Nice vid! Brand new to Florida, was gonna take the boat out to Poinsett next week. The only ramp I found is off of sr520 river lakes boat ramp. Can you access the lake from this ramp?
Yes you can. When you leave the 520 ramp go south and you'll be in the lake. Good luck!
@@ChrisMitchellFishing tried it thismorning on the north side of sr520 I must not know how to navigate it yet, got stuck jumped out had to push the boat out and go back to the ramp... Was kinda shocked it's a nitro 884 Savage. Any other ramps I can try? Thanks in advance
There's a ramp on the other side of 520 by the restaurant. Have you tried that one? Other than that those are the only good ones. water is low right now so its gonna be a little tough in some spots. Once you learn the lake and river you'll know where you can run when the water gets low like that.

Very nice to see those quality fish in there, hopefully no one gets in there and rapes them while they are spawning. With the FWC suspending all spraying state wide maybe this lake can come back. Good job catching fish and keeping gene out of there!
Thanks! There was a cast-netter in that canal which had me kind of worried because some of them like to keep everything. I'm happy they stopped spraying. Hopefully its a good while too.
