@@catchingbird1 exactly - thats a year's worth of mortgage for us - i get all the work and everything that goes into it - just the average person cant fathom dropping that kind of coin on something they will wear once
The cost involves a lot of hand-sewing of appliqués and bling onto the dress, as well as reasonably paying skilled artisans in a first-world country (usually the USA).
I find it so refreshing that Napiera did not feel the need to show off her body on her wedding day. I'm kind of tired of brides who think being sexy means as tight as possible and cut down to there.
I love that the super stars didn’t make this about them. I loved Beth in This is Us and her tv mom is a legend. Very cool to see them just be supportive and not outshine the beautiful bride!

For the bride looking for a ball gown, why didn’t they show her something with a taffeta, silk or satin skirt? Why did they only show her tulle? Tulle seems to be a hit now, but when I was a young lady (over 50 now), it was considered cheap.
