile means better then average for intellect and 25 th percentile isn't really bad for orderliness it means if you put you in a random group of 4 people you'd probably be the least orderly of 4 ... the really low and really high percentiles make you an extreme outlier. Though assuming they are accurate 4 th percentile conscientiousness and 97 percentile neuroticism would probably make it a safe bet that your I.Q is high given the state of your channel.

Awsome video. Lol. I had someone explain that I’m an “extroverted introvert” which means I can be the life of the party, I’m not shy at all. But if I don’t get two days on the weekend on my remote ranch, talking to no one, then I hate the world and am totally exhausted. I have to listen to birds chirp and ride my horses or I can’t recharge my battery. It is confusing that you don’t have to be shy and can be confident and still be introverted. Still hard to drag me to a party, the holidays arrrrg! Exhausting, fun, exhausting!

Worth noting that your worry and guilt regarding conscientiousness likely is a result of the pairing of 0th percentile industriousness and high neuroticism. Each trait is interesting on it's own, but the way they interact is also very informative IMO.

As someone with ADHD (and INFP), I really resonate with the feelings about the “conscientiousness” category. I believe a lot of people with adhd score low not because of their lack of dutifulness (so we still have a lot of guilt) but lack of executive function.

One of the reasons you''re guilt-ridden is you feel like you should work more and you don't, thus scoring 4% on conscientiousness. The reason test description states people low on conscientiousness are less guilt-ridden is because they don't have a sense of duty. But as INFJ you do have sense of duty, because you wanna do the right thing. The reason we as INFJ feel guilt is because we always connect "duty now" with "future ideal we see in ourselves". So you are more conscientiousness. Another question is why you don't act accordingly on realizing your future ideal you. And INFJs usually don't act because they don't yet fully believe in their future ideal them, though they usually have a picture of what they ought to be.

Atta boy! Next time, work hard on those 0 and 100 percent scores, so some of us can feel a little more secure about ourselves :) How useful is the Big Five? Not very, imo. I took a class in Personality Psych in college before all this hit the internet. As I recall, there's some interpersonal drama and competition in the roots of personality psych suc h that the conclusion of the entire class was basically: take what's useful. Big Five is the flash-in-the-pan. I scored so high on Openness to Experience as to indicate underlying Neuroticism. I was in *college.*

Second, I tend to agree with the people who say that the test will yield a different result depending on when you take it. Have you looked at 16personalities.com ? My results for that was an "advocate", for the MBTI, I am an INFJ. But I have taken others and they come short of labeling me a psychopath. Which depending on the situation, I can't strictly deny. I am the nicest, meanest, loving, psychopath there is.
    I can live with that.

I scored: Openness 100%, Conscientiousness 31%, Extraversion 56%, Agreeableness 56%, Neuroticism 100%. Final answer: The free test is pretty much garbage. The "Core Pattern" was correct with the dominant trait of "Empathic Idealist: Uses insight and creativity to help others. Thinks about how the world could be a better and more beautiful place." But the remaining three seemed to focus pretty heavily on innovative thinking, everyday practicality, accuracy and efficiency in logical systems. That's all sounding like reflections of the first, or in other words, what I wish were true in an ideal world. I am, afterall, a QA tester. I would also love to fix all the problems I see in the world, but I rarely act on these ideas. And I'm not a freaking extravert just because I talk too much!!!

I think most comedians are highly neurotic.....I took the test because my highest was openness however I’ve been binge watching these typology excursions and I’m close to synthesizing it all and reading the comments is highly helpful! Seems that we are essentially and deeply all the same! Just different expressions of that sameness. We all are human with a spirit from god knows where which has a common purpose and EVEBODYhas something important to bring to the table....even if it’s to open the doors of gratitude that I am not that I’m not that screwed up ( example....serial killer). Oh. Ha ha. The purpose.....well....it’s to love as best as you can and especially yourself so you can do that well-er. Oh and who doesn’t appreciate a comedian? It lightens the intensity up and quite a lot!

LOL :) Mike Myers (SNL) described it well- "situation specific introvert." A well-rounded person has characteristics that have previously been characterized as traditionally male or traditionally female. Maybe neuroticism is their way of saying that we are very sensitive and aware of ourselves sometimes to the degree that it effects our interacting with others? I accept that...
