100% agree. It has always complicated things vs if having self control and thinking before doing. Birth control was a fine invention (although it could be greatly improved by now, if they cared) but it messes too much with your hormonal stability and gives false confidence. Therapy dealt with her self doubt, lack of confidence, poor self image. Got sober, went back to college. Has a Ph.D in electrical engineering.
