- I take you guys with me to go fishing tackle shopping at Cabela's to load up on some gear for our road trip we're about to go on! We are taking the RV up to the northeast and going to be exploring new states and new fishing opportunities! If you fish like i do, you know the smaller and less stuff the better. I’ve added a photo of just some of my gear so you can see how serious i am about fishing.

Those sealskin socks are amazing! Work so well! We got issued them for a while in the British forces. I used too use mine for shallow beach work as it was like rubber boots but i could have better grip with studded boots and such.

Next time you hit up a store for soft plastics I highly, highly recommend picking up some Zoom "Fat Albert" Grubs for multispecies fishing. They're absolutely killer for bass, crappie, and walleye. Of course get the colors for the water clarity you're fishing in, but I've had a ridiculous amount of good fortune using the Pearl Chartreuse in muddy water (the pond is also highly pressured and that may have something to do with it) but Pearl Chartreuse & then some Margarita when it's a little clearer.
