I also think Sae said about Isagi that he would be able to change Japan because he finally realized that talented learners can beat people with natural talent and he would also prefer to play as a midfielder to provide the "talented" with the goals
I also think Sae said about Isagi that he would be able to change Japan because he finally realized that talented learners can beat people with natural talent and he would also prefer to play as a midfielder to provide the "talented" with the goals
True Sae knows it before all of them, it’s only now isagi found the difference in talented learners and geniuses. But yes Sae knows it once he went to Spain before. Good theory
To me it felt like Sae had no intention to shut Rin out at first, but as Rin went on and on about their dream, it caused Sae to become extremely frustrated w Rin, since Rin kept reminding Sae of his faliure. As time went on and they met up again on the field, Sae understood Rins destructive playstyle and fed into the tough love role you described throughout the video.
yeah, Sae was saying he'd be best midfielder for Rin to be best striker, in their reunion. In a way, Sae still believed Rin could become the best and he was willing to support him. But Rin kept on going about their dreams and Sae got pissed off Rin was willing to settle as "2nd best," and making his(rin's) entire identity as the "little brother." As Sae said it himself, around the lines "don't even use me as an excuse to keep playing soccer"
I don’t actually think anything bad happened to sae at real. I say this because if sae was really crushed he would’ve washed out of the academy and gone back to Japan. Instead he stayed at real and adjusted to fit his actual dream of being the best midfielder. Sae never actually wanted to be the best striker. When he tells Rin he wants to play with him he says it because he knows Rin can score goals if he passes to him. Sae from day one was more focused on dominating the field through logic and his intellect rather than through scoring goals. Thus when he got to real as a striker he quickly realized it wasn’t what he wanted because there’s people around him (genius’s) who are much more committed to becoming a pure striker and hold far more natural talent. Because of this sae would’ve gone through a grind to stay on the team but he wouldn’t have been crushed. We forget that sae is ridiculously talented as well and works harder than most of the cast. He would’ve been able to keep up with the genius‘s at Madrid if he wanted to but instead he switched places. I think Sae realized that he could control genius’s as a midfielder (what he actually wants) to score goals for his team and win at any cost. That’s actually why he picked Shidou for the U20 game. Shidou is a goal poacher who sits around the box waiting for an opportunity to score. He can’t create his own plays but can capitalize on any opportunity given to him. Sae would’ve realized this trait and that as a midfielder he could be the general of a team and allow his logic to truly shine through and get them wins. That’s why he was exhausted when he got back to Japan because he’s effectively playing as the entire team in his head each time he heads out to the pitch. It’s exhausting and it’s why he wants a striker like him (a talented learner) who can take some of the burden off and allow them to create super plays. That’s why he originally asked Rin to continue his dream of being number one and why he was so disgusted when Rin said no. Only a player with their own passion for the game separate from personal obsessions can bring a team to victory like him. Isagi just realized that and sae saw that spark in the U20 game. It’s why he thinks Isagi, not Rin, will save Japanese football, because Isagi thinks and scores on his level as a striker. If Isagi can do more than just capitalize on Sae’s passes, but also create his own plays, then Sae will have his perfect striker. Someone who can think without his guidance and command a team alongside him with unbeatable logic. Rin showed Sae the exact opposite. That he can never think without Sae at his side or in his mind meaning he’d never take the next step as a striker. It’s why Sae disowned him, both out of legitimate disgust but also out a desire to see Rin abandon his obsession with him. Sae still has hope for Rin to be the next best but for him to do that he needs to abandon his obsession with Sae and play without his conscious.
12:15 I dont think sae fake shut out Rin i think he was genuinely pissed that Rin could give up so easily he realized Rin had been using him as a crutch which is hwy he was disappointed to see Rin still using him as a reason to play soccer in the u20 match
it could be, but it makes much more sense to me that it's false because Sae is extremely calculating, it wouldn't be very like him to show his feelings like that
@@fufus_cryingcat I mean yeah sure, NOW. But back then Sae was still extremely close with his brother and could still be open to him. However after that I doubt Rin will ever see that side of Sae again
I feel the scene in their flashback where Rin would always get "you win" after eating his popsicle and Sae would get "you lose" is probably a metaphor relating to geniuses vs talented learners
@@imranenmanny1574 Holy hell you and @Masebennetts are the dumbest people I've encountered in this fandom. Kaiser is LITERALLY genius. No one has Kaiser Impact.
@@imranenmanny1574 Sae is clearly a talented learner. This is showcased because he had been playing soccer as long as we can tell. He formulated a logical playstyle based on what he thinks is the best way to win each game. Rin on the other hand just showed up in one of Sae's games with no practice and instantly made a goal. Sae seems like a genius because of how insane he is, but that's only because he's continued polishing his skills for a long ass time. If you actually think about it, it's not like Sae has ever made any inhuman plays like Rin, Shidou, or Nagi who are geniuses. He just makes accurate and logical plays.
I think the reason why he changed positions was because he realized that his skills and wepons are better suited as a midfielder and he didn't want to stagnate on his true potential, so he reshaped his dream of being the best but in a different position so he can become the best version of himself
@fcvitoshasofia4481 1. He doesn't hate his brother, and 2. The reason why he said that was to motivate him to be better and one of the best ways to try to be better is trying to be better than someone you absolutely hate
I love these theories so much. I can see you've done so much research into each of these and they always turn out so good and even true on some scales. Glad to see if this theory will be true in the future.
1 thing people don’t mention is that in the youth league Sae was an amazing striker he scored a hat trick and that rin even comments that he sees him on tv all the time, thus he would have noticed if he had played midfield. This mean it’s possible that in that night he made the decision to swap to mid fielder was right then and there
Sae thinks that there is a metaphysical thing that separates strikers from other footballers. He came to the same conclusion that Isagi did recently, but in a more intuitive sense. It definitely wasn’t as thought out as Isagi’s theory. At Madrid he realised he was not a genius but instead that he was a talented learner, and that his skills were better suited to be a midfielder. He realised that strikers are more likely to be geniuses and that the ones he met in Spain were far more talented. On the wiki, it says that on his last ever day, he would want to make the best pass to the world’s best striker for a goal. I think he adjusted himself to become a midfielder to help and provide inspiration for those genius strikers, that which he couldn’t find in Japan. Which is why he chose Shidou over Rin. He can directly control Shidou as he can’t really create his own chances, and also Rin had not awakened yet. He knew Rin was more of an instinctual player and so was disappointed when he came back and saw he had barely improved and that Rin was still using him as the reason to play football. Everything he has done up until now has been to try and bring out Rin’s potential. But also Sae doesn’t know that Rin took his words personally, and hates him now. According to Kaneshiro, during the U20 arc Sae thinks they’re cool now, and doesn’t get why Rin is so mad and thinks it’s just a phase he is going through. Rin doesn’t think that his relationship with Sae is totally destroyed, as he said that he would make Sae realise their dream. So he thinks that if he proves himself by beating Sae and becomes the best striker, that their relationship will be healed and he will finally be able to let go of his grudge.
i don't think he got humbled or anything but rather his ego was never about scoring Goal , he never looked happy scoring a goal in those flashback plays but you can literally see that astonishment and curiousity when Rin scored on that pass Sae made in the flashback . I think the only change that being at Real made was him identifying his true Ego and changing positions . According to me , his Ego is like " I want the best strikers in the world to beg for passes from me , they would rather do anything to have me as their passer , I will control those best strikers through my abilities and passes "
I think you nailed it on the head to be honest. I never thought of it that way. But everyone shows ego In their own way. Aiku is a great example. He’s not a striker, he’s a defender and yet his ego literally prevents him from being a top tier scorer because he’s arguably one of the best defenders in the story.
I think Sae and Isagi has almost the same story. Both don’t have strength nor speed but have eyes that control the game. They are forced to use meta vision to be on the team in order to score goals. That is what changed Itoshi Sae’s goal from becoming a striker to becoming a midfielder. He has no strength to win headers in the box or the speed to beat defenders but he has vision and can bring out the best out of everyone in the team. Just what Isagi is going through now. Lack in physical abilities but can dictate the game with his vision.Even Noel Noa has called him the next “Luka Modric”
@@Motion4lproductions isagi has S tier positioning and off the ball, great passing (around A to A+ tier), very good defense (mostly intercepts but still great nonetheless), his dribbling has gotten way better (around A to A- tier) since the start of the NEL and has trained himself to be ambidextrous (work in progress)
If they thought out the philosophy from that far back, then I believe reveal of the guy who shut Sae's dream will be epic. I saw a theory in the youtube, the guy said that the player who changed Sae is the 1st student of Ego, the experiment that went wrong and he decided to do it right in his 2nd attempt with Blue Lock
It's not only the fact that he's a talented learner (Isagi and Kaiser also are and have great potential to become the number 1 striker), but the overall kind of player Sae is. The way he play, his dribbling, passes, vision, etc fits perfectly with a midfielder. He probably realized that he couldn't be the best when he played with Luna and saw what requires to be a top striker.
Same thing that almost happened to isagi he was overwhelmed seeing all the talent from overseas seeing player like Julien Loki who are literally monsters, when you see players like that even if you’re a good player yourself you still feel you can never match them and it was worse for Sae because unlike isagi he’s ego probably isn’t that strong, Ego made the blue lockers have stronger egos and that’s why even though the face such threats the still push on but Sae never had that luxury he had to face reality all on his own with his undeveloped ego
the important part you're forgetting was that isagi learns from live examples , unlike any other player, he learned from the example of kaiser where kaiser basically "abandoned his obsession" of beating isagi and then abandoned something which he called " admiration for noa" and yes sae kind of went alone to a country with everyone different while isagi has his blue lock friends here to support and motivate him
@ yeah that too but the main point is he basically went in blind with an undeveloped ego for talented learners it’s really hard to maintain your ego when you see people like Loki do what you do but way better without any effort
There is something fascinating about seeing a character who has to alter there dreams because of the pressure that was placed on them. It makes Sae feel more like a real person, although I like characters like Luffy it can get annoying seeing a character who sticks so stubbornly to there dream that they almost never question or alter there dream.
I totally agree with this and it shows the difference with Isagi and why Isagi is the MC. Isagi too got told by Noa he would be a good midfielder, assisting the goals of geniuses, and had the crushing realization of not having the natural talent of people like Rin and Shidou. But this is where the stories of Sae and Isagi diverge because Isagi still pushed himself forward (thanks to his experience in Blue Lock and thanks to seeing Kaiser) and is now showing talented learners can be great strikers and compete with geniuses, while Sae "gave up" on being a striker, believing his only option to be No.1 was to become a midfielder. It's not necessarily that Sae made the wrong choice for himself, but more about how Isagi is proving this mentality of "only geniuses can succeed at being strikers" wrong, while Sae took a step back. Considering Kaneshiro confirmed Sae is watching NEL, I wonder what will be his reaction if Isagi manages to get an offer higher than Rin, seeing proof that a talented learner can beat a genius. Also I agree with the idea of Sae being the talented learner who discovered Rin's genius and who wanted to play with him to bring his talent out
Remember in the very first episode Ego's claim that "you can train first rate defenders, midfielders, and goalkeepers, but strikers are different..." He's saying that the best strikers are necessarily geniuses, which is also how Sae feels. Isagi's character is setup as a direct counterexample to this logic, and I think the story will end with him proving Ego and Sae wrong.
To be fair I. The manga right now Isagi is going wild with the new things he learns he’s probably on the level of professional soccer player maybe even higher
I think Sae realize since he saw Rin shoot for the first time. He probably decided to be best MF even before going to Real. He go to Real to be a better player that can match with Rin genius. Sae might just want to play together with Rin in bigger stage. I assume that everything he does is for his brother.
i think he was more likely fast to realize that even the strongest of strikers NEED a strong supporting figure on the field with them or they won’t be able to prosper. Remember the same way Aiku believed the biggest of strikers STILL NEED their aces in the back so they can ONLY think about the goal
if Kaiser is supposed to be on par with Sae as a fellow New Gen 11. In recent chapters, it is pretty much confirmed that Rin is above Kaiser so does it mean that Rin has surpassed Sae? The whole NEL arc is making Kaiser look like a fraud.
Kaiser Ain't a fraud he was only stopped by isagi who has the MC power , Lorenzo who is a Genius CB , Charles , Rin in which rin is a genius who destroys a team solo but Kaiser is a talented learner who wants the entrie team to revolve around him to do his best
Actually its the opposite. Kaiser looks like a fraud against PXG because the Bastard team now basically Isagi's. Before, his team provided him a great pass and teamwork so he can score. However, with Blue Lock players in the team, he had to work pretty much on his own considering how even Ness kinda useless now. Keep in mind, while its true Rin destroyed everyone, he isnt exactly going on his own. He had people support him left and right. Even Barou would destroy anyone if everyone centered around him. It looks to me that Rin is lucky to have a team to actually support his crazy ego and went with it. Personally, I still think the best and most skilled player in Blue Lock is Barou. But he had so much issue that he pretty much getting the same treatment as Shidou, if not worse. I mean Ego had plans and tactics for Rin and Shidou but for Barou just, "yo, you're so weird and I dont know what tactics works with you around so just do your own thing, ignore everyone and score".
it might look like this. But befre NEL< kaiser used to get passes and score. But now he has to fight for the ball and also fight with BL players. OTher people would have had a hard time dealing it, but he is holding it pretty good. Plus, he is also evolving like our main characters like currently, when he blocked the shot of rin with Isagi
@@HeavenlyNekoOfficialThink with me. You know that Ubers revolve around Barou when it comes to attack right? But thats because it's their strategy to "center around" Barou, thats what made the team really destroy others and etc. But in PXG case, they forcefully had to do it in case with Rin because he made in with his ego and doing everything on his own, making them have no option other than to obey and make passes for him to score, making in that way, even Shidou getting useles to the team having Rin making everything.
This is such an interesting theory and I love the idea of Sae shutting out Rin to keep his ego 'alive' so that he can have the chance at becoming the #1 striker
In Ao Ashi there's this character (I think his name is Gato) in Barcelona's Academy, during their match against the mc their coach thought he wasn't playing well. So after half time the coach permanently changed his position from a winger to a fullback. He had no say in this and he had to play fullback if he wants to continue his dreams. Maybe Sae experienced something similar and just accepted it along the way.
I think that Sae's words to Rin about Isagi have multiple layers behind it. First of all, earlier in the u20 match, Sae told Isagi that he likes his brain. This was probably the moment that Sae realized that Isagi was a talented learner like himself. The reason why he told Rin that Isagi has what it takes is clearly to motivate Rin to establish a rivalry with Isagi, but that's not all. Sae says that Isagi brought out Rin's latent potential, and that he can change Japan. This relates back to how talented learners bring out the talents of geniuses. I think Sae from that moment is using Isagi as a talented learner to bring out Rin's potential as a genius. I don't believe that Sae actually thinks Isagi will become the best striker, he thinks that Isagi will be the fire that will ignite Rin's ego and ultimately lead him to becoming the best in the world. This is actually a mirror of how Ego picked Rin while Sae picked Shidou. Before Rin's destroyer mode, you could honestly make the argument that Rin's playstyle was way more like a talented learner, because he emulates his brother's calm and collected style of play. I think this disappointed Sae, and he picked Shidou because he exemplified the genius playstyle much more than Rin at the time. However, now that Rin's genius ego has awakened, I think Sae will believe he'll become the best striker, while Ego will switch his pick from Rin to Isagi, because Ego stated that TL can compete with geniuses. Basically, Sae believes in geniuses while I think Ego believes more in talented learners.
Sae Itoshi he's my 4th favourite character his too good while holding back his dribbling shooting passing vision crossing technique are 🔥🔥 imagine him at full potential⚽🧠 Plus he's got Aura
I think it's much easier than that. Sae's talents are clearly way more suited to be a midfielder than a striker. His stay in Real showed him that he was unfit for his original dream and thus forced him to rebuild his whole mentality.
Since the two strikers we've seen from Spain are Lavinho and Luna, it's fair to say that the concept of 'dribbling by feel' is what crushed Sae's striker ego, as it is a form of genius common in Spain that he can't analyze rationally. But I feel like there's a concept here that's always been floating around but everyone forgot: Strikers are supposed to warp the field of play around themselves. Fundamentally, Sae does this. His biases determine who scores, when, and how. Shidou, by contrast, only attracts attention without contributing anything to the texture of the play. Sae calls Rin ignorant for thinking that talent as a striker is the only thing that matters, and while a crushed ego is the obvious conclusion, it may also be that 'modern' soccer lets midfielders lord over strikers in an unnatural way. If Sae came to view the position of midfielder as "more valuable" than striker, him switching goals makes sense, and his view that Isagi will revolutionize Japanese soccer by awakening new strikers takes on a different meaning to what one would first assume. So I have to wonder if the brand of soccer Ego is striving to create, where the striker takes the center stage, would rub Sae the wrong way. I look forward to seeing it when we see him again.
Nice vid! I have a simpler theory) It's based solely on my thoughts and feelings. So basically Sae is devastated when he arrives in Japan, his dream crushed and all of that. He goes to his younger brother in who he sees a sort of reincarnation for his dream, cuz Sae believes that Rin has what it takes to become the best striker. Then, things gets emotional and both ends and Rin says that he doesn't want to play soccer anymore. So imagine, someone you love, who dedicated their entire life to a one singular thing and the one you believe can become the best in it, the one who can actually fulfill your dream is ready to discard all of it, just cuz of a decision you made. I would feel pretty mad, ngl. Maybe in Sae's case mad enough to completely cut ties with someone Hope this makes sense 😋
In season one, episode 16.. Ego explains what happens. When he tells them they don’t want a prodigy, they want a celebrity. If you listen closely he explains what I think happened to Sae
My logic also runs around this idea. Sae definitely understood Rin's genius and when Rin's insisted on being the 2nd best striker and being the brother of "The Itoshi Sae", it ticked off Sae; cause he genuinely wanted Rin to be no.1 striker! So he took the hard way(Itachi way) of dealing with his brother and always works against his brother to let him grow(match against Blue lock, picking Shidou who is enemy of Rin etc)!
I mean this does exist in real life. Personally as a coach, I have a few players who need a target and aren't motivated by simply telling them they can reach their goals. One of my players seriously locked in when I told him he can't win like he is now (literal anime line) but it worked😂😂
Pr instead of luna (who would be in his 20’s by that time), Loki could fit as someone who crushed sae’s dream perhaps during a national youth tournament/championship as they’d be around the same age group
I think like Ego said , the wall of the talented is something one needs to scale to truly understand one’s dream Like Isagi did , Sae must also have faced that wall , and instead of sticking with his current dreams by adapting like isagi did , he chose to change his dream to one which was more achievable from his POV
Lowkey Sae and Rin's dynamic feels like Itachi and Sasuke from Naruto. You had a loving older brother and younger brother who looked up to said older brother but as time passes on Older brother changes and teaches younger brother to hate him so he can become better than him.
Tbh i feel like this theory is pretty good but i think have one similar to this so as we know throughout the manga chapter where it talks about talented learners i think when Sae got to spain he had realized that are better players then him and thought of them as geniuses and himself as a talented learner and the nightsnow moment with Rin i think at the time he was kinda stressed out because if you pook really closely you can see bags under his eyes and Rin comments on how he got skinner and i think Sae still really cares for Rin but doesn't show it because he says how Rin could become the best striker in the world and he would become the best midfielder and Rin probably didnt understand why he would give up his dream with him and i think when Rin yelled at him about it Sae was kinda hurt because in the backstory when Rin yells at Sae about giving up their dream Sae's eyes widen and looks like he's a bit hurt and as for him shutting out Rin he's probably doing that because he wanted Rin to realize his true potential and also how he cant use Sae as an excuse to play soccer he probably didnt want Rin to quit and still work for his dream to become the best in the world and also during the U-20 Sae already knew Rin's potential to reach the dream of being the best striker when Rin's destroyer mode comes out and Sae already recognizes that mode from a long time ago
Sae sjmply found the wall that ego spoke of and he failed to overcome it so he decided to become a midfielder as it was the compromise for his love of playing football and his previous dream of becoming the n1 striker
In summary, Sae found out that he couldn't become a number 1 striker because he met someone who humbled him so bad that he went through a depression arc
my theory : if we parallel it to the real world (which it might just be) then he joins the real madrid academy, soon he realises that as a striker there is no way to make it to rma 1st team as real madrid usually just buy big name strikers instead of acadmy prospects, so he changes his dreams inorder to atleast have a chance to make into 1st team some how.
Yo hiryo build me your Ultimate Blue Lock Player you can choose any 5 players from the series but you can only use 2 traits skills etc from each of them Here are my picks Isagi-his upgraded metavision and adaptability Nagi-his insane talent and ball control Loki-his unbeatable speed and dribbling Reo-his complete versatility and the chameleon Aiku-his defensive skills and physique
We have the same theory. The moment Sae told Rin to become the #1 striker, I knew he still cared for Rin and he lowkey is trying to awaken Rin's genius abilities. After the U-20 match Sae told Rin that Isagi will change Japan's soccer for that same reason. To challenge Rin more since Rin longs for Sae's acknowledgement. I don't see any other reason why Sae would approach Rin just to tell him that. I think Sae realized that in order to be the best striker, one has to have huge ego. That's why he went for the Itachi approach.
Imagine if Rin just agreed being the no.1 striker along with Sae being the no.1 midfielder, they would have just been potentially the strongest duo but Rin just wanted that drama 🤦
Ngl this reminds me of how itachi got ordered to kill his and sasukes familly infront of him and made sasuke hate itachi to motivate him to kill itachi
5:22 sae is a genius. its most likely that he didnt get playtime as a striker, faced racism due to pressure, or couldnt keep up with the game and was forced to switch positions.
Keep in mind that when sae left players like messi ronaldo benzema bale griezmann and suarez and probably neymar were still in that league. Due to his skill he was probably invited to practice with the first team and saw he was nowhere near their level.
This video is off. Mid filder is a striker. They can score a goal wanted to. They are the commander of the field. They bring the ball up them self and score or pass to the player to score. Also, they are defenders, too. Sai choose mid basicly because he can everything in the game or consider best there is
It's been hinted many times that Sae lost against a superior striker or maybe he got a taste of the reality that the top strikers isn't something he can achieve. I believe he thinks his ego isn't fit for becoming the World's Best Striker. That's the reason why he believes in Rin and Rin's destructive ego. Remember Rin stealing a goal when he was not even a player during Sae's match as a kid? Sae was shocked to see his bro make that play. Guess that was the first time he realized that Rin has superior potential, and his ego had the chances of going against the world's bests.
I think he just realised that his talent lied better else where and wanted to be able to be a key figure in proving and providing the next generation by being a key player to pass and play with the future of Japan and football hence why at the end of the u20 match he saw what he was looking for in Isagi , I think he could be the best striker but wanted to be the best in the world and on the team by being in a midfield role
I think sae was mad cuz he realize that rin would be the best striker because of his genius type and that him has no chance to change that fact. And that’s why he speak him so bad and change his goal
i feel like sae is pulling an itachi for rin because he realises rin is a genius and he isnt so if he can push him to become a talented learner too he can truly become the best in the world surpassing sae

I don’t actually think anything bad happened to sae at real. I say this because if sae was really crushed he would’ve washed out of the academy and gone back to Japan. Instead he stayed at real and adjusted to fit his actual dream of being the best midfielder.

I don’t get it
Idk I feel like there both geniuses only talented learner is really Isagi and Kaiser
@@imranenmanny1574 Nah, I definitely think Sae is a talented learner, tbh..
💯💯💯
Yes why would THAT be a reason to hate your brother.. its not like striker is another sport
@fcvitoshasofia4481 1. He doesn't hate his brother, and 2. The reason why he said that was to motivate him to be better and one of the best ways to try to be better is trying to be better than someone you absolutely hate
nah bru he looked wayyy too washed to just "switch" dreams
I love these theories so much. I can see you've done so much research into each of these and they always turn out so good and even true on some scales. Glad to see if this theory will be true in the future.
mee too🥰
1 thing people don’t mention is that in the youth league Sae was an amazing striker he scored a hat trick and that rin even comments that he sees him on tv all the time, thus he would have noticed if he had played midfield. This mean it’s possible that in that night he made the decision to swap to mid fielder was right then and there
This makes so much sense,I'm sure it'll be something close to that in the backstory
Watched one of your videos yesterday and today and subscribed you are the only person that when explains something I can understand
i don't think he got humbled or anything but rather his ego was never about scoring Goal , he never looked happy scoring a goal in those flashback plays but you can literally see that astonishment and curiousity when Rin scored on that pass Sae made in the flashback .
I think the only change that being at Real made was him identifying his true Ego and changing positions . According to me , his Ego is like
" I want the best strikers in the world to beg for passes from me , they would rather do anything to have me as their passer , I will control those best strikers through my abilities and passes "
Lack in physical abilities but can dictate the game with his vision.Even Noel Noa has called him the next “Luka Modric”
sae is a way better technical player then isagi. isagi honestly has no skill beside reading the field and a direct shot.
@@Motion4lproductions 💯

Come on Itachi is no weak like sae that he would change his dream
@@ketros-oz7rx how is he weak? His dream was to become the BEST in the world. Not as a striker rn but as a midfielder. Same goal, different path
Some people think the wristbands Sae was wearing in his introductions were the white and black anti-racism bands, so he might’ve experienced Spain
The theory is pretty realistic, but the reasoning of the wristbands seem like a stretch to me..Who knows? It could be intentional, too, but I doubt it
It's not only the fact that he's a talented learner (Isagi and Kaiser also are and have great potential to become the number 1 striker), but the overall kind of player Sae is. The way he play, his dribbling, passes, vision, etc fits perfectly with a midfielder. He probably realized that he couldn't be the best when he played with Luna and saw what requires to be a top striker.
Never stated
@sonofthechosenone4335 it's pretty easy to deduce.
@@choolwe5564 yeah
There is something fascinating about seeing a character who has to alter there dreams because of the pressure that was placed on them.
It makes Sae feel more like a real person, although I like characters like Luffy it can get annoying seeing a character who sticks so stubbornly to there dream that they almost never question or alter there dream.

BRUH I'M WAITING FOR YOUR STREAM THIS 11 EP TODAY WAS THE BEST EP OF BLUE LOCK HOLLY LIKE WOWWWW IT'S 8/10!!!
12:07 so sae is now itachi and rin is sasuke 👌
😍
Bro love the Celeste OST in the background. Love your vids too keep it up!
Basically rin and sae are like itachi and Sasuke uchiha
I think Sae realize since he saw Rin shoot for the first time. He probably decided to be best MF even before going to Real. He go to Real to be a better player that can match with Rin genius. Sae might just want to play together with Rin in bigger stage. I assume that everything he does is for his brother.
1:03 Hell Nah💀 Bro has the KSI forehead😭🙏
😂😂😂
nah, KSI has 50% bigger forehead than that
i think he was more likely fast to realize that even the strongest of strikers NEED a strong supporting figure on the field with them or they won’t be able to prosper. Remember the same way Aiku believed the biggest of strikers STILL NEED their aces in the back so they can ONLY think about the goal
I like this theory. It fits into the plot pretty accurately
if Kaiser is supposed to be on par with Sae as a fellow New Gen 11. In recent chapters, it is pretty much confirmed that Rin is above Kaiser so does it mean that Rin has surpassed Sae? The whole NEL arc is making Kaiser look like a fraud.
💯💯
Rin bout to get the same treatment as Sasuke

informative and fun to watch
Sae Itoshi he's my 4th favourite character his too good while holding back his dribbling shooting passing vision crossing technique are 🔥🔥 imagine him at full potential⚽🧠
Plus he's got Aura
So your telling me sae to rin is basically itachi to sasuke
😂😂
😂😂 maybe they did it on purpose
Yaa😂
Very nice explanation. You got a sub, man. 👍
Ep 11 is craaazy
So excited for the revew
fireeeeeeeeeeeeee🤩🤩
Nah the main reason why same shut down Rin is because rin wants to be his brother's shadow
Maybe in Sae's case mad enough to completely cut ties with someone
Hope this makes sense 😋
Sae :
- Idea of Messi
- Ego of Ronaldo (Crushed)
- Personality of Zalatan
- Failure of Reus
- Career Injury from Academy of Neymar
Pr instead of luna (who would be in his 20’s by that time), Loki could fit as someone who crushed sae’s dream perhaps during a national youth tournament/championship as they’d be around the same age group
I'm calling it kaiser humiliated sas and she realized being a prodigy does not matter since there will always be a better person
😊
I think like Ego said , the wall of the talented is something one needs to scale to truly understand one’s dream
Like Isagi did , Sae must also have faced that wall , and instead of sticking with his current dreams by adapting like isagi did , he chose to change his dream to one which was more achievable from his POV
2:57 Messi that's who broke his dream
no it was Luna when Sae when in royal Madrid he saw how good Luna was and knew he was never gonna be that close

let fans write:
The creator said at some point we getting a sae and isagi team up
Very True... and Absolute cinema!!!!
Imagine if Rin just agreed being the no.1 striker along with Sae being the no.1 midfielder, they would have just been potentially the strongest duo but Rin just wanted that drama 🤦
So essentially Sea psyop'd Rin to unlock his ego and unleash his full potential

It’s simple basically, Sae thinks rin could be a great striker since rin has great talent unlike sae so sae has to play as midfielder
This video is off. Mid filder is a striker. They can score a goal wanted to. They are the commander of the field. They bring the ball up them self and score or pass to the player to score. Also, they are defenders, too. Sai choose mid basicly because he can everything in the game or consider best there is
sae is obviously going to play for japan in U-20 arc 😭
It's been hinted many times that Sae lost against a superior striker or maybe he got a taste of the reality that the top strikers isn't something he can achieve. I believe he thinks his ego isn't fit for becoming the World's Best Striker. That's the reason why he believes in Rin and Rin's destructive ego. Remember Rin stealing a goal when he was not even a player during Sae's match as a kid? Sae was shocked to see his bro make that play. Guess that was the first time he realized that Rin has superior potential, and his ego had the chances of going against the world's bests.
You guys in the comments who do you think is more talented and who's potential is higher and Y
Rin or Kaiser
😉😎
i have a gut feeling that the person that destroyed itoshi sae was Kaiser
so he put on a tough guy act to give his brother a chance to become 1# striker truly trough love
And the fact that Sae believes that Rin behaves like this is because he is in her rebellious phase.

Waiting for your review on episode 11.
I think sae was mad cuz he realize that rin would be the best striker because of his genius type and that him has no chance to change that fact. And that’s why he speak him so bad and change his goal
Sae is the silent genius type. He wouldn't think that.
Sae is pulling a Itachi on Rin
i feel like sae is pulling an itachi for rin because he realises rin is a genius and he isnt so if he can push him to become a talented learner too he can truly become the best in the world surpassing sae
