@@davidsteckley8846 the pad washer is just a better more efficient way to do what you are describing above. Instead of washing one in a sink you just put the polisher in the washer and pull the trigger. It contains the cleaning solution and the mess. I've only watched a little bit, but I think the machine fighting you was a combination of a pad that wasn't fully primed/broken in yet and the grabbiness of TLC+ with the wool pad. Spencer knows single stage way better than I do, but be careful with TLC+ if you ever try it on newer (thinner) two stage paint. I was chasing some scratches on my 2012 X5 with a PXE-80, blue wool and TLC+ and I burned down to the primer near (not on) an edge in just a few seconds. I didn't touch it again after that and was very happy with the cutting performance of the standard (black bottle) of TLC. I've talked to Levi about it and he pretty much reserves TLC+ for gelcoats and thick/hard clears where he knows he has plenty of paint to work in. TLC+ isn't nearly as friendly as TLC when it comes to cycle time, dust and trim staining. If you're still open to trying (more) new compounds, P&S just released their Rehab correction creme. I've never been a fan of P&S compounds/polishes but Rehab is really really good. I need to play with it more but it might replace TLC for me. Also, punt that detail guards pad washer right in the trash. The Lake Country pad washer is what you want. The pad stays on the machine, doesn't get nearly as wet (one or two pumps is all you need), and you just spin it dry real fast. You shouldn't be getting any liquid on the paint. Use it with rinseless (256:1) for best results.
@@YuriTarded-hf1nv After watching more of the video, I think it might be down to the interaction of that heavy cutting compound and that particular paint. I just used blue wool (both the new style and old style) on my HLR15 and HLR 21 all day long, it was as smooth as can be. It didn't fight me at all.
When washing the pads make sure you spin them out on full speed until the moisture is taken out. Will help with a smoother user experience while polishing as well.

Polisher stalling on you has more to do with technique and pad angle than it does with power. Maybe try making some slight adjustments with your technique
True but when you have different polishers testing them side by side with the same technique and one is stalling that's an indication of the behavior of the polisher. You can get around it by making adjustments but that's a lot of time and performance loss in a professional environment. Regardless, it does not change the fact that one polisher has less torque than the other. In Rupes cae it comes down to their inferior battery tech.@@YuriTarded-hf1nv
