I've been called to houses where it would be a simple repair but then would be some for free work around their house and then get mad at me when I said I don't do that
Very frustrating dealing with contractors, even licensed ones - I called a plumbing business (licensed) to have hot water heater replaced and they sent a young guy who was on the phone the whole time with them asking questions about how to install it. Must have been new? Well that water heater didn't last long! Heard from the next plumber, years later, it was installed incorrectly.
@@alfmcstuffjns2080 This water heater was under the stairs - He did not install a plastic looking tub underneath the water heater - so when the water heater leaked, it leaked all over our floor, but we didn't know it because it was hidden. The flooring had to be replaced. When the next plumber installed a new one, it had a plastic tub that would catch the water if it leaked and he put a tube to drain the water directly into our crawl space.
Great plumbers are not easy to come by. I can understand this plumber saying " Your wasting my time". I personally have as much work as I can handle and more. So, if a job falls through. I got many others to take its place.
Sad when you get a plumber and does not do what he was hired to do. He should have been on contract with the plaintiff and let him know when he was going to the property in question. Contracts spells out everything, if both parties had taken the time to write one up and signed.
I question the legality of the entire scenario. Essentially the plaintiff hired a spot checker for the guy he actually hired to do the job, who doesn't sound like a bona-fide plumber to begin with. Why would the defendant even get involved in this mess, (I wish I could find a correct spelling for the Yiddish term Judge Judy would use for "Mess") except it was an easy buck!
Marry a handywoman/handyman. Mine can finish an entire basement from the staircase to the arch going to the den & in to the fun room equipped with a beer fridge + beer tap, woodwork on the ceiling to hold all the different styles of wine glasses, mugs w/ handles & all the beautiful things that make life worth living in the den & wanting to move permanently down there, he did all the plumbing, electrical, walls, ceiling, excellent woodwork, etc. If need be, he can fix cars too,but cqrs are not on his favorite list lol😂. He's a gem 💎💎💎and most of all....we don't have to deal with incompetent POS 💩bags & fork over our hard-earned $$$ to these losers.
I can completely understand why the plaintiff was very upset and disappointed because he hired the defendant to do plumbing work for him but instead an unlicensed assistant was sent who fucked up the job. But unfortunately this is what happens when you have the responsibility of owning a home. In the plaintiff's case he was building a home so even more hands on needed to be done in order for things to go right..
My property management just sent their plumber to do something or other... A different opinion...I rent, and am glad to do so. Being older, and alone....it's nice to have someone else to call. 😎😉
Heidi, for me I call a plumber personally anyhow to have work done if something goes wrong. Haven't had any issues in my experiences. Owning a home certainly does come with it's own share of responsibility which should be understood by everyone whose trying to own or those like myself that already do. But it beats renting even though yes it's all out of pocket expenses. Renting isn't an option for me. Nothing beats having your very own dwelling.
This proves there is never enough time to do it right but there is always enough time to do it over . If defendant really did go back and rescind the permits he pulled and plaintiff had to start over again. Then yes plaintiff deserves his money back. This is what happens when you try to do things on the cheap.
I cannot imagine embarking on a project like this with no contract. When will people ever learn?
As a former Microsoft employee, the “Bing it” Guy definitely works there 😂
5:50 first time I've ever actually heard someone say "You can Bing it" 😅
“ The most macho person here is me “…..Judge is soooo funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

So many misteps here. No contract for new construction plumbing? And why somone would “lend” their professional license to ANYONE is beyond me.
The guy on the street with Harvey works for Microsoft. No one says 'bing it'
Lol

The heater broke? The piping broke? Even a bad installation won't break the heater itself.
What’s a hot water heater is it shipped with a bucket of steam?

There is nothing wrong with sending an apprentice to do work on a job site. The only thing the journeyman has to do is check his work.
Alright

And with the judge ready to rule, the defendant is calling out a contract that did not exist.
Both Plaintiff & Defendant had a bad idea to talk over Judge Milian. They deserved each other.
Why does the judge make a big deal if someone calls another person a bad word??????? Omgggggg shss so fake
Y'all know that this episode is yet another opportunity for the immodest braggart Adriann Princie/Knight to brag on himself. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What is the name of the other case?
