      Well, they are supposed to be useful, even if in the end they just end up being a bit rubbish...

      I was going to drive something else at Langley Prestige that day, but I ended up in this 108. Never mind, at least I got to try a manual one! Thank you again, sir.

    Small but perfectly formed. The styling of the Citroën C1 is more attractive and the fabric roof is very cool.
    Great engine and better clutch set up which was a weakness in the Peugeot 107.
    Very frugal.

      Yes sir, the 107s had a very weak clutch in them, which fortunately is very easy and quick to change. The 108 has a much nicer one to use. These will be likely to remain as sensible secondhand cars for some time to come.

    It's not got cruise control , it's just a speed limiter. Great video, thanks.

      That is correct, probably only available on the higher trims. Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting.

      @@lloydvehicleconsultingGot a higher trim. Still just the speed limiter.

    Hello Sir, I prefer the look of the Peugeot over the other two . I would like to try one , it would be interesting to see how they go .

      If you try one, sir, make sure that it's a manual one, that is all I can say... Thank you very much indeed for watching and commenting!

    I just wonder how long the joint collaboration of Peugeot, Citroen Toyota and Vauxhall/Opel can last in the present environment

      Not sure, sir, but two of the vans they produce have versions with all five badges.

      Toyota no longer collabs with PSA after they bought the entire ownership of the TPCA factory. As for the rest, PSA owns all of them

      @@matejaem , they collaborate together on vans to this day, but no longer for passenger cars.

    We have a 108 and I think you'll find that the cruise control is actually just a settable speed limiter.

    You are starting to worry me now with those Wet Belt Alerts that flash up. I have just bought a 2016 108 1.2 ltr with a timing belt so I assume that is what I have. It has done 50,000 miles. Am I safe for a while with this belt?

    • @lloydvehicleconsulting
      @lloydvehicleconsulting  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think that it's approaching the time for the belt to be replaced, if it has not already been. Yes, it's a real thing on these engines.

    Rather basic motoring Joseph but everyone has to start somewhere. Ideal for a new driver to gain experience and probably a low insurance group.

      Yes, the residual values of these are holding up quite well, and they do have low running costs and a good reliability record. Not very luxurious, however.

    Actually i prefer the Mk1 versions, ideal for local running about .

    • @lloydvehicleconsulting
      @lloydvehicleconsulting  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's a much more refined car than before, I imagine like the previous version, it won't cost much to run.
