My son who's 22 is going on this med next week. I'd like to know how this is going. My son has gotten down to 97 lbs.

I read some of the studies on skyrizi versus stelara and generally, it is more successful for inducing crohns remission. I also read in this study about less side effects and that skyrizi is safer to take.
I reeeeally can’t wait to try it now. Just got to await a flexi sig in two weeks before paperwork is submitted.
Yes my doctor had told me that Skyrizi is much safer then remicade, and the other biological medications.
And that he has over 60 patients on Skyrizi and that he had over a 95% success rate with his patients on it.
Amd having gone through some bad side effects I'm glad I'm on this new one.
Stomas are a blessing and a curse so to speak. I’m going for an urgent endoscopy and ileoscopy this Thursday. I noticed harder, redder bumps on my stoma. Doc says it’s very common to get granulomas on your stoma but because I’m on a very specialized medication to help my small intestine (my colon and rectum had to be removed) absorb nutrients, they have to check everything out. Life 🤷🏻♀️

My entyvio just stopped working I think. My doctors is going to put me on skyrizi. I truly hope it helps me. I’m recovering and dealing with anal fistulas and I just feel like I can’t continue, but I’m trying and it’s just so hard having to have to work in pain without any relief. 😢
Finding the right biologic is so hard. I am in process of figuring out if the one I am on is failing or if it is because my pain doctor lowered my pain medications and since then my pain is insane again. I was doing well on it until doctor reduced my pain medications so not sure if my biologic is failing or my pain med reduction is causing my pain. I have Ankylosing Spondylitis along with multiple rare spinal diseases so my inflammation is always bad. My labs looked good and inflammatory markers looked good so my pain and exhaustion could be from lack of pain control. Good luck. I hope this one is the right one for you.

I’m about to start my third biologic. Humira and entyvio did not clear my inflammation and bleeding. Those are my two main symptoms and gas but other than that i feel great. Just worried that this is my last medication before possible surgery..
Glad things are going a bit better even if it’s still a bit nerve wracking with the prolapsing.
Step by step, one thing at a time. But we will keep moving forward each and everyday!👍💚😃
