Very helpful video for an older guy who is just returning to the fishing hobby after an absence of more than 40 years. Great tips for shopping at Walmart for stuff.
the compartment boxes out of the craft section are better, you don't have to worry about hooks on lures, etc, getting stuck under the dividers :) i use those.
They work great 😊 Good little trick for that also is to put each size of your hooks on safety pins 🧷 Keep them all organized and makes it impossible for them to slip under the dividers 😎🤙🏽
Online like eBay and Facebook marketplace mostly… American Legacy Fishing has used stuff, Tackle Warehouse has a few used items in the clearance section also.
@@WhereWeWild yeah, they can vary quite a bit. Mine is a not a Super Walmart. They have one row on one side for fishing. If you catch it right, you can find some good stuff. I cleaned them out on soft plastic paddle tails (white) about a week or two ago. We use them to jig fish for Walleye in the river. Luckily, I live in a fairly popular area, so the next Walmart isn't too far away, and they tend to have a better selection, also on the way to one of my fishing spots. Tight lines
@@DonnyAngler Nice! Haha a couple months ago they had strike king TUNGSTEN weights on clearance for $1.50 a pack! Lol those things are like $8 usually! I bought every one they had the receipt was epic! 😎😂🤙🏽 Good luck bro! 🎣😊
Really? All of em around here seem to be decently stocked. Sometimes they are better stoked than others but I think this one was the one in Stevenson Ranch if I’m not mistaken.
Oh man you can’t beat it sometimes! The other day I cleaned em out of strike king tungsten bullet weight packs on clearance for 1$ each! 😳 Tungsten!!! They are normally $7.99-$8.99 a pack! I bought every one they had! 😂🤙🏽
@@WhereWeWild no ..most quality brands are gone. I used to go there with my family and spend about an hour looking at all the lures while they shop. Now everything of brand name are gone.
@@WhereWeWild they used to have barrels with all the rods in it, not anymore….no longer Cary Rápala items and nothing of the new brands. I have to make a special trip to academy for the good stuff, but more expensive. Walmart took over everything , but now the quality went down.
Yeah pretty much man… I’m a bass fishermen mostly. I probably should have put that in the title I’m sorry. I should do this type of video again and include some salty stuff. 🤙🏽

That was a really good edit at the beginning. I like that.
Thanks 👊🏽😊

Hello, do you know a store or store that sells used fishing tools in America?
Online like eBay and Facebook marketplace mostly… American Legacy Fishing has used stuff, Tackle Warehouse has a few used items in the clearance section also.
@@WhereWeWild thanks 👍
@@hussennali6015 No problem. 👊🏽😊
Your Walmart is 1,000 times better than mine for fishing gear.
Ugh man yeah that sucks that they’re all different. 🤦🏻♂️ We have another one by us that isn’t as good as this one is either.

any rods you recommend for a beginner i’m going for a medium but i don’t know what size or brand at walmart
How much money are you looking to spend?
Get an ugly stick lite pro rod don't let the name fool you, they are strong sensitive rods.a Shimano quick fire reel is a great choice to.
I'm from the same area as you and have never seen a walmart with a fishing section that stocked. Is that the big one by Castaic?
Really? All of em around here seem to be decently stocked. Sometimes they are better stoked than others but I think this one was the one in Stevenson Ranch if I’m not mistaken.
Thanks
No prob! 😃🤙🏽
You can't live in Cali and not fish the Roboworm in Morning Dawn.
Hahahaha 😁
Not fond of Walmart, but they have a great selection and good prices.

I don’t know what any of this is I’m s complete noob, Can you do a beginners kit from Walmart
Hmmm as far as what? 🤔 What would be helpful for you to know that you don’t know about this stuff? 😊
My Walmart sucks the fishing isle is so small and it just sucks
That sucks 😕 They have some good deals by us sometimes but, it’s hit or miss.
My Walmart in Texas…doesn’t have crap, they used to have everything….what a shame
Ahhhh man. 😕 Hope they at least still have a decent fishing section!
@@WhereWeWild no ..most quality brands are gone. I used to go there with my family and spend about an hour looking at all the lures while they shop. Now everything of brand name are gone.
That’s insane! And in Texas!? Basically the best bass fishing in the country!? I’d think the Walmarts would be stocked!
