- We did a trip in a new 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD LFP from Las Vegas to Tucson. Here are the highlights where to charge and stop. Due to elevation decrease, this car was able to make the trip with 1 stop. Return trip from Tucson to Vegas is different story due to going up in elevation.
Yeah~ really interesting picture~
thank you. return trip slightly different due to up hill elevation
Nice video! Hope we get to see the trip back to Vegas!
Yes. Working on it now. The return trip requires more time for charging due to going up hill.
Why don’t you do the autopilot , During the long hwy ride ?
The car has the base autopilot. Didn’t purchase the upgrade. I do use it from time to time on open highways with no traffic. I enjoy driving and best way to avoid rock chips.
How are you able to put a picture on your driving profile?
Hi, just thumbnail selection when you upload.
@@disndatauto5586 you might have to do a tutorial I can't find it on my car. 😭😭 I have a 2021 Tesla model 3.
@@jbone2345 oh shoot sorry I completely spaced the question. You upload the profile pic on your app on your phone. And it automatically sends it to the car.
@@disndatauto5586 got it! Thanks!!
Nice warrior attitude. Of course you were going to make it. God hates a coward. (Also, Teslas have a pretty significant buffer at the bottom of the battery too, allegedly).
Ty. The model 3 does have 3 extra kwh after zero. But is deceptive during cold weather. Back in dec I went 4 miles pass zero when is 40 degrees outside and car just went completely dead and had to get it towed. I believe the cold temp drastically reduced the range as well.
