    15 months of debilitating back pain. 3 months of strength training (marginal pain reduction). 25 days of this super easy routine and now 90% improvement. Cannot explain it. Cannot thank you enough.

    I’ve been doing these exercises for about 5 weeks. Before this I had pain in my lower back which went round to my hips. I had x.ray and doctor was no help, since doing these exercises, the pain has virtually gone. I am so happy I’ve found your you tube channel. I’ve been telling everyone how great your exercises are. Thank you

    This is definitely my go-to daily routine to help with my back problems. Seems easy but helps tremendously. I warmly recommend to anyone having back pains.

    I just completed another video of yours, I've been doing your workouts for a couple of years(since COVID began) and you mentioned how you talk a lot and that is just your way, PLEASE DON'T EVER STOP! I love the talking, it makes it feel even more fun and casual as we workout! I truly appreciate it and I bet a lot of others do too.

      I find the talking helpful, as well, because then I can just listen to what I'm supposed to do and not have to watch the screen the whole time. Once I'm familiar with the routine, I can just listen to the cues.

    This really works! I tried to stretch out my lower back pain but of course I didn't know what I was doing. I've been following this routine for almost a week, and the pain was gone after just a few days. I'm so glad I found this video. Thank you, Jessica!

    In all the Pilates videos I’ve watched and classes I’ve done, no instructor has ever mentioned a fusion surgery specifically. It’s also great to know you’ve actually had abdominal surgeries. Thank you so much for the strategic exercises and for your expertise.

    Jessica you are a life saver! I came across your channel last year and your videos were brilliant when I was trying to get back into fitness after a period of losing my mojo. I managed to build it back pretty quickly and was able to run in a half marathon after 3 years since my last. I noted your channel as a resource for when I'd be getting hyrestectomy, when a surgery slot came available in March out of the blue so I took it. I wish I had remembered your channel sooner as since then I have struggled with my recovery in so many respects, got no info about physio or how to go about managing my recovery to allow for my previous level of fitness. I went from high level to absolututely nothing for 2 months - everything atrophied and I've developed acute lower back pain which I'm only getting physio for now. This little routine has gone a long way to reassuring me that it might be possible to recover, I'm not destined to a life with chronic back pain or never being able to run again - thank you so much for your channel and your wisdom!!!!

    I love this video so much. Thank you for simplifying these movements for us. It’s nice that you start with the simplest versions first and then show the more advanced modifications instead of the other way around. When I did this video for the first time years ago, it only took 9 days for my lower back pain to go away. Now, I come back to this video as more of a maintenance practice.     I'm such a fan of your workouts! I stopped working out for a while back cos I suffered lower back pain probably from wrong position working out. So I was looking for Pilates exercises as alternative and from all those that I've checked out, yours stand out. I love all your explanations, helped me follow the routines properly. Now my back pain is all gone, thanks to you! Even my BF joins me from time to time doing your workouts and stretches. No BS, I really love your workouts!

    Not done pilates before, but after hiking around UK for 3 1/2 months my old back issues have arisen. Found this short routine really easy to follow and something after some practice i feel i can do on my own. Am going to try and do daily and see what impact it has. Thank you and fingers crossed.

    I'm so glad I found you! Many of the exercises in your videos are what my PT has me doing after having both hips replaced (and I have disc issues in my lower back). It's so much easier and more motivating to do my PT at home along with your videos so thank you!!

    I like that you talk about people who have had spinal fusion. I have had fusion with scoliosis and there aren't many videos that don't focus a lot on forward bends which are not good for me.

    ive had a sore lower back since sleeping on a very uncomfortable bed the other day, wasn't getting better no matter what i did. did this routine ONCE and am at like 75% improvement!

    Thank you for this. My doctor recommended Pilates to help with back pain following muscle damage and trapped nerves. You have a very relaxed and supportive manner and I love the way you offer alternative approaches depending on ability same comfort.     I really like this short video for the back. I have had continual back pain for decades now and find that these have been a big help for me. I have incorporated these into my daily routine. I doubt my back will ever not hurt, but these exercises make it easier for me to get through my day. When the pain wakes me up I get up and do them as well. Moving is much better than not moving and trying to hold the pain in. Thanks and for all the other videos Jessica has.

    i absolutely love your videos thankyou so much! was advised to try pilates after visiting the chiropractor and so far your channel is the only one i use! i have one question though.. when layed on the floor doing pelvic tilts / rocks, you say tilt towards you so your back is flat on the ground.. my back is naturally flat to the ground, is this a problem? also when you tilt the other way is your back supposed to arch so you can fit a hand underneath your back while bums still on the floor? sorry for the questions and if they seem silly i just want to make sure im doing things correctly and not adding to my bad back! x
