I noticed that with FWB one person is being used and the other follows along in hopes of something more only to be let down and hurt
Yes, thats the norm.
This isnt exclusive to fwb the same thing happens when one person is doing things for other person like emotional support or other kinds of help which is not necessarily having sex trying to get a relationship with them but the other person doesnt want it but just wants to be friends.

Reese you need to leave this bum azz dude. I’ve been there done that, trust me, you WILL heal and you WILL be SO much happier without him. There’s plenty of guys out there for you who WILL commit to you and won’t be afraid to show you off and be affectionate in public and everything.
