- Summer 2020 I build a whole overland rig inside my 1991 2dr Mercedes Benz G-Class so I could go on more adventures. Well, this was the first real one. I drove from Los Angeles to Vancouver, Canada and slept in my truck along the way.

As a fellow G Wagon owner / restorer, I'm really enjoying the content! Especially liked the other video you made detailing all the upgrades you've done. I've also made a custom bracket to display the 'correct' side of my spare wheel on the rear swing door - great minds think alike :)
David, I am old vehicle sort of guy. Curious how usable these are in the daily or modern use. I found a 1982 300GD 617 NA and its very clean. seems like a great deal. only found minimal rust with looking it over top and bottom.

you don't need anything other that when you need in the US (registration and insurance) but I would do a quick google to make sure.
