    I’ve been learning mandarin for almost 3 months and it’s not a simple task. My best advice is to just be consistent. Even if you only learned a sentence a day, that’s still progress.
    I recommend HelloChinese for beginners, and then slowly transition to anki when you’re near intermediate level.

    when chris (pbb mistakenly,) said daoqian instead of baoqian i rly had to pause and think bc he said it w so much confidence i second guessed myself :”)

    • @MintChocChip100
      @MintChocChip100 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      clouds8D daoqian is also correct.道歉 is more like the noun “apology”. Or saying a 3rd party is apologizing. But I think I usually see 抱歉 (baoqian) as “*I* apologize”. Another informal apologetic phrase (maybe to a more informal degree than baoqian) is 不好意思 (buhaoyisi), which directly translates to “not my intentions”. I think that equivocates to “my bad”.
      - Fellow ABC (who is just picking up Chinese grammar as I go) Please correct me if I’m wrong!

    • @clouds8D
      @clouds8D 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      MintChocChip100 mm yea 道歉 also means apology, but in the context that chris was using it, it should’ve been 抱歉.
