If these owners treat their employees like shit, then sorry to say, you're gonna get shit products. Quality starts at the top.

as a michigan native, I can tell you the best joints in the state at least in south east michigan are all outside of the city. you have to go to a hole in the wall redzone area in detroit to get good food. other than that I wouldn't recommend any spots in detroit really.

Im from Detroit and I've never seen this place in my life or heard of it. Tbh im really picky and i don't even eat out because most foods are trash and processed, the neighborhoods are poor, we keep moving out the city, minimum wage can't even provide a single person with a place to live, gentrification only cares about 10% of the city. Fast food and liquor stores overwhelm us and unless youre a healthy/conscious eater and/or have some money to spend, THERE IS NO GOOD FOOD LOL. Detroit has sophisticated, diverse, UPSCALE restaurants and its always diverse. People cook at home. You have to be diverse to find good food in Detroit. If you're not diverse, you're not going to find anything. In the summer, its 20 food trucks downtown everyday and they switch up. Detroit is different, its a different lifestyle. You're not going to find good food this way IN THE HOOD. Don't add insult to injury bro. They already oppress the people. Were just dollar signs these days. Alot of people don't care what they feed us, they just know their the only food around that area for the locals

As someone who traveled as part of my living. The WORST food in the country was Michigan and especially Detroit. They were tied for first place with Minnesota. Horrible.
