There was a Green Lantern issue during the Judd Winick run which contained a panel you could say was cursed. But not in the sense of ones that become memes. But because of a few problems it had and caused. I forget the issue number, but it was the last one of the story that introduced the villain Effigy. In the top left panel on the final page, Kyle and Jade are sitting on the edge of a building. Jade says she can't help but feel sorry for Effigy. Kyle says: 'He's your brother.' That set the continuity cops going. An issue or two later they printed a comment at the top of the letter page that said it was an error. I can't remember what it said the correct dialogue was. But it was one that was just as muddled and confusing continuity wise. Because a couple of issues after that they printed a correction to the correction. It should have said 'he reminds you of your brother.' So for the problems of that panel, and the problems of trying to solve the problems, it might as well have been cursed.

Stopping it at 8:00 to say I'm going to start a rock band and call it Papa Spank.
Hey, I actually read this one not long ago! I bought the facsimile edition of Batman no. 1 and when I got to that panel, I sent a picture of it to a friend who loves both Batman and kinks.
I also agree that the book as a whole is really strong.
"All the money you make bring it back to me." The Wayne family didn't get rich by letting people keep money you know.
I'm kind of curious about that 1929 film, but I really don't want to google "Papa Spank".
One of my favorite panels ever, for so many bad reasons 😂
You think Bats is thirsty here; check out Poison Ivy's first appearance in the '60's. His canonical first words to her? "You are luscious, dreamboat!"
OMG!! Your voice acting for all the characters was hilarious and spot on! Hahaha! 🤣🤣🤣
These have all been so fun (and informative)! I hope this series continues for awhile.
Always love your Batman voice!
