I find the talking helpful, as well, because then I can just listen to what I'm supposed to do and not have to watch the screen the whole time. Once I'm familiar with the routine, I can just listen to the cues.

I am going to continue doing it frequently in an effort to strengthen my back. I am developing arthritis in my back, and been struggling. Doesn't take much to hurt it, so been resting it a lot thinking that well let it heal. The result is I made my muscels that support my back weaker making my back hurt even more. I had a little routine that I do 2 times a day for the past 2 weeks, this week I added your pilates to do during lunch. Hope to soon graduate to the 15 minute routine during lunch.
Jessica you are a life saver! I came across your channel last year and your videos were brilliant when I was trying to get back into fitness after a period of losing my mojo. I managed to build it back pretty quickly and was able to run in a half marathon after 3 years since my last. I noted your channel as a resource for when I'd be getting hyrestectomy, when a surgery slot came available in March out of the blue so I took it. I wish I had remembered your channel sooner as since then I have struggled with my recovery in so many respects, got no info about physio or how to go about managing my recovery to allow for my previous level of fitness. I went from high level to absolututely nothing for 2 months - everything atrophied and I've developed acute lower back pain which I'm only getting physio for now. This little routine has gone a long way to reassuring me that it might be possible to recover, I'm not destined to a life with chronic back pain or never being able to run again - thank you so much for your channel and your wisdom!!!!

I really like this short video for the back. I have had continual back pain for decades now and find that these have been a big help for me. I have incorporated these into my daily routine. I doubt my back will ever not hurt, but these exercises make it easier for me to get through my day. When the pain wakes me up I get up and do them as well. I like that you talk about people who have had spinal fusion. I have had fusion with scoliosis and there aren't many videos that don't focus a lot on forward bends which are not good for me.

Three weeks in and I don't know myself! Thank you so much! I only missed one day as I was feeling very unwell. I have added some reps and some knee, shoulder and neck exercises, just a few, to bring it up to 20 minutes a day. I can't wait to move from remedial to beginner! ❤❤❤

ive had a sore lower back since sleeping on a very uncomfortable bed the other day, wasn't getting better no matter what i did. did this routine ONCE and am at like 75% improvement!

Not done pilates before, but after hiking around UK for 3 1/2 months my old back issues have arisen. Found this short routine really easy to follow and something after some practice i feel i can do on my own. Am going to try and do daily and see what impact it has. Thank you and fingers crossed.
