    I really hope this new medication works out for you and continues to work. You’ve been through so much over the last year alone.

      Paul has been to hell and back with this, I feel so bad for everyone! I have crohns as well and it sucks

      Paul has gone through so much since last year. We try our best to get him back on track as soon as possible 💪💪

    The ad before this video was for the same medication. Kinda creepy, we are always being watched. MUAHAHAA! I’m a medical nerd , thank you for sharing your medical journey for all these years.

    Nurse: yes
    Wait that didn't answer the question at all XD

    Is it known what they can/will do if that one doesn't work???

      @TheRawLife1  ปีที่แล้ว

      We would than start looking into possibly making Paul’s colostomy into a permanent bag which would be another surgery

    Will the return of the crohns make re-attachment an option still?

    • @ServiceDogRosie
      @ServiceDogRosie ปีที่แล้ว

      Usually time will tell! It takes weeks (usually 6 to 8 weeks) for biologics to kick in and work well! The wait to find out is the worst

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  ปีที่แล้ว

      From speaking to Paul’s doctors, if Paul still has Crohn’s we need to continue waiting until we find the right medication to help Paul get through the flare. If it continues than we may need to look again at a permanent ostomy bag

    Skyrizzi hasn't helped me after 3 doses

      I’m so sorry to hear that. What are the next steps for you for treatment?

  • @janhatcher6991

    I just wondered why don't you do your own medication? Why does she have to do it for you? I am visually impaired and I have used that type of medication before and have done it all by myself not being able to see.

      It honestly depends on the patient and caregivers comfort level with self administration of the injection they receive and the physician prescribing the injection!
      Also, for some meds the pharmaceutical companies make it where you have to have a rep be there for the first couple of times due to mode of administration, potency and accuracy so you get the med in accurately for optimal tx outcomes!

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Rosie is right and explained it so well. The company sent this rep to show us how it is. Which we are okay with because we want to make sure we are administering the medication correctly

    Good luck with skyrizi.
    What’s your cal-pro number?
    Mine is 1500 plus :(
    If I am approved for skyrizi, it will also be my 5th biologic too.
    I am in the UK.

      @TheRawLife1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh wow, I’m sorry to hear that. It’s hard to go through these biologics like how we are. Do you take it for Crohn’s?

    Was stellar not working enough or not at all

    • @ServiceDogRosie
      @ServiceDogRosie ปีที่แล้ว

      That is what I gathered from the video, unfortunately it seems it was not a strong enough med to control the severe flare and disease process Paul's going through

    • @TheRawLife1
      @TheRawLife1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly it was not strong enough to make a big difference in Paul’s Crohn’s disease. He needs a strong biologic to combat his severe Crohn’s
