I tow my little Forest River Wolf Pup 16FQ, with my 2016 Colorado Z71,4x4, V6, with the Goodyear Duratrax tires! That do very well in trails like that! But I’ve added some skid plates under the PVC tank drain pipes! Along with good sized mud flaps all around, including a nice rubber skirt at the hitch.

Couple comparisons come to mind, Dodge truck has been tuned along with suspension upgrade & more aggressive tires. Ford truck looks stock from the factory, OEM tires don’t stand a chance in that, also front end is much heaver toting 6.4 power stroke, most likely if the ford had more aggressive tires and a front end leveling kit on it the outcome may have been different.
A dually rear axle and a better line would have helped. The engine had nothing to do with it. The Ford was still spinning tires when it stopped. Clearly a traction and clearance issue.
That first camper was screwed I could see the for from here the siding was falling off at the corners. Must suck something fierce to get stuck like that.

When off roading the higher ground is much better. Ground clearance of the vehicle will limit out at some point. Its better to steer away from that point.

Nationalcitysycho d i hope your talking about a gas 5.9 with those numbers. My 2004.5 came with 325hp and 600tq. Now plus injectors and tuner which adds 175hp and 375tq by itself. I have plenty of power, my work truck so not exactly my toy.
