Magic eraser , sounds crazy but with a little brake buster as a lube..this is the best series in a long time. Great content!
This video dropped right after my delivery of the new Detail Factory / OG tire dressing brush. I've been rocking the Race Glaze for years but this new brush has the perfect weight and the ergonomics of the grip is just perfect. It would be sweet if you can get the rights to build those Source Garage wheel stands since I wasn't able to pull the trigger on buying one when they were available!
As soon as you talked about the wheel stand, I had perked up because I really really like that. Being able to swivel it that would be perfect.
If the chemical fumes are so bad that you need to do it quick and get it out of there, that’s a good indication that you should use a respirator. Especially in a totally enclosed garage. Don’t mess around with that crap. Fumes of that level are some bad stuff to breathe in.

ASS wheel coating is great. They got it right just like their paint coating. Looking forward to try out their new glass coating version because the first one was good.
Looking great but surprised you didn’t dry ice blast the rims to help with the cleaning/staining?
I didn't have any ice on hand.
If you're opening the bottle and don't have a second set of wheels to do, you might as well do a second coat. Whatever is left won't last.
This stuff does. I opened this bottle 3 or 4 weeks ago for a different set. It was still good.
Matt you should DRY Ice clean those wheels.
I know it sounds cheesy but, I always scrub greasy tires with Dawn, it always works for me.
That works for sure.
i use Dawn platinum Powerwash on occasion.

The shirt length seems to be much shorter for the same sizes as compared to previous LA Apparel 50/50 you offered
I find that red/orange shirts always seem to be shorter. I'm not sure why. The greens are normal length.
Wouldn’t brakekleen just clean off the old break dust just as good? And I Tarminator is awesome stuff, but man make sure your area is properly ventilated.
It may, but it could also damage the finish.

Why did you apply tire dressing before you coated the wheel? Wouldn’t it be better to do it afterwards?
You get some tire dressing on the face of the wheel. I don't want anything on my fresh coating.

Why mineral spirits to remove the old dressing? I thought dry ice did this job well.
I think its because dry ice isn't as easy to get as Mineral spirits
I would still follow dry ice tire cleaning with mineral spirits.
Is there a reason why you prefer armour wheel coatings?
It’s really good. Better than DLUX which Matt used to use in overall performance and durability. Bradley and DJ knocked it out of the park with the wheel coating.
I've tried a dozen or so wheel coatings. This one has great chemical resistance and water behavior. It looks great, reasonably easy to apply, and should last quite a while.

For a home garage probably extreme overkill, but otherwise seems like a great solution.
